Hi everyone,
**Please read carefully**
I am not going to leave a review because I believe everything that needs to be said has been.
I would urge every single person who has had an issue with Ava's to take action using methods available to consumers in an effort to have this business shut down. The reviews, particularly the ones regarding funerals are heartbreaking. Here are some options so we can collectively protect others from allowing this to continue to happen. These are ordered based on priority and most effective. If we all do our part we can help each other out but only if we do it together.
**Review this list and then skip to the bottom for other options that might be better for each individual case**
1. Cut Off Their Payment Processing (Fastest impact)
File a chargeback with your bank or credit card company.
Include in your report that it's part of a wider pattern of fraud and that you can provide evidence (receipts, failed delivery, unreachable CS).
Encourage others to do the same.
If enough fraud flags hit their merchant account within 60-90 days, the processor will freeze funds or terminate the account, cutting off sales instantly.
2. Target Their Advertising Accounts (Reduces new sales flow)
Report deceptive practices to Google Ads support and Yelp (obviously this doesn't work lol)
Use language like "Paid for product, never delivered, customer service unreachable" and attach proof.
Google will suspend advertisers for deceptive business conduct, and Yelp can flag the business. Losing ads slashes incoming orders.
3. File With Their Home State Attorney General (NJ) (Legal pressure + fines)
New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs complaint: https://www.njoag.gov/complaint/
Attach invoices, bank statements, and logs of failed contact attempts.
Multiple, concurrent complaints increase the chance of injunctions or operational restrictions.
5. File With Federal Agencies (Adds to their record)
FTC: https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/
FBI IC3: https://www.ic3.gov/ if there's interstate commerce fraud.
These rarely result in instant action but build a cumulative fraud file that regulators can use for big cases.
Impact Speed Ranking
Payment processor chargebacks/fraud reports - days to weeks for effect.
Google Ads/Yelp ad suspension - days to weeks.
NJ AG complaint - weeks to months, but can be decisive.
Review flooding - immediate visibility but indirect effect.
FTC/FBI complaints - long-term pressure.
6. Flood Public Reviews (Amplifies pressure & warning)
Google Reviews, Facebook, Yelp, BBB (also not proven too effective in this case)
Keep it factual--dates, order numbers, proof--so they can't claim defamation.
This doesn't directly shut them down, but it scares off new buyers and raises regulator attention.

**If you are not using ChatGPT in your life, you should be. You can start by asking it what sorts of functions it is able to perform followed by specific needs you have that can make your lives easier. (for instance I transcribe handwritten notes and can even take a photo of my refrigerator and ask it for recipes based on items in fridge. All info provided above is based on a simple prompt**
From ChatGPT following a prompt that yielded the above:
"If you want, I can run a payment processor lookup on Avas Flowers right now so you know exactly where to send fraud reports for the biggest and fastest hit. That would put step #1 into action immediately.
Do you want me to pull that?"
And finally, I say this with empathy for all of your unique cases, I reached out to Ava's and made an effort to put my anger aside because more than venting, I just want my goals met (images attached).
We are all aware of how difficult it is to override feelings but these are individual people and although they work for a quite frankly, criminal company, their jobs fielding, angry messages day and day out are difficult as well. We are all just people having to deal with the consequences of a predatory entity with no sign of changing. If we are able to approach it in a collaborative and kind manner, we will all be much more likely to achieve what we need and move on with our lives.
Good luck and love to you all xox
