We headed out the next morning at 0545 because we wanted to scoot out of there quickly. Now if we were 20somethings we may not have noticed all the things, now in our 50's we do. The room was clean, super quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. I left the sliding door slightly open so I could hear the rippling creek outside and I slept like a baby! I was even fortunate to see a few mountain goats from my balcony at dusk! This is an older hotel but don't the outside fool you. The staff is friendly, the prices are very reasonable, and the rooms are well maintained. Will definitely stay here again.

The service is atrocious--people just had no idea how to do their job. The prices are ridiculous for what they're serving and the food is mediocre at best. We paid $11 for a 1 oz pour (!) of rosé wine (a bottle of which cannot cost more than $10); $23 for a "chicken cobb salad" with two sad, cold, and dry pieces of chicken, and whose ingredients came clearly out of a can; and $23 for pesto gnocci that was edible, but dull--and way overpriced! This place is a tourist trap. Sadly, there aren't many options in Central City, and Teller House knows it. I'd understand that the place would be expensive, but why do the service and food have to be SO bad? We recommend people bring their own lunch and eat in the opera gardens instead.

Desperately needing to get away with my husband on a ski-cation to our favorite ski area, we looked into booking a room close to the slopes and found this place to be reasonable for a ski-in/ski-out and a sport studio through Orbitz. We read about the place needing updating, but we decided to give it a try anyway. Thursday afternoon arrival and we were allowed to check in early and found out there was covered garage parking! Nice. The whole place is keyless utilizing coded entryways and we were pleasantly surprised to find a clean and cozy room with a terrific kitchenette complete with granite counters and stocked with dishes & cookware. We had unit 1033 and the Murphy bed was amazingly comfortable for two tall people and the sofa had a pull-out sleeper too. The decorations were nice and very homey with an overall skiing/sledding theme. We liked it. The entire resort's workout area was neat and clean as were their showers/saunas. The pool area has a half in/half out heated swimming pool and two large hot tubs. Very nice area, especially after our day of skiing and wanting a hot tub to relax our muscles. Here's the not so stellar items; our bathroom sink did not drain well, the light over the Murphy bed was out and the windows don't open. But nothing horrible. Last but not least is the convenience of an on-site restaurant, La Collina. Over-priced & overcooked and not very good food from a small, limited menu is what we got. Ugh. Underwhelming. Next time we're going into town for much better selections. Overall, we'd like to return during ski season and maybe even summertime, but do NOT eat at the restaurant.

The dining area was large enough for us to dine together and the kitchen was perfect for cooking family meals. The fireplace was wonderful and the private patio with a view of the ski slopes could not have been better. We loved the amenities including transportation to the ski lifts and a heated garage to store our equipment. We did not immediately realize the connection with the resort across the street, Main Street Station, so more details in the BBO book about the amenities, such as ski valet, would have saved us some time the first few days. The complex was quiet, clean, and comfortable with only a few minor details that could have improved our overall experience. We would love to visit this same condo again and recommend staying here to others visiting Breckenridge.

The rooms are a nice size. We had a king bed and there was a table with chairs as well. Dresser held the TV and a large closet was off the bathroom. The toilet/shower are in a tiny room, but provide the services adequately. Shampoo is available at the front desk, and you can get extra towels there as well There are a few dining places nearby. We were worried we'd not have a parking spot when we returned from dinner, but there were several still available.

It was a 5 minute drive in the insane torrential downpour, but we made it. Although I was a little confused about the contactless check in, the amenities were excellent, nice clean beds, several AC units, fans, heaters, a nice loveseat with a comfy chair facing the TV. I was also informed that it is local and family owned. This hotel was such a nice reprieve from the insanity of our drive. Absolutely, positively worth every cent. Definitely consider this over a corporate owned hotel. All that's left to say is, thank you!

George and Rita are kind and gracious people that made me feel welcome and at home. Everything was top notch, from the sheets on the bed to the fresh fruit at breakfast. Rita shared seeds from her garden and George made sure there was a delicious chocolate on my pillow with turn down service. Every room had a private bath and was newly constructed as they added a top floor to their old family home. Awesome stay and much thanks to both of them.
