Every time I've been to this shop they've went well beyond what's expected not only in Service but also an honesty. I've never had a bad experience here and to be honestly when I bring my vehicle in for service I drop it off and leave it with them for as long as they need it. That does two things for me. I'm not pacing the floor waiting for my vehicle and it gives them time to do the job. Less stress for everyone win win. My 2020 Mercedes GLE 450 electric parking brake light wouldn't turn off even though the parking brake was not engaged. We took it in to St George Auto Repair after reading online reviews because we knew what the dealership would charge to repair. The issue was bigger than we thought since a couple months prior, we tried to save money and had our brakes replaced at one of the local tire shops instead of the dealership. Unbeknownst to us, my vehicle requires a computer to reconfigure when the brakes are replaced since my vehicle is literally a computer. Unfortunately, most tire shops don't have that and although I have new brake pads, the actuator motor which controls the brakes and rotors went out. When going over the repairs with the large repair expense. I was frustrated and expressed that frustration to the Service Manager, Eric Mcdonald, who remained professional the entire time as I grilled his ear off. He continued to explain the process and told me the parts had to come from the dealership (fancy brand=expensive parts unique to fancy brand). In comparison to what the dealership would have charged, St George Auto Repair saved me thousands. In the end, I found not only a great repair shop locally with the expertise to repair and reconfigure my car properly, but also provide honest and excellent service. My vehicle is safe to transport my family again and I can't put a price tag on that. They even worked with us on the final bill and that was huge! St George Auto Gallery Service will exceed expectations as they did in our case.. We broke down on a Friday night, I called Saturday morning and was told to bring our Suburban in. We got there, we told them our issue and they were able to start looking into the problem. I have a car warranty service that was able to cover most of the bill I believe the technician was Daniel. He did an outstanding job. Once he looked at it and diagnosed the problem, he brought me out there to show me what he found. He also mentioned that we were lucky, if we would have continued that wheel would have fallen off. Trust me, when I saw all the issues, he was right. On a side note, I am also a mechanic. The repair was going to take a few hours. The manager mentioned why not see a movie. We didn't have to call for an Uber, one of the other techs volunteered to take us there! Once the movie was over and we were eating lunch, the shop called saying that the Suburban was fixed. The same young man came back to pick us up. Once back, the tech went over what he found and showed us the parts where the failure happened. They ordered one part they thought could be bad. They didn't have to use it. To me St George Auto Gallery Service has the upmost integrity when it come to servicing all your vehicles. This alone separates them from other places. I took my truck in for trailer lights issue. Called and got 10:00 appointment. They pulled the truck in right away and opened the hood (for visual effects). 4 plus hours later I asked for an update with no sign of anyone working on my truck. The tech was test driving another vehicle. Finally after 5 hours of waiting and watching, he comes in and said he couldn't find anything wrong. He showed me and we tested it on a trailer they had. Worked fine. They charged me for 2 hours when they had only worked on it maybe 15 minutes. I feel this is a common scam they use. Pull in your vehicle and open the hood then let lots of time go by so they can charge you shop hours for it. The mistake they make is not having blinds on the observation windows so customers can see what is REALLY going on. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have never been here before and will not come back. You walk in the back the first door open in the right was just an office. So after awkward eye content I kept walking. Next door open was the bath room. So I then walked down to the "front desk" and stood there for two employees to just look at me then look back at whatever they were doing. No hello or welcome in... so I had to say hello I need some help. The interaction is as follows 1-have you been here before Me-no sir 2-what's wrong Me-I have a nail in my tire 3-what tire and can I have your keys I have no clue but then this guy just left. I spent the next year going in weekly to get problems fixed. I finally got mad and wanted to trade it for something else and they wouldn't with no reason. I went to my cousin at a different dealership and that is when I learned the truth. A guy didn't get bored with it. A guy wrecked it and bent the frame and they bought it at an auction. I had to pull from my 401K $10K to get out of the hole and be able to trade it in. If you are getting a new vehicle I strongly recommend going to someone else besides this place. Husband and I purchased a 2017 Nissan Murano on Sept 9.2021. The windshield was cracked which is a safety issue and the fender was damaged. After 6 weeks of them rescheduling my appointments 5 different occasions It was finally repaired in Cedar city. I had to keep calling and inquiring about these issues my self. No one from there called to see how repairs were going Justin the sales manager is terribly rude and should work with the public After my last visit down, including wasting my time and gas nothing was repaired. The service dept looked into my windshield to find it was lost in transit. After complaining more Justin in finally agreed to have it done in cedar City I has so much time wasted and wasted gas going up there. Much added stress I didn't need. Wheel well coverings torn and the estimate I got to fix both sides 560.00. DO NOT BUY from this dealer. They're getting cars from mannheim auctions (historically one of the lowest quality auctions) and cranking the prices up above book value. Both times i've entered this dealer, they have treated me like a peasant, and this time was the worst. The inventory manager wouldn't even originally let me drive the car, even though I told him I could show proof of funds. He didn't want to hear it, they profiled me, saying I was too young to afford a $40k car. After that, they said my current vehicle was salvaged, which it is not, it has a CLEAN carfax/title. Save yourself the hassle and only buy from dealers supported by an actual company or buy private sale, rather than a junk, used car lot that is pushing prices up 50% on cars they buy at auction. read more

