2/13/26 Valentines Eve day. I visited this south side iconic flower shop to pick out my Valentine flowers for my wife. This shop does it all. They do flowers for weddings, funerals, Valentine's day Any occasion you want. This visit was a walk-in I have a traditional red vase I get filled with Valentine flowers and one yellow rose (my wife's favorite). They will work with you on anything you think of and of course have some prepared flowers to pick from if you forget your anniversary. I worked with Jackie, my favorite florist. She had many years of experiences and is very creative and it shows in her work. As a walk-in expect to wait a little bit but it is worth the wait. Walking around you can find balloons, vases,flowers pots, resin stones with famous quotes or religious verses for your garden. I found a few wind chimes too. We had Lesher's do the wedding flowers when we were married decades ago. Jackie and one other lesher rep comes to the wedding making sure that you get all your flowers arranged for the tables if you want .They take pride in creating brides and bridesmaid 's bouquets They stay to fix and adjust what ever they bring so that your special day is truly special. Mother's day flowers delivered on time and look fantastic. My mom lives in South St. Louis and I wanted to buy from a local business. I purchased and arranged for delivery online. Very easy. For reference the item pictured is the Forever Fuchsia at $69.99. The flowers arrived as if they were pulled straight from the website, absolutely beautiful. Last night was my first time ever buying flowers cross-country, and phew, it's not cheap to get somewhere with good reviews! But Lesher's still had decent prices and a good reputation, so I sucked it up and went for it. Ordered at 2 AM, they delivered to the girlfriend at 2 PM the same day and it's everything I could ask for. Not only does Lesher's do incredible floral work, but their customer service is outstanding. They truly go beyond the call of duty. I recently needed flowers delivered to a friend who works from home and it required a little more details in the delivery. This friends schedule is sporadic, she is in and out of her home office often. I asked Lesher's to call and make sure she was home before delivering and they said that was no problem. Flowers were delivered to rave reviews from my friend. Lesher's is on speed dial with my younger cousin who now lives in Little Rock, AR. As he started to reignite a relationship with a girlfriend here in Saint Louis he called his older Yelp cousin for a florist recommendation. He has now used them multiple times, stopped in to meet them when he was in town for a Blues game and is truly on first name basis with the staff. The joys of a Ma and Pa shop with good solid local roots. Oh, the girlfriend Kyndall has loved all the bouquets from Lesher's. If you need flowers, use Lesher's. read more

We hired Leshers Flowers for our wedding and they were FANTASTIC!!!! Stunningly, stunningly, beautiful. My consultant Kathy put together gorgeous arrangements within my price range (which was not high!) and delivery was seamless. My advice is to give your florist a color scheme and let them do the rest - they know what flowers to use to get the most bang for your buck and will go above and beyond. Also, they were able to service my wedding even though I only found them 1.5 months beforehand. I can't say enough good things about them. I live in Los Angeles and have not been satisfied with going the usual route via my in town florist placing the order or personally telegraphing it myself. I shopped on line, called them and the fun began. We went thru pictures they had posted so that l could see what l wanted, what it would cost and was assured l would get what l paid for. We used Lesher's Flowers as the florist for my Grandma's funeral. We really had no idea who to use, and the folks at Ziegenhein's (the funeral home) recommended them, saying they had used them before, and were always pleased by their work. So we ended up going with them, and we all felt that the flowers were not only beautiful, but exactly like we described them to be arranged. The people were helpful and friendly. Taking their time to go over all the details on the phone, while we worked on things at the funeral home. The flowers were on time, and waiting for us when we arrived for the family visitation. I first went to Lesher's to get my wife flowers for our 6 month anniversary. When I first stepped in the door I was greeted by a big friendly dog! What a great first impression. The people there are friendly too. They are also very helpful, nice and create the most beautiful flower arrangements. Also the flowers definitely last longer than flowers I've gotten from other places. I have used them ever since for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and any other occasion for flowers. They always make getting flowers such a happy experience. I ordered flowers on Saturday (4/4) for Sunday (4/5) delivery from their website. I received a confirmation email. Later Saturday (4/4) I received an email saying we can't deliver on Sundays we will get it there on Monday (4/6). I said okay no problem. (weird the website said Sunday was available but maybe it's a COVID-19 thing) this morning (Monday 4/6) I get a call from Lesher's telling me they can't deliver to Bellevue / Swansea IL (website didn't say anything, he didn't say anything when he called me yesterday) because it's not worth the time or money?!?! Are you kidding me? Why didn't you say something yesterday when I had options to correct this? They said well we will give you your money back. I'm thinking damn right you will, you didn't do ANYTHING for me. So now my friend has no birthday surprise because I couldn't order elsewhere. It's just a shady place! We were extremely disappointed in my daughter's wedding bouquets. The day we went there to look at flowers they were doing a wedding for that evening that included purple hydrangeas which is what my daughter wanted. They showed us lovely bouquets of both dark and light purple flowers. We told them that was exactly what we wanted and they gave us a great price so we put in our order. When we went to pick them up the day of the wedding I was shocked to find white hydrangeas SPRAY PAINTED PURPLE. They looked and smelled horrible and didn't even last through the wedding. The corsages for the mothers were so hideous we just threw them away. When I voiced my concerns to the owner I did not even receive an apology. I was told "that's how we always do it and people love it, I don't know why you wouldn't like it". I do not love paying for one thing and getting another. The flowers we were shown when we ordered were actual purple hydrangeas, no spray paint to be found! Do not risk an important occasion like a wedding on this place! read more
