I had the best experience here! They set me up with all of the necessary information to achieve a perfect tan for my brother-in-law's wedding. Comparatively, they were more informed than the Boston tanning places I usually go to. Also, they were such lovely people, so kind and patient, definitely would recommend! Also, my tan was NOT fake looking, totally natural! I washed off the medium express tan after 30min rather than the recommended 3-4hrs and my tan continued to develop into the next day! It also faded so nicely, not at all patchy! 10/10 go here and LISTEN to what they recommend; these ladies know their stuff! Don't waste your time coming here during dollar tan week if you've never been here before. I came here and wanted to take advantage of the dollar tan week promotion that they had going on. When I arrived, I had to be input into the system as a first time client and was asked a bunch of questions regarding my ability to tan, had I ever been tanning, etc. I opted for the level 3 bed and was asked how long I wanted to go for. Being that I have skin that tans very easily, I wanted the maximum time. I was told "company policy" stated new clients were not allowed to tan for the maximum time. Instead I could only tan for 6 minutes. 6 minutes of tanning isn't even worth taking my clothes off. I said OK how about level 2? And was told 7 minutes. Again...not worth my time. I was told that the more I come in, the longer they will let me tan. Thinking I would be able to tan for longer tomorrow I asked if I would be able to do the maximum then and was told no I would only be able to go for 10 minutes. This was really irritating to me and seemed like a bait and switch. They entice you with promotions then when you go there, they try to tell you you can only tan for a short amount of time each day, so that you'll want to come back in throughout the week to be able to tan for longer and spend more money. One of the employees tried to get me to buy lotion which was funny to me. Yea sure..let me lather myself up in lotion for my 7 minute tan... Come to find out, it's not "company policy" as I called another St. Croix location and was told I could have tanned as long as I wanted. So for some reason, the employees here like to make things up and then claim it's company policy. I'm paying to tan, I should be able to tan as long as I want. I had already made the drive out there so I decided to just go with the level 2 - 7 minute tan. The area where the beds are was run down looking and the beds looked old and broken. The doors in each room were cheap.. the doorknob was wobbly and looked like it was about to fall off. I didn't feel comfortable in my room..it felt like a public bathroom stall and the walls were so short that someone probably could have popped their head over and looked into my room. On top of that, I got no cell phone service in the building and was unable to listen to my music while I tanned. As expected, I got no color so I totally wasted my time. Each bed has a jolly rancher placed on it after it gets cleaned, but it's going to take a lot more than a jolly rancher to get me to come back here. I'll stick to total tan. read more

I've recently been feeling bad about my weight. It's winter. I have a child. I'm in my mid-late 30's yada yada. Most of my friends have either started on strict gluten/carb free diets, or have fully delved into the steady use of essential oils to stave off the new poundage women in my age group tend to gripe about. Some have even gone so far to purchase a new 2,000k stationary bike. While all the above seem like fair enough choices, none truly work for my lifestyle. You know what does though? A spray tan from this place. I've gone a few times now and I can honestly say it's good! The staff of young ladies are always friendly. Sure, it's a no-frills establishment but should a tanning salon really be frilly? It takes 5 minutes and a mere few dollars to sport a tan for a week. I may not have physically lost any weight by stepping into a tanning booth here, but I sure as heck feel like I did! Pro Tip: On a cold winter day the tanning liquid is chilly. Clean, always friendly staff, they constantly have some sort of sale or promotion going on where you get products at a discounted price and I get great color from their beds and booths ! read more

Had a very awful experience with the salon yesterday and wasn't going to post anything but I don't want anyone to ever feel as awful and displeased with a salon as I did. I won't go into details but the district manager is very disrespectful and rude. Take your business elsewhere! read more

These are these ratings have been based on other tanning salons and what I hold them highest standards they do not clean well although some of the workers are very nice it's the owner that has gotten greedy and it totally shines through to the business. They will offer you offers that are ridiculous that you already purchased package so you already have that so they are not giving any deals to anyone it's an existing customer. Friendly staff, clean beds and rooms, and they sometimes give you a jolly rancher with your clean towel! Prices are a bit high, so I couldn't pass up a free week coupon. Nice building, good location. read more

They rarely change the bulbs. I've tried this place a couple of times a year; for a few years. What a waste of money.

