    Why DEI is a waste and EOE is allegedly not enough…read more I went to the new Latham NY location of Zoom tan today March 8th 2026 because I am a regular customer at Zoom tan for the last 8 to 10 years that gets the texts and notices of their deals. The employee there was trying to explain that I must be hearing something that I did not or did hear or that I must have misunderstood everything regarding a previous customer in line that was a few feet in front of me. The Zoom tan employee stated the red light therapy was not working and she would honor a deal/coupon the next time that customer, in front of me, came in at Latham after it was fixed. She took a different approach with me as a customer and kept harping on corporate as far as them deciding what would happen if they would honor a coupon or not. She was also harping that corporate decisions were not her fault or her decision. Most would assume that either she is a manager or pretending to be corporate for her location at that time or that day especially since an employee has to call the manager to get "corporate" approval. Maybe I deserve to be treated as garbage for mishearing something that she did say especially because nothing is that manager's or persons fault because it is up to "corporate." Perhaps she is corporate for all of Zoom tan locations or could not care less about return customers at other locations. Could be that she is under the impression that there is red light therapy at all of the Zoom tan locations or only non customers get the notifications and texted deals? Especially because she was like " what happened" in response to me stating that I just came from another Zoom location trying to use the Zoom deal. But I'd assume according to the Zoom employee that that is "corporate's" action or lack there of like every other example in the conversation today. The conversation ended with mention of a camera behind that employee to which I would say there are also ones in the corners of the location that may have a view of her speaking and the audio would confirm on the one directly behind her at the front desk what she thinks I missed or did not understand. But maybe she will explain to customer service or her upper management she may have mumbled and had every reason to keep blaming "corporate" or a customer for problems. Not sure but maybe intimidation tactics with an employee mentioning a video camera with audio is supposed to help only her? I would also guess it's corporate's fault there aren't two employees working Sundays and it's also corporate's fault the customer line gets four or five customer long every 20 minutes or a couple times an hour. Maybe it is the customers fault but clearly not her fault as an employee? It is too bad because this occurred once before in Latham Zoom tan before they relocated a couple years ago!

There is no one to talk with! Congratulation! Great business idea guy! Amazingly ridiculous scam! I just gonna cancel my credit card!

I felt like I was suffocating in the spray (I did use nose plugs) and the results are pretty awful. See the picture of my splotchy, orange hand attached. The girl who checked me in was very nice but I asked a question to a different girl as I was leaving and she said "I don't know, I don't spray tan" with an unpleasant attitude and basically refused to engage with me at all. I was just asking if there was a way to feel like you were breathing in less liquid but she acted like we were in middle school and she was too cool to talk to me.

Recently they raised their prices to $50 a month without notifying me at all and charged my card on file. I called immediately after seeing the raise and spoke with customer service requesting a refund for that month and a service cancellation. Customer service informed me I could only do that via email - which I did 4 times. 3 follow up phone calls and supposedly there isn't ever anyone who can do anything, there are no supervisors you can talk to - nothing. I probably would have cancelled for the summer and renewed again in the fall like I have previously but thanks to their poor customer service I will never renew and I will also not give any more referrals. Go elsewhere.
