It's on the third floor of a cute building in Dupont Circle and has a very warm and welcoming vibe. It is a good sized studio which is spacious and light filled. There is a nice sized coat room where you can store your shoes, bags and coats. Also, they offer filtered water and hot tea which adds to the cozy vibe. It has always been clean which I appreciate because not every studio I've encountered in DC has been that way. My first class was a Vinyasa class with Lorraine. It was a great class because it was fast paced enough for someone already familiar with yoga but had enough modifications for me because I hadn't practiced in a while. There were people of many levels and ages in the class which made if feel very inclusive. After that class, I became a member and have loved all of the yoga and Pilates classes I've taken. All of the other instructors I've had (Ebony, Ryan and Jessica) have been great- the classes are the perfect mix of.challenging workout yet have a nice chill part of the class as well. I also appreciate that the classes are 60 minutes long with a nice buffer of time before the other class begins. There is never that mad rush to leave that you have in other studios which kind of brings my post- class bliss down sometimes. I definitely recommend that people try out Pea Street Yoga especially if you want to support a local business. They often have special promos with the restaurant below, DC Vegan, where you can get a free treat or soup if have taken a class that day which is a nice surprise.

I love the teachers (especially Ronnie and Aubrey!) and they offer a variety of yoga styles and levels so there is really something for everyone. They offer classes in real time via zoom and via their video library so if you miss a class, you can take it when it's uploaded to the library. They are opening up the studio so in-person classes will be available in addition to zoom. Looking forward to being back on the mat, in person when it's safe to do so!

I take full responsibility for what I am writing here. In brief, this business is dishonest and has fraudulent practices. Let me explain. They used my credit card to charge me for 2 additional months of membership that I did not authorize. A few months ago, WYC and Kiron, the business owner, sent out an email with a special offer membership that had (and I quote) "no contract". I signed up for one month, because I knew I was moving away from DC in the near future. 1.5 months later I noticed repeating charges from WYC appearing on my cc. I wrote them, politely asking them to address the issue. I got a 3 sentence reply from Megan stating "it appears to be a membership charge and it will end in 3 months, the minimum for the membership". I wrote back again, this time in detail explaining what has happened and quoting their own advertisement. To date, 1.5 months later, the business has not acknowledged the issue or responded to me (same email address, so I know they read it regularly). I've never had such experience before with another business. I was clear and professional in my correspondance. Today I finally called my cc; they will deal with the business directly about the fraudulent charges moving forward. I've had one other unprofessional experience with WYC during my 1 month of membership with them. It took WYC 1.5 months to refund me an accidental charge that I was told would be refunded, and it took great persistence and effort on my part (multiple visits to talk to someone in person, multiple phone calls with no one returning my calls). There are other yoga places in this city that are credible. Practice your consumers rights and support them instead! I will never do business with WYC again.

Overall, I really enjoyed the instructor, the cleaniness of the studio & of course the non-judgemental vibe of fellow yogis!

I felt like I'd been part of the community for years. The owner (Charlie), front desk person and instructor (Sam) all chatted me up while I waited for the class to start. I let on that I had a bit of anxiety because the class was out of my comfort zone and the instructor let me know that it was okay to feel that way. Yes, the class challenging for me, more so due to the heat but I feel like I held my own. I definitely felt that class the next day. Sam is a gem and I look forward to taking other classes as this studio.

I've been coming here since they opened this location and have experienced 7-8 instructors, each for a few times... and have been thoroughly pleased ... the owners are lovely and have a lot of pride in how they manage both locations ... COVID UPDATE- Masks are required during workouts (they provide paper ones if you need a more breathable option) and the number of beds have been condensed with ample space to & around ones self. If you are fatigued with every local yoga class catering to either beginners or acrobats, try this studio. That said, Haus definitely takes time for arm balances and headstands. It appears that mats are free, no filtered water available, no showers, non cork yoga mats. You have to leave your shoes outside of the studio on the landing. Another DC studio priced to favor membership without offering a lot of classes. I've done similar style classes (Sculpt, sculpt & flow, etc.) at a number of different studios/companies and how Stephanie did it at this location really got me going in the best way! Rundown: Class format: sculpt & flow Instructors: Stephanie, Meera, Kristen, Abby Rating: 5/5 for all instructors Facility: 4.9/5 - The only thing this location is missing is the very awesome tea bar that's located at the South Alexandria location. They have one here but I like the tea options better at the other. 12 minutes of yoga. 36 of strength training. 12 of yoga cool down? Whew. In a heated room? Incredible. Music has been great across classes. Stephanie was encouraging and her stories made class go faster. I loved how good of a workout this was. Stephanie was a great instructor. Meera might be my faveeeeee. Her playlist was popping, and she was really making the girls work with her workout. The sculpt portion targeted pretty much everything. I'm trying to focus on, so very appreciated. Kristen was also amazing. While hers felt a little more cardio than anything else, I could definitely feel some significant sculpting happening, and she's got great energy. Super encouraging and definitely challenging. Location is clean. They validate parking and everyone was nice. Even though there are no showers, I LOVED that the bathroom has just about everything you need for a quick refresh, including face wash. Looking forward to coming back. Also, out of the three locations I've been to across Alexandria and Arlington, I would say that this one definitely is my favorite.

This studio also provides towels (including cold towels) and has a fill bottle station for water. I've only ever taken the yoga sculpt classes at this location, and this is the perfect workout to add to my weekly rotation. The class is also great for beginners; I've always been more of a Pilates girl, but I've found that YogaSix more than suits my needs in terms of strengthening and toning. While the class tends to be mostly attended by women, I've seen plenty of men sign up as well. Classes are almost always full, so early signup and arrival is recommended. I wish that they had showers so that I could do these workouts in the morning before work, but that is more of a personal preference and not a critique of the studio by any means. I cannot recommend this place enough, as it's great for people at any stage in their fitness journey

I've been here twice now…read more My first class was in 2023. I found them on ClassPass and I took a Tuesday night Yin class with Carley. I was not impressed. The sequencing was odd and her commentary wasn't my style. At some point, she said something like, "think about... I don't know... the window" and I just couldn't let it go. lol. Like, just not for me. I took a Sculpt class today with Aaliyah. It was fine, at best. I've been fortunate enough to take similarly-formatted classes at other studios - big, small, local, national - and this one just missed the mark. Aaliyah did a GREAT job of letting you know what to expect, and coaching you through doing moves correctly. But dear god, the insanely long breaks between every. Single. Move. And. Each. Block. Threw me off! At one point, there was like an actual 2-3 minute break. I burned under 300 calories for an hour-long class which NEVER happens for me. I think part of the issue was that she was doing every move with us and was getting pretty tired herself. The pace wasn't consistent enough for me. But there were older and pregnant people in class so maybe that's the gentler version. I appreciate that there's a yoga offering in this location but the styles here aren't for me. Like, I didn't even need or want a savasana at the end and didn't have the same clarity I normally do. That said, if you want a class where you're not really pushed to your edge and you want a slower pack with more sculpting handholding, this place is great!