People they have working for them at a couple different locations including this one are MISERABLE , UNFRIENDLY and UNPROFESSIONAL. The bulbs are weak and place is unclean. read more

I came in for dollar tan week. I am really pale and trying to get a base before vacation. I was in a few times and didn't get ANY color. I am just as pale as I was before. So it was a complete waste of time. They only let me go in for 6 minutes the first day and 8 the second. It seems like they don't change their bulbs. To top it off the girls at the front desk weren't friendly and were rude. If this is a promotion to get customers in the door this company is failing. I will not be back. I have been to total tan. I would highly recommend going there instead, the staff is very friendly and you can actually get a tan using their beds. read more

I will never come to this place to tan ever again. I pay good money and expect good service and products and this place has anything but that. Every time I go there something happens. Tonight was the final straw. I went in and had to stand there waiting to be checked in to tan for at least 8 minutes while two girls sat there finishing their conversation first. I of course patiently waited and had to hear all the details of their disgusting stories one of the girls being the MANAGER!! The so called manager Kaitlyn Job is so beyond rude and crude. She will sit there and discuss her relations with the boss Micheal not only to employees but to customers. I am in shock that this girl can manager herself let alone a salon. It goes to show the kinda people running the show here. It's a bunch of young girls with a perverted male district manager. I can't believe they have the nerve to charge what they do for a tan when they not only have awful tanning beds but awful employees as well. I find this establishment and the people working here very VERY unprofessional. The bulbs I was told (by an employee of course) are never changed, just updated in their computer system showing they were changed when in fact they were not. If you value your money do not spend it here. It is a joke of a business. Total Tan or Zoom tan is the way to go. You will regret giving this place a dollar of your money. So I have been going to this location for a few years now, never had any real issues. However tonight, while I was using one of the beds, I started getting bombarded with flies! Only 3 minutes in, I scooted out and saw the fly on the floor so I killed it. Thinking I solved the problem, I got back in and a minute later, I was getting attacked by another one. I spent another few minutes opening the bed hoping it would fly out, then closing it again, just to hear it frantically buzzing near my ear so I took my goggles off and killed it. There it lied dead next to my head. Finally got out of the bed, another one was on the wall. I understand flies are drawn to light so I wasnt even mad about it, but was a little upset I just spent half of the 12 minutes I paid to get tan solving their bug issue. So I politely explained to to the woman at the desk that I was bombarded with several flies while in my bed, and she abruptly said with a bit of frustration, "yeah, there are flies in here. I dont know why, but theyre here." So then I continued to tell her that instead of relaxing, I just spent half of my time killing flies in there, to which she replied, "thank you, ill be sure to clean that right now." I even hesitated for a second to allow ANYTHING else, but nothing. No, "How can I make I make this up to you?" No, "I'm sorry you just wasted half a session you paid for not actually getting tan, let us give you a session to make up for the time you lost." Not even an APOLOGY. So regardless of any sanitation issues at play here, or standard customer service, I'm most bothered by the lack of any type of response at all. Anyone who has any experience working in customer service knows to apologize if they are faced with a consumer who thinks they experienced a sub-par product/service. This location clearly does not care about their customer or admitting their shortfalls nor do they have any desire to make it right for the people paying their bills. I certainly will not be going back to this location because I do not feel my money is worthwhile for them to try to keep. And if you are considering going to this location, at the very least, avoid going if you see the woman with the long straight redish hair, brown eyes, that looks to be in her early 30's. The other girls are at least sweet to you. This woman will not even waste her effort smiling to you. She certainly needs a lesson on how to be a courteous human being when there are hundreds of other locations that will actually thank you for choosing them. read more
