We recently hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner and needed 14 flower arrangements for the tables. Previously the dinner venue had provided a simple rose...but it changed to a carnation. We live out of state, so I called various floral shops to discuss what I wanted for these tables. I discovered Botanical Designs through their website and photos! I was also able to find exactly what I was looking for! It was a beautiful single rose design -- but truly spectacular! It was also called, "My One and Only" -- so perfect for a wedding rehearsal dinner. When I called to order, they were so friendly, and professional and discussed the color choices and made recommendations, as well. I arranged to have them delivered to the venue. The week prior, I called to update them with the hours the venue might be available for delivery. I spoke with another person at Botanical Designs, who was equally personable and he assured me that they would take care of the details. He was very reassuring. The evening of the event, I discovered the designs were even more beautiful in person and beyond my expectations. My daughter stopped by today to pick up an order for 15 red roses. This was for a guest who wanted the roses for an anniversary dinner at a St Louis MO restaurant where my daughter works. While there, she picked up 1 rose for herself in memory of her "Grammy", my Mom, who was a floral designer in Ohio. I wanted to send a nice bouquet to my daughter and son-in-law. I paid $100.00 plus a $20 dollar delivery fee. Please look at the photo, it's at the end of all these beautiful photos already posted. The bouquet was explained upon ordering as an "all views" mixed bouquet. I don't think I'm being a "Karen". It looks pretty bad to me. I called and spoke with one of the owners. He was very nice and patiently explained to me that this was a "European design", meant to look like wild flowers. I've never seen large clumps of dried brown plants dominating a mixed flower bouquet, especially in an all views arrangement. Again, the owner was super nice. I found this little gem when i was picking up soup for my girlfriend who was not feeling well, and i thought a little flower would brighten up her day. The shop keeper was extremely friendly and helpful. I explained to him my situation and he helped me pick out the perfect flower, which was a yellow gerber daisy. So if you have a date in the grand area and want to add a little charm i definitely suggest stopping by here and picking up a flower. They also have some really nice professional arrangements. He is so attentive and had fantastic advice, not only about flowers but colors for linens and general set up. He stayed within our budget and gave us the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen. When talking with him before the wedding, he never tried to sell me or convince me of anything I didn't want. He just listened and then went above and beyond my expectations. I was looking to send flowers to someone in St. Louis, and found this place via Google (I much prefer using actual local florists vs generic 1-800-FLOWERS-type places). I chose this florist pretty randomly, as I liked some of the examples on their website. I really lucked out! I just gave some vague instructions about what I wanted to spend on a "rustic Thanksgiving centerpiece--like with cool sticks and stuff" and I was so impressed by the arrangement that they put together without much direction. Botanical Design Studio is the best! I met with Dean from Botanical for my wedding and it was my first meeting with a florist. We went through every flower that we wanted to include and got a pretty good idea of what everything would look like. I was nervous about the flowers & centerpieces because I felt like I didn't have the knowledge to make all of the decisions. Dean did a wonderful job of guiding me through everything. When I left Botanical I already had my mind made up that I was going with them and cancelled the other two florist meetings I had set up. Throughout the planning I emailed Botanical and talked to them on the phone a few times and they were always so helpful. When the wedding day came I was absolutely blown away at how beautiful all of the flowers were! I received so many compliments on everything, especially my bouquet! I've bought BDS boutonnieres and corsages for school dances for my kids. Designers are super sweet about matching a dress and packaging them so nice even though it is not a big sale. But when I received a bouquet from my boss from here i was blown away! It was so beautiful and fresh! Each day a different flower opened up and made it a changing bouquet! it lasted a full 10 days and really cheered me every time I walked by. This was special, it reminded me of the excitement we always felt when my dad sent my mom flowers for a special occasion.
