Ok, where do I begin?! Back in high school I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I learned then that…read moremost doctors don't believe in things they don't understand; and they would rather insist "everything is OK" than take the time to figure out the mystery. So you can imagine my surprise when I met Dr. Vance. I went in for a small problem, and then quickly realized that he could solve the issues that I had grown so accustomed to I didn't even think they could be changed. That's right! I had given up on experiencing any kind of change with things like: energy level, moods, sleeplessness, immune system. Right away, Dr. Vance suggested we try tackling some of the bigger problems. I was skeptical, but had nothing to lose--so I said, "Sure, why not!" -Months later, I've got my energy back. -I don't get sick all the time--and if I do catch a bug, it's NBD. -I'm sleeping!! And waking up ready for the day! -I'm in control of my moods, instead of the other way around! ;) Dr. Vance uses a myriad of techniques to address symptoms. He uses lab reports as a starting point, but is more concerned about how the patient FEELS and FUNCTIONS than the numbers on a chart. Dr. Vance has educated me throughout the process, so I know exactly what's going on and why, and I know how to adjust protocols to fix any new problems. WHAT?! Dr. Vance explains information simply, without pretending he's the only one in the room smart enough to understand it! He then belittled all the patients she had supported, had zero bedside manner, won't listen to patients well being and is arrogant. He does not care about the patients and runs it like a shoddy 3rd rate money grab. He has zero skills in endocrinology and pushes it all off to assistants, he doesn't even stay in the room during your visit. Run away from this practice.

He is with St. Luke's in Boise idaho. I checked my electronic medical records to see the notes he wrote about two weeks after the appointment. There were so many false statements and out-right lies put in my record, I couldn't believe it!! He stated I had COVID Pneumonia and Lupus! I've never had EITHER!!! I don't know where he got that information. It also stated he gave me a physical exam.......we were sitting across the room from each other and he never came near me! This guy is incompetent. I wrote St. Luke's about him and gave him a bad review. He's the worst I've ever been to......stay clear of him!

The receptionist Emily really is incredible overall, and does an impeccable job of ensuring that all guests are completely taken care of. Receiving her kind and welcoming greeting each time has been my favorite part of every visit I've had. She always went above and beyond to assist with scheduling and making sure that my appointments start and end on time, in addition to ensuring I knew which packages may benefit me best in the future should I choose to add more touchups or other areas without pressuring me at all.

For some weird reason her lazy a$$ refused to write. She keeps speaking over and over. Yes it makes me angry that I have to repeat it over and over that I'm deaf and write it down!! I was referred to the practice by a patient of Dr. Eric Maier's. I was told that neither Dr…read more Maiers' are accepting new patients (brothers, I believe) so I scheduled an appointment with whomever was available. That's how I met Dr. Axtell. On my new patient appt, he ended up finding a troubling spot on my arm that he had biopsied, which came back as atypical. He needed to remove the rest of it and did that work for free. I probably wouldn't have noticed that spot without him--felt very lucky. He's a great doctor and a nice person. I feel lucky to have found a new doctor that I love (and I'm very picky!!!).
