I came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and while I was unsure of how it would go, I had a great time. This place is fairly easy to get to, although parking was a bit tricky (I parked on the side and was unaware there was more parking on the other side of the building); also, I was unaware this was place was shared with an event space. When you first walk in, you'll see a sign for the event space upstairs and the 18 N Central place below. There are several computers for you to sign in (which consists of retrieving your info, picking a username and swiping a card (which I believe you can use for next time) and is also given to you from the front desk. The activities determine where you go. Since we were doing laser tag, we walked around the corner and were given a brief set of rules and instructions. Then we were assigned a team, our gear, and led to the actual laser tag area. We played a series of games and it was cool because throughout the games you could see your shooting percentage, kills, and etc. I had no expectations since this was my first time ever playing laser tag, but my competitive side refused to let me come in dead last. All in all, I had a great time. My only constructive criticism is to slow down when giving the directions. While it seemed like most people had experience, it was intimidating for those who didn't, especially when it came down to doing anything with the gun. Additionally, it made me feel like I was in the military for a second because the guy was talking so fast and made it as if he didn't want/need to repeat himself. This place is no joke. If you are looking for family relaxing fun this is NOT your place. 18 North Central is for hardcore competitive ICombat players. The staff takes the game's extremely seriously. The cost has been raised to $30 per session but it is still worth it every time. iCombat is a blast. Like paintball, but without the paint or the pain! Great to go with a group of friends.

This isn't anything like the wimpy laser tag you've played before. This is full-on COD type gameplay with realistic M4s, mag changing, co2 recoiling guns. Large play area resembles middle-eastern architecture. Fun times. Oh. And beer afterwards. Don't forget they have axe-throwing, and demolition ball too. Great place for a party. Man, this is a hard one. I want to support small businesses, especially when the actual service they offer is awesome, but these people really need to learn some customer conflict resolution strategies. I mean it's just sad how little they care about their reputation. The one star reviews are going to pile up over the next couple years and they will be out of business unless they start acting a little more professional. My wife made 5 reservations, one person didn't show up but we knew that the policy was no refunds so we accepted that we would have to swallow that. We had a friend that did show up with us, we told the owner that we were together and he told my friend that he needed to make an account and then preceded to walk him through buying an extra ticket! He was supposed to use the reservation code. Maybe my friend is just dumb but long story short we ended up donating $60 to this place and didn't realize until after. I called and explained my situation calmly and asked if I could get a refund for that one ticket or at least a gift certificate. They told me that I would have to drive back that night at nearly 10pm to pick up a certificate in person. I said fine. I show up and then the owner is a complete dick to me and doesn't want to give me anything. This is after I drove back per THEIR request. Everything up to this point was just business, poor business but business, but this pissed me off. I had to argue with him for a few minutes before he slapped a $10 certificate on the bar and told me to leave. Seriously this is the craziest experience I've ever had with customer support in my life. I hope instead of this review convincing people to not go to this business, instead it will teach some of their staff how to treat customers and communicate with them more professionally. The games are a lot of fun. Laser tag is next level and can be fun with the right people playing. If the management and staff weren't so unprofessional and rude it'd be a place that I highly recommend. I've been there 3 times and each experience was met with frustration and disrespect from the employees who are suppose to help you through the check in process. We went recently for a celebration (with people who have never been) and suffice it to say that it was a very unfortunate experience where the manager yelled at a number of our group members who were having trouble registering. All in all, the games are unique and fun but it'd still be nice to be treated with an once of politeness or professionalism when learning the ropes of the games you're paying to play. read more

It's great playing with friends, family and other customers, but it is not cool to play against employees that have an unfair advantage. Also, their password reset feature has been broken on their website for years and does not send you a link to reset your password it's just a link to finalize your account, which just takes you to their login page. When I called in the guy who answered hung up on me after telling me to sign in when I got here and said he had to take another call. Weird. If this place would work on customer service and fix their website I would give them five stars, but do not realistically expect them to change anything as management gives the appearance of stubbornness and don't seem to respond to feedback from what I have seen. read more

I had a good time, although allowing the veteran players to play in the beginners mode is ridiculous and detracts from that. A player stood at the end of hallways, hiding his sensors and swearing furiously on the occasion someone figured out how to hit him. This place was so fun definitely would recommend for big groups to go and play games that don't take too much physical exertion. *caution make sure to either bring cash to pay separately or plan ahead who's going to pay the full amount for the whole group they have a really difficult time splitting it up and you will end up spending a long time just paying. read more

