The apprentice is supervised by a senior piercer, in my case the shop owner, and it was a great experience. We went slow and had an easy paced consultation making sure the placement was just right and would also meet the kind of jewelry I wanted. They were happy to change and mark placement multiple times until I was satisfied and the owner was happy. All in, I paid $90 for both piercings including jewelry plus a tip. They are also make sure to go over aftercare prior to and after getting pierced to make sure you are aware of how involved the healing and care process will be.

Basically, over the night my gem stone ended up in my ear between the holes. Go figure. I contact Anchor's End Tattoo in Hudson. Told them about the issue. They let me know the piercer in Hudson was not in and to look into the River Falls or Stillwater shop. I opted for River Falls. I made the appointment and explained the weird issue. I went in at my appointed time and the piercer was all ready for me. Sorry, really bad with names. I told her what happened. Thankful she had experience with this kind of thing. I also told her if she couldn't fix it, I would head over to "urgent care". She was a complete delight. So nice and kind. She looked at it and was able to get the gem out of there and replaced my earrings with a larger crystal and a longer stem to account for the swelling I was experiencing. Honestly, I cannot say enough nice things about her. This was my 2nd experience there and honestly both were just as wonderful. I really appreciated her getting me in to get this resolved. I had an hour slot booked where I wanted to do a couple smaller memorial tattoos in memory of my mother who passed from ovarian cancer. The nice thing is, I had changed my mind a bit since showing the initial proof to Zion Tattoo when I initially booked. Travis was totally fine with it and adjusted to my wants. I also appreciated how he added his input on my ideas to ensure they looked good upon completion. I was there for about 45 minutes, everything was fast and inclusive. It was an amazing experience in a clean and comfortable environment and I appreciated how Travis kept checking in with me to make sure I was doing alright and was just very personable.
