Because our guests had a lot of food issues - gluten, nut and dairy it was a real challenge! Stephanie carefully curated a menu that hit all of our requirements. In addition, because we live out of town for most of the year, our decorations, holiday plates and whatnot were quite limited. Stephanie put my fears to rest by assuring me she'd take care of all the details. As the day of the party dawned, we had the place all cleaned up and ready. Stephanie and Mary arrived about an hour before the guests and set to work transforming our little place into a festive, inviting party spot. We had holiday cocktails and mocktails, delicious heavy appetizers and desserts that were out of this world. Stephanie literally thought of everything. All the food was labeled so our guests could choose foods that were best for their food sensitivities. At the end of the party they gathered everything up, helped set aside uneaten food for later consumption and left with very little for us to other than sweep the floor and fall into bed after a very fun and satisfying gathering of friends. As expected, I'm sure some actors are better than others and it's the luck of the draw depending on availability but.. they called me 10 min before they were supposed to begin their performance and said that one of two performers were "stuck in traffic and going to be 10min late"... 1. That was probably false because I heard later she was stuck at another party. 2. I asked if they would be able to shorten their 30min performance to 20 if the venue would not allow us to stay later than our agreed timeframe.. and her response was "well we can just refund you"... What?! I had 12 toddlers waiting excitedly to see princesses. What kind of professional problem solving is that? I convinced the venue to give us a little extra time, even if I had to pay extra. Then the one princess that was in the parking lot finally decided to come in on her own. The "grand entrance " wasn't grand at all. A flop. The second princess finally showed up a little later.. they both looked disheveled.. the performance was so scripted and they were bad at being flexible with the little ones and answering their questions off script. The kids didn't notice but the performance was a 5/10 at best. The singing was fine but they sat on the floor which I thought was weird. They did not crown the birthday girl. They did the bit with giving her a wand. She would have loved the crown instead but they didn't ask me. One of my guests later told me that she had a similar experience when hiring them in the past and them showing up late. I was at her party and I remember the performance being better than this one but somewhat rushed. On top of all of that, the communication before is terrible. You email like they ask you to and no one responds. To speak to someone you have to schedule a call on the website. Would never hire them again. Skip them and save yourself the stress!

My other vendors had a hard time coordinating with her and appeared disgruntled towards her. understandably so. I met with Aaren about a year before my wedding date and during our first meeting I really think we hit it off just right. I felt like I was talking to someone who truly "got me". I think Aaren knew that I was a Type-A (OCD) bride and she was able to calm my nerves. During our meeting she explained to me the different packages they offered. I knew I wanted a day before/day of person, but I also liked the idea of having someone help out during the month off for all of the other things. I wanted to do all the planning, but I needed someone to do the implementation. It was a done deal. I left that meeting and I knew I needed Aaren in my life! Soon after our first meeting I called her to confirm and sign a contract! It was a huge relief for me to know that I had Aaren. She made me feel at ease. Throughout the process I e-mailed her questions about etiquette and I kept her up-to-date with other vendors. I knew she was keeping a folder so whenever I had an update I would send it her way. I would like to think I wasn't a needy bride, but I know there were times when I started panicking for no reason. Aaren always calmed me down. By the week of my wedding I had a ton of items and decorations to drop off with her. I met her in her office and talked through my "vision" and provided her all the items she needed. She also had all my other vendor information and told me she would be in contact with them for the timeline of the event. I did not need to worry about anything! Honestly, it felt great to not have to worry about anything. I think I did a good job of just letting things go. Aaren and 2 assistants arrived for the rehearsal and had all the details confirmed for the next day. By the day of the wedding I was actually very "chill" since I knew Aaren and her team would make sure the ceremony and reception were set up correctly. She was my point person for the day and did an awesome job at handling all the day of things. By the time I made it to my reception the everything was set up just as I had hoped. Aaren really did listen to me and she made sure everything was just right. I knew I could trust her to get things done right. Again, as a type-A person it was hard to let go, but Aaren was the best person for me to trust. I didn't even worry about anything. There were a few minor issues that came up throughout the day, but with her help no one knew anything! It was flawless and my wedding was everything I had ever imagined it would be. Thanks to Aaren and her team for all of their help and assistance to help make my wedding day magical.
