Ordered flowers for my mother's wake with my dad. We ordered a large arrangement for the casket and 2 for the side podiums. We also added another arrangement to be displayed on a tripod. The flowers were delivered but they missed the second arrangement for the podium. My dad was already upset considering the event so I tried to call the florist to inquire. It was a Sunday and the shop was closed. We had to display a different arrangement that was sent by family friends but it didn't match what we ordered. In general, the flowers arrangements were pretty but the quality of flowers were just ok and they weren't as full as expected. We also noticed some were already brown on the edges at the wake-day of delivery. I feel like they didn't use the freshest flowers. The arrangement on the tripod was much smaller than displayed in the photo book and had lots of welted flowers. We also paid $215 for that arrangement and it wasn't nearly as full as the picture in the book they showed us. Overall, disappointed. I did reach out on Monday and the shop employee was apologetic and issued a partial refund to my dad for the missing arrangement. Not happy that we had to reach out, instead of the shop, to inquire about our missing flower order. Not sure if adding to the order caused confusion. Wasn't given any type of reason but also didn't care by that point. read more

We used St. john's for our mom's surprise birthday party and it turned out great! The place is very spacious and handicap accessible. We easily fitted 60 people without any issues. TJ was very accommodating and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. This venue was roomy, clean, and inviting. You can't beat the price. We will definitely be using them in the future. read more

St. John's does a great job, and the flowers are great quality and long-lasting. I have picked up from them in the past and have had corsages and boutonnières made over the years for various dances for my kids. Most recently, I have ordered flowers for delivery to a friend, and they turned out very well. Also, during the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders, they have been giving another option: porch pick-up. They have various bouquets for $5 on the porch and a drop box for the money. Love it! This has been a really nice touch, allowing for a little pick-me-up during a strange time. read more

They didn't have what I ordered on line. They called right away and worked with to make sure I was satisfied. This was after they had closed. This was for a funeral and what I wanted was not what they had. All in all I was very pleased. read more

couple stars for being nice at first, however I'm very upset to have wasted a bit more than a a month in waiting for a quote for wedding centerpieces. I was reassured a few times that they would get to me and I was overly patient since they would give reasons/excuses for not doing so. I txt, called and and left a couple messages and I was ghosted. I ordered flowers through 1-800-FLOWERS and the arrangement looked NOTHING like the photo online. The first arrangement was wrong and the "replacement" arrangements weren't even close to the picture online. If they're going to pick up an order, it should look as close to the picture as possible. Their floral designer might want to take a floral design class or find a new line of work. Buyer beware. read more

My bf's aunt placed an order for flowers to be delivered for our engagement, and we were left severely disappointed both at the original delivery as well as the "upgraded" one as an apology. Please refer to the order photo of what was ordered, what we received, and what we received thereafter. Please also note the near dead lily and drooping roses in the second bouquet. I purchased a dozen roses at St. John's Florist in Eureka and had them sent to a restaurant to celebrate my wife and my 50th Wedding Anniversary. I ordered flowers for my wife through Avas flowers to be delivered from a florist 6 min. from my house. When contacted that morning, they told me they ( Avas ) decided to change vendors. Strike 1. This vendor, Eureka Florist is 15 miles from my house. Retail value of flowers, over $100.00. On sale for $42.00, what a deal right. The flowers were delivered hours after the original delivery time . Strike 2. I have NEVER seen a more poorly designed floral arrangement in my life. Strike 3. I'm in my 60s, i've seen a few. What I got was worth about $20.00 at most. The stems were all different lengths and stuck in a vase by what must have been a 6 year old. And when I called EUREKA FLORIST, the man was nice, but not even a I'M SORRY. Strike 4. You are really out. read more

I ordered online to have some flowers delivered on Sunday to a funeral home. The order form allowed me to choose a Sunday delivery, and gave me a confirmation number. The flowers never showed up, so I called. The owner was very rude and said that it states on the website no Sunday deliveries. When I asked why it allowed me to choose that, he said he didn't care, because the website states no Sunday deliveries. When I asked where it said that, he hung up on me. I have never met someone as rude as he was. His customer skills were the worst I have ever seen. He really didn't care at all that I was upset by the experience. I will never do business with them, and will recommend that others find an alternative as well. read more

I ordered Mothers Day flowers but they didn't show up. Something wrong with the website. Talked to them and flowers showed up the next day with a card apologizing, they were great about it, and they didn't charge me. Used them before and always will now. Flowers are great too!