We were on vacation in St George and noticed a bad rattling coming from the front suspension. I stopped in on a Saturday and they were able to get me in quick and take a look. They discovered work that was just done at another shop on the struts was done improperly. They got the parts and fixed it up great and quickly. Darrell even sent me a message a few days later making sure we made it home ok and the work they had done was still good. I cannot recomend this establishment enough. I was on my way home making the last leg of my move from So Ca to Boise Id in my 20 thousand pound work truck. Driving up the 15 in Vegas I noticed a very scary shuddering from my brakes on a steep grade downhill going 80. It was the day before Thanksgiving. I wanting to get home was in a bind. No way was I going to drive it in that condition. I found them in a search. They could have easily sold me a 2 thousand dollar brake job. And it needs it. But I asked them. Can you just replace the big bolt holding the caliper and can I drive home safely in time for turkey day. They said yes. They had me in the palm of their hands and could have insisted the safe right thing to do is a complete brake job. They said I could drive home safely. They had to call 8 places to find this very big bolt. And sure enough, it drove fine, and I made it home on time for Thanksgiving. I love an honest shop. They are fantastic. read more

This is the worst car repair experience in my 68 years. 1500.00 of work done replacing gaskets and tune up. Everything they did ended up in failure. The replaced gaskets leaked. Had to have car towed back, the transmission leak was so bad. They replaced that gasket again only to have it fail as well. The replaced valve cover gasket leaked so bad oil ended up on engine causing smoke to roll out around the hood. The tune up, well the car ran like crap. I totally lost any confidence in their ability to do anything right, total incompetence. I ended up taking the car to another shop to repair the repairs done by SGAG. read more

This dealership is a joke. I took over payments from my father for my Kia and let me tell you the issues. it ended up not being drivable after only 2 weeks of me driving it, I took it to the dealership because it was under warranty and havent had my vehicle for 3 weeks. Well they had to put in a brand new engine, well the vehicle got finished and they lost the keys. So now I am stuck waiting while they either find the key or get the key replaced. also very funny how i still have to pay a very over priced car payment for the month of November even though I haven't even driven it a single day this month. Very dishonest dealership. They were more than willing to put non-run flat tires on a car that required run flats. Even after having a written agreement that they would put the correct tires on the car they did not. The lady who showed me the car couldn't even answer questions about the car, like simple things, like the model of the car, she just kind of showed me the car fax and expected me to know everything. Bought a car here. They told me they do a complete and thorough inspection of every vehicle they get in. They try to sell you a warranty when you buy a used car because they know they don't inspect anything. A week after driving my car off the lot I magically have a substantial oil leak from the valve covers and timing chain cover. Water pump went out the next week, $700 to fix it. New water pump lasted 3 months and went out again. After pouring a quart of oil in once a month I asked what it would cost to fix the oil leak, $1300. This place is the biggest scam going in St George. Probably dumped stop leak in the engine to get it off the lot without a puddle under it. I wouldn't buy a car from them ever again. Went to Stephen Wade and traded it in on a new vehicle. They gave me more for a trade in than St George Auto Gallery would. read more

I wish there were more stars to give than 5! My friend and I were driving my daughter's 10 year old VW Jetta wagon from San Jose CA to Pittsburg PA. After spending the night in Las Vegas the car broke down just outside of the town of St. George. We frantically looked on our cell phones for a local repair shop on Google. Nathan Hodges happened to answer our call and even though it was obvious that they were tremendously busy and he was on his way out for lunch, he said he would wait until we got there to see what could be done. He made the time to help us and diagnosed the issue in minutes... the alternator needed replacing. Long story short, he moved heaven and earth to source the part we needed and squeezed us in to install it. Not only that, he helped us find a nearby hotel, and gave us a ride there and back! We were flabbergasted that he willingly took the time and effort to bend over backward to help us out a couple of old ladies from out of state. I'm certain that he never got a chance to eat lunch that day. That level of kindness, caring and compassion for complete strangers is hard to find these days and quite frankly, Nate's kindness has restored my faith in humanity. The car ran beautifully for the rest of the trip and we arrived in Pittsburg safely.
