This place is totally unassuming from the outside. The inside is massive with plenty of seating areas and spaces for having a fantastic time. There is something for everyone. My favorite game was the life size battleship game. Took me back to my childhood. There is also a small arcade with classic games. Ski ball is one of my favorites. There is a full bar available. There is a small draft beer list, a fun cocktail list, several cam options, and spirits. Our bartender Julie was so friendly and helpful with the menu. If you're hungry they offer NY style pizza. Playing games will definitely work up an appetite.

Located in St. Charles Mo. Private parking lot. Nice spacious open building. Plenty of stations to play games. Staff was very friendly and inviting. Funny wall signs that make great conversations pieces. Clean and clear of clutter. Variety of games and no wait times yay! Games I played where Giant Pong where you split up in two teams and throw your ball across the room in the opposite team trash cans to score a point. The corn hole is same method but you are throwing bean bags in the opposite team hole. Both challenges I lost lol, air bowling was fun as well , with this game it's the same method but it's ten bowling pins you are trying to knock down on opposite teams with a football. I won :). Ping pong was fun as well along with Jenga. Pizza was our lunch and it was cheesy and fresh and delicious. Plenty of drink choices, we went with twisted ice tea, angry orchard, sprite and good ole Bud Light. FYI if you are trying to take under 21 kids . Hrs vary. Saturday hrs are noon -5p . Check directory. Over 21 crowd is recommended in the later hrs of the day. I did attach the daily hrs schedule. This a a good family outing to bond with your children of all ages.

I came here with some coworkers and it was a good place to hang. We came on a Saturday night and it was no very busy. Since they weren't busy there wasn't a long line at the bar. Rec hall has pizza that looked/ smelled good. My group ate before we came so we didn't get any. This place is very casual and chill with lots of different games to play. My group really liked the bocci ball! I went after we had a lot of rain and the ceiling was leaking in some areas. We wanted to play giant beer pong but it was leaking in that area so we passed. Overall, Rec hall is a chill place to come and hang out with a group.

To start off with when you book the private room you STILL have to pay an entry fee. If you're the one booking at least I think you should not have to pay especially due to the cost. Pros: They said you could only get in thirty minutes prior we were lucky and no one else was in the room so when we arrived early, due to no traffic, they let us in and so many employees came to help us unload THREE CARS! The bartender we had was very nice and super bubbly! There is a lot of seating and tons of tables! We needed another and they brought us one within five minutes. They let you bring in STORE bought food! Cons: there are staff members in an out of the private area so not really private. They were hauling their personal food in and out. They were standing at the bar in the private room (you get your own bar) on their phones often. The bartender wasn't always available so we'd have to walk around to get service. There's not a way to unload so you have to park up front and carry everything to the back of the room. We were doing a fundraiser event so I wish they would have had a special for us but understand they can't. I'm sure a lot of people ask! I also wish there were games in the private room I think this would be an added plus

How have I not heard about this place or been here yet? I love places like this that have big games for small or large groups. It's a great price to get in and then to check out any equipment they just hold your drivers license. They have a full bar and a fun cocktail menu! All the games are super fun and there's games everywhere you look! Such a great spot for date night, out with friends or colleagues!

Absolutely loved rec hall, it was such a unique spot and super fun. We played connect 4, ping pong, cornhole, giant battleships, and so much more. I love the vibe with the lights on the ceiling too. They have pizza you can order and the bartenders were great, especially Kenny and Julia, I would highly recommend getting served by them. Overall it was a super fun experience and we'll be back!

First time going to this location - I've been to another similar facility before. Fun, but definitely be choosy about the time you go. If you have a small party, it might be best to visit earlier in the day or later past peak hours. Larger groups tend to hog the games. Other than that, it's a fun place to chill and have fun.

Looking for a fun and interactive night out? Rec Hall STL is THE place! For $5 entry fee you get unlimited games, like giant pong and bags. They even have specialty cocktails like logo Rec Hell water bottles filled with rum or vodka and different mixers. Wednesday nights are also famous for meat bingo, which is exactly like what it sounds like! Rec Hall STL takes game night to a new level.

This place is big and there are tons of games. And shout out to weeknights half off drinks with a college ID (I think- at least we got that in a Thursday) we came here fir a children's miracle network event and participated in a giant pong tournament. There was plenty of space for activities and games galore. Cool place good to hang out with some friends. *NOTE* they don't sell food, but you can bring in food from other places and there is a really good chicken place across the street that I can't remember the name of. Or you can door dash food there. Tons of options.

    I call it Trash-ball... Had a blast!

Great use of space! Over the years I've seen this spot as a grocery store, convenience store, and then vacant. It's nice to see something creative and lively in the area. Rec Hall is owned by the same geniuses that brought us Recess. If you enjoy "adulting" in a playful atmosphere, then stop in. There is an array of traditional games with a modern twist.