I will never be back here because of Kieth. This was an absolute horrible experience with him from signing in, he was a dick head and refused to help us sign in. To the lobby where you watch the training video, he threatened to kick me out for asking 'hey what is your name'. And then threatened to kick me out again for not holding the gun up, but in reality. I missed the first round because he took so long getting us set up, even though I was there 20 minutes before the game (he refused to help). And then once we got in he kicked a teenage girl out for talking trash to another player/worker (the workers play) and even the player/worker did not understand what was going on.. he said she did nothing wrong too. Then between rounds as he explained the next game he cussed around little kids. During matches he was walking around puffing his nicotine vape. I told him before we left I would leave a review with my experience.. and he started laughing and said 'they'll never fire me jokes on you, ill never lose this job' ... well good Kieth. I hope you keep the job and work at laser tag until you retire. I will most definitely not be back if he is there. This was my worst ever experience for a family game night because of him alone. I have gone out a lot of times and Kieth was absolutely awful... this was horrible. no other way to describe it. read more

Very affordable, and they were very accommodating to our needs as an agency that supports people with developmental disabilities. We will definitely return for future events. Been a few times. Guns didn't work most of the time. Tried to speak to managers on site in order to get help and they were very rude. We brought a full group of 20 people there and filled up their game. We ended up contacting the owner of the facility and he didn't care at all about our poor experience. To call this simply laser Tag would be unfair! I went with a group of about 20 people so we had a full party. It was a blast! You actually have to strategize in certain combat situations. There are a variety of different game modes to choose from and all of them will have you sweating your butt off if you actually immerse yourself in the experience. This place has been a great time every time I have gone so far, and I have gone about 6-7 times, the last time i went, was the only time I would say that this company does not deserve a 5 star, my last session I went to this establishment could be my last time there because of a worker named Keith. This worker completely killed the mood of being in the game and was very rude and disrespectful to many people during the session I was there including me. One of the things that really bothered me is Keith asked me to put my vape away, and I instantly said ok that's fine I will put it in my locker with my stuff before I go in, which I understand and was planning on complying with no issues. Before I walked into the backroom, I was asked 3 more times by Keith if I had put it away, which i just found a little unnecessary and not customer friendly. Which made the matter even worse was when the game started and I see Keith himself walking around hitting his vape blowing out a cloud of smoke like it was perfectly accepted. This was one of the many issues I had with Keith, as he was also cussing in the play room where their was many little kids that were playing, and I do not know if they have a policy against cursing, I just thought it was very unprofessional. Then later into my session, someone was aggravated with Keith, and said something about leaving a review and Keith took it as a joke, and started laughing saying u " u really think they would fire me" like he was someone that was untouchable a and was above respecting other people. I just felt that the worker Keith was very unprofessional and truly do not think i will be able return if he still able to work their, I have had a great time going to this establishment every other time I have been their but the one time I been their w Keith working I would not recommend and it was like it was a totally different experience. Overall, if you want to go to this establishment I would call ahead and make sure Keith is not working because without him you will have a lot better of a time than with him. read more

We had our company Christmas party at 18 N. Central. Though the name sounds deceiving, this place has Icombat which is similar to laser tag and what we'll call demolition ball. The staff is great. The food was great. And overall it was just a fantastic night. I am so glad we found a place like this to have our company functions. I know all of our employees were very appreciative of Mr. Moss and Mr. Summers and all the hard work they put into making such a great night. If you're looking for a place to have a company party or just a place to go and have a good time. You should consider 18 N. Central. read more

You couldn't ask for a nicer group of people than those who own 18 North Central. We had our school's prom in "The Loft" which is their event space. They really went the extra mile to ensure everything was right. I would definitely use them again. read more

Omg this is so awesome!! I will be honest I was scared at first when my neighbor suggested it. All of us neighbors on our street went (6 families) all the small kids stayed home and we all had a blast. We loved it and it went faster than what I thought the time went. Couple things to remember when going: Wear dark clothing so you can't be seen Wear a hat cause the headband piece has been worn by others and gets sweaty I'm going to invest in some black golf gloves so that when I hold the gun I won't get any blisters on my hand All of us neighbors have said we would totally do it again cause we all loved it read more
