The administration and teachers are caring and extremely engaged in the community. A very supportive PA gouge which organize a lot of extra curricular activities. Every morning children are welcome with their first name, everybody knows each kid by name and give them the proper greetings. The small classes help also focusing on each child strength and 'need for help'. We really love it.

He loves integrated science and art- where the project based curriculum gets tied into all his other subjects. Last year their 1st grade class studied fire stations, and when construction workers blocked an exit in our home, he pointed it out to me as a safety hazard and we had the building fix it. His learning goes beyond the classroom and basic curriculum. Northside is teaching our son to be a lifelong learner and better citizen!

She has greater cognitive development and is more physical than her cousins who do not attend daycare. I have the upmost trust in her teachers, and while there is sometimes confusion at the end of the day regarding how her day went, I know that if there was anything significant to report, I would have already known about it via phone call. I love the weekly blog updates that I can stalk while at work and the children in her class will get to grow up together in the next class. I am thrilled this school is growing and looking forward to the new facilities in the coming months.

Being the only catholic school in the region, comparisons become difficult. An independent review,…read morestanding from an educational perspective alone would not be reasonable either. An elite private school this is not. However the tuition is beyond reasonable, and a downright steal if you have more than 3 children in attendance. What applies to most if not all catholic schools also applies here. Uniforms required, fundraisers necessary, and catholic holy days and holidays the school is closed. Where this school truly stands out is with acceptance age. They will accept 2 year olds for a full day (8-2pm) as long as they will be three by December. Pre-k 3 is unique to this area, as daycares, not schools, usually service that age range. Also worth noting is the availability of the principal. Not only is she accessible, but intimately involved with most if not all school functions. hands down, great to see! The school itself is very clean, and has many activities available to its students. The staff is very friendly and appear to enjoy what they do. For those who ARE catholics, it is also nice knowing that your children will be learning their prayers and attending mass on occasion, while in school. I feel blessed to be able to leave my 2 year old in the hands of such a caring teacher and structured organization. So far so good...hope its this easy when my child enters college!

One adult is the teacher while the other adult is the teacher's assistant. Magnate school with focus on arts & sciences. Playground within fenced school grounds - only one class let out at a time. Computers/iPads avail for kid use. Dual language program for Kinder. Sounds like fun for the kids. Snacks and lunch provided by school. Streets in the neighborhood are extremely narrow so parking is horrendous and traffic could be a nightmare.
