NO hassle getting to and from airports, passing security etc. Business class is a real pleasure. Lounges in both cities are modern and stocked with magazines/newspapers/coffee options etc. Wagons have been refurbished and the seats are very comfortable. Basic wifi worked perfectly (yes, there is a restriction on usage ie. video playback, uploads etc.). Food was totally acceptable and the service was excellent. I have also traveled in standard class....and it is fine although the wagons were not as nice. Quite a bit cheaper than business class. VIA does not have dedicated rail...so you might have to wait for a train to pass but it usually doesn't take a long time. Most of the trains I have taken were on-time and even a bit early. IMHO this is the most pleasant way of traveling between these two cities. Book on-line and book early to get escape (cheaper) fares.

We went west on Amtrak and had to board at Depew [Buffalo] to continue westward to Chicago, then transfer/board another westbound train to the West Coast. John who contacted me back was extremely professional. He went over Covid protocols for going into Canada and back to the US. Even gave us good times for pickup to make it back to the airport on time. We did find out the two days before the trip that passports were not up to date. Contacted John and he made all the changes for us. Now for the night of the flight into Buffalo. The plane got delayed into Buffalo by about 60 min, so we are now a little after 11 PM to land. We get to the baggage claim area and meet John (not sure if it was the same John as on email). He was amazing and friendly. We waited for our bags, and it appears that one of our bags did not make it with us. John patiently waited with us while we went and filed paperwork with the airline. John still made the night special for us even with all the problems. John got us into the limo and the ride was amazing, he even offered to stop and get us something to eat because everything was closed nearby. The pick-up from the hotel was perfect too. John picked us up in the SUV for the return trip. The car was still amazing and the drive was smooth. Had a great talk with John and he was able to talk about all the history of the area. Not being from there it was extremely interesting. This was an anniversary trip for my wife and me, and we felt like VIPs the whole time. I could not have asked for a better experience. The bus serves as a shuttle in a sense (was a simple ride to any desired location within the Niagara Falls attraction). The bus made runs throughout the day - picking up/dropping off. Best money we spent. Note, though we absolutely loved the convenience of riding on these first come, first to be home buses, a couple of the bus drivers didn't seem too nice.

We purchased an adventure pass that includes 2 days of wego bus use. They have an unlabeled parking lot we had trouble finding that we were able to use with our pass and then take the bus to other stops. With the passes, it's really easy to scan and hop on. The drivers were very inconsistent. Some were all business and got us quickly to our next stop. Others spent a half hour just sitting at a stop fielding questions from people. Every time I thought we would finally go, someone new walked up. The buses were supposed to arrive every 15 minutes but not every driver stayed on schedule. These delays caused us to miss our aero car time, although we were able to reschedule to the next day when we finally got to the stop. My suggestion is to plan for a lot of time between attractions so you don't miss anything due to wego delays.

If this is the kind of crap service that your new transit is offering then I suggest thay you revert back to the old Niagara falls transit, cause it ran a lot better than this. Don't know why there are so many negative reviews... all of the cab driver go through criminal…read morescreenings and the person who said "they got kidnapped" must have a few loose screws because the majority of people who are taking Central Taxi now of days either have a disability or mental issues and these poor taxi drivers have to deal with it. Also 9 times out of 10 the negative reviewers are probably the same ones who live off the governments money and are on Welfare checks while these innocent taxi drivers work night and day to provide a service for St.Catharines and Niagara region. I've had nothing but amazing experiences from Central taxi and will never use another cap company, they are loyal, friendly and amazing people who love to have conversations. As a clearly disabled woman, you would think that they would be more helpful. Some were, some were not (so much so, that I didn't even get in the cab with them). I have to admit that I don't even bother to call Central anymore.
