Yesterday I woke up and had an…read moreissue with my newest ear piercing (apparently I have a problem ear and this time it's my right ear). Basically, over the night my gem stone ended up in my ear between the holes. Go figure. I contact Anchor's End Tattoo in Hudson. Told them about the issue. They let me know the piercer in Hudson was not in and to look into the River Falls or Stillwater shop. I opted for River Falls. I made the appointment and explained the weird issue. I went in at my appointed time and the piercer was all ready for me. Sorry, really bad with names. I told her what happened. Thankful she had experience with this kind of thing. I also told her if she couldn't fix it, I would head over to "urgent care". She was a complete delight. So nice and kind. She looked at it and was able to get the gem out of there and replaced my earrings with a larger crystal and a longer stem to account for the swelling I was experiencing. Honestly, I cannot say enough nice things about her. This was my 2nd experience there and honestly both were just as wonderful. I really appreciated her getting me in to get this resolved. Thank you so much.

Special shout out to Brian Loring for a fantastic job on my piercings. He was fast, efficient and there was just the hint of a sting. Can't recommend SSP highly enough if you're looking for a piece or a pierce. In addition to all that, there are a number of fine art items available for viewing or purchase and three awesome stickers for you to enjoy! Thanks so much guys! I'll definitely be back! I had an hour slot booked where I wanted to do a couple smaller memorial tattoos in memory of my mother who passed from ovarian cancer. The nice thing is, I had changed my mind a bit since showing the initial proof to Zion Tattoo when I initially booked. Travis was totally fine with it and adjusted to my wants. I also appreciated how he added his input on my ideas to ensure they looked good upon completion. I was there for about 45 minutes, everything was fast and inclusive. It was an amazing experience in a clean and comfortable environment and I appreciated how Travis kept checking in with me to make sure I was doing alright and was just very personable. He takes pride in his work and I'd definitely recommend Travis at Zion as an artist and one who especially pays attention to detail - even the smaller detail tattoos - and I will definitely be returning again for more!

ANNA. ^ I saved…read morethat as a draft on April 3, 2026 when I came here. Short summary: Called same-day & Anna was available; texted a text design (one script line + one monospaced line) that I drafted on my phone; was able to come in asap (our hotel was 10 mins away); Anna is super cool to talk to & the tattoo was not only affordable but came out perfect, healed very well, & I will definitively return next time I'm in Minneapolis bc I love this place so much. Story: Soooo I visited MN for a concert & knew I was going to hit up a tattoo parlour. I wrote the top line of my tattoo 5+ years ago, and the second line when I was an adolescent. I'm obsessed w getting tattoos in cities I visit as "souvenirs," but I didn't have the idea to combine these 2 lines into 1 piece until literally that morning. I searched on Yelp (obv) for tattoo places & rly liked the reviews for Guns N' Needles Tattoo. Called, sent my design (which wasn't perfectly centered), and Anna had it fixed + printed prior to my arrival. One of her size options was larger than I envisioned it, and I immediately LOVED it (location: left inner wrist). Anna is so cool to talk to; the time flew by & it honestly felt like I was only there for 3 mins (it was longer than that.) But still quick. An hr at most. I'm so ecstatic that she had printed out the larger version of it bc now the top line (which is in a cursive font I chose) spans my entire wrist & feels even more self-defining. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Verrrrrry clean, organized place. They played some Deftones songs. I kept saying, "Omg I love this song." I don't really know what more you can ask. We parked on the adjacent street. She was so sweet & I felt confident that I could voice any concerns if there were any, etc. Anna gave me printed aftercare instructions and her contact info; my tattoo healed perfectly. I have to say again, I would absolutely return here--in fact, I really hope I get a chance to!!! Thank youuuuuuu!

I even sent a photo of what I wanted and the guy said yes we can do it even with a quote and all . It was a very big disappointment .Because they wasted my time, energy and were rude about it as well .They could've at least just called me the day before and say that the tattoo was too challenging or something. In the end, I got it done, but I got it done at a better shop. I just will never give this place to business because of their lack of professionalism in keeping appointments and not giving enough time if they can't do it they should've called ahead of time to cancel if they needed to. They were not mindful of my time and schedule. therefore, I would not give them my time and money. I would go somewhere else.

I've been hemming and hawing at the idea of getting doubles done on my earlobes (I know, I'm such a…read morewimp) for a while now, and got recommended this place from a coworker who got her cartilage done here. Since my last and only experience getting anything pierced was from Claire's in the 2000s, I really didn't know what to expect other than 1. Don't use guns and 2. Piercing shops probably know better than the teenagers at Claire's. Booking an appointment for a piercing was super easy, and I was able to get one with Katie. I decided to purchase the jewelry there, although I didn't ask if you could bring your own, but I figured if I was gonna be stuck with this in my ears for a while, I should choose something with a more comfortable backing than the pieces I already had. The jewelry is a little on the pricy side, but the fact that it was implant grade titanium as the backing + 14k gold as the ball made me feel assured it was not going to cause any irritation since I had to leave it in. Katie was awesome - she walked me through what the piercing process would entail, the dos and do nots of a new piercing, and aftercare before we even got started. She marked up where the placement would be after examining where it probably look best based on my ear shape, and encouraged me to change it if I wanted to do as "there are no rules to this". The process itself was a lot less stressful than I made it out to be in my head, and I left feeling great about my decision.

A friend of mine had gotten inked here before, so when I was visiting we spur-of-the-moment decided to go back and walk in to see if we could get another, since she had enjoyed her first experience so much. That's also nice- you can walk in a lot of days here and get tattooed. Since covid that can be hit or miss to come by, and having to set an appointment can be such a pain. So, we walked in and they told us (3 of us wanting to get tatted, by the way) to come back in an hour and they'd squeeze us in, and that's exactly what they did. We all got tattooed by 3 different artists, and it was such a fun time. Everyone in the shop is super laid back and just enjoying the vibes and you could feel it. Mitch worked on my tattoo, and he drew up such a beautiful design I couldn't even believe it, but it was the truth. He was so good at listening to what I wanted and making it come to life, even with just a walk-in, smaller scale tat. I really enjoyed Mitch, he was funny and so charismatic and made the entire experience that much better. One bad thing about the Truth is that they are pretty terrible at answering the phone, so if you call don't expect someone to pick up. You have to find their Google Doc sheet to send a request for an appointment and that's your best bet to get set up there if you don't go in person. We really loved our visit to the Truth Tattoos, and truthfully we will most likely be back at some point because we can't lie and say we didn't cherish our time and now forever inked skin, that's the facts.