They should specify on their website when they say minors aren't allowed after a certain time they actually mean under 21 and not under 18.

This place is fairly easy to get to, although parking was a bit tricky (I parked on the side and was unaware there was more parking on the other side of the building); also, I was unaware this was place was shared with an event space. When you first walk in, you'll see a sign for the event space upstairs and the 18 N Central place below. There are several computers for you to sign in (which consists of retrieving your info, picking a username and swiping a card (which I believe you can use for next time) and is also given to you from the front desk. The activities determine where you go. Since we were doing laser tag, we walked around the corner and were given a brief set of rules and instructions. Then we were assigned a team, our gear, and led to the actual laser tag area. We played a series of games and it was cool because throughout the games you could see your shooting percentage, kills, and etc. I had no expectations since this was my first time ever playing laser tag, but my competitive side refused to let me come in dead last. All in all, I had a great time. My only constructive criticism is to slow down when giving the directions. While it seemed like most people had experience, it was intimidating for those who didn't, especially when it came down to doing anything with the gun. Additionally, it made me feel like I was in the military for a second because the guy was talking so fast and made it as if he didn't want/need to repeat himself. The bright side, there is a bar and they serve food, so you can always people watch, too!

Party room is solid and functions well for the needs, but it's the kids climbing area that is of value. Over 10 separate walls of varying detail, obstacle climbing spots, plenty of automatic repel machines, counter walls, and even interactive obstacles like build your own block walls. Only drawback is ventilation within that children's climb area as it gets hot quick and even if they bring in a box fan, it doesn't circulate the whole room which is what's needed. The main climb area is well cooled and ventilated so I really don't understand why that one specific area is so bad.

A great bouldering gym! We were visiting from DC so here is what I wish I knew about the gyms…read morebefore researching myself on the r/climbing subreddit on Reddit and other sites: This location (Chesterfield/West County) is basically a bouldering gym. It's located in a large strip mall which also has a Goodwill thrift store on the other side. Very little top rope climbing (just one wall). I believe the Maryland Heights location is supposed to have more top roping but we didn't go there. Day passes were kind of a teeny more expensive than I was hoping ($20) but if you can return again at all the memberships and class packs sound like a good deal. They also were running Black Friday sales for the weekend and those seemed good too but we couldn't really be around to take advantage of those. We were there Sunday early afternoon and there was no one else there. People started trickling in around 3pm and by 5pm there was a healthy crowd there, but still pretty easy to get on a wall with almost no wait. The kids seemed to be having a great time in the "Wacky Wall" area with the auto belays. It has a separate reservation portal/system and separate pricing. There's also a small private room off to the side for birthday parties and events. The climbing "cave" was pretty cool but damn do the holds need to be brushed. Slid off (probably because we rented shoes as well) more times than I'd like. Pretty challenging routes and a good variety of routes too, but I'm not sure how much they reset them. The wall whiteboard said June 2021 but that didn't seem updated. The fitness area was decent but I'd maybe become bored if the area became crowded with more people using it at peak hours. But since I wasn't planning on becoming a member, it was perfect. :) Locker rooms and showers were a little dated and old (women's side, I did not see the men's) but fit the requirements. The lockers have their own electronic locks with instructions on them, but I couldn't get them to work/many of them were locked. It didn't matter much to me since I wanted to keep most of my stuff in the cubbies out in the climbing area anyway. Wish we could come back to the gym more than once this trip but I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

One in which she received 2nd place-Overall Gymnastics among her team as well as the other competing teams. Following, this meet her Level 1 Junior Olympics team coach Maggie thought it was appropriate to write Laila a congratulatory notes calling her Miss Bojangles!!(Please see the note attached). To say we were appauled, outraged, and shocked would be an understatement. What hurts the most is that in speaking to Laila and educating our 8 year old on the history of Bojangles, racism, and many other topics Laila expressed feelings of hurt, and extreme sadness. How do you explain to a child at 8, that everyone that says they like you and are a proud of you unfortunately aren't. Thankfully, I am a Mental Health Counselor and know how to treat Trauma. On Tuesday, March 15th I promptly emailed @All American Gymnastics and Super Ninja St.Louis owner Susan (Sue Renshaw) and below is her response. As you read it it says nicknames are given for team building purposes. Also, noted if Laila was hurt we apologize. No sincerity, nor accountability. It is absolutely apparent that Sue's lawyer wrote this document for her. Sue references how she was so looking forward to Laila continuing with them. I can name 3 reasons she was. 1. Laila always brings home individual scores of 35 or higher, 2. She is an awesome gymnast, and 3. We pay our financial obligations and show up and show out everytime. Sue's self/business accountability looked like releasing us from the remaining 2 months of financial obligations and not allowing Coach Maggie Coffey the opportunity to explain her choice of nickname. Also, Maggie has never referred to Laila as this name in front of myself or any other family members.
