I couldn't be any happier. Friendly and professional from start to finish. It was definitely worth the nearly hour drive to their showroom. Once there, Lisa took the time to thoroughly explain each different type of glass door and the different models and options available. I had been to several other distributors, and no one was as thorough as they were. No pressure whatsoever to buy from them. Their prices are very good and competitive, and the owner Michael, was very accommodating. The installers, Bob and Shawn, were prompt, thorough, friendly, neat and quick. I'm glad I did my research before hand and found their company. Definitely a home run! read more

SSD Glass - Door Sales/Installation Near Me - Newton, New Jersey

Cannot speak to the quality of their work. Was very much hoping to use this company based on others reviews. Called 2 weeks ago to schedule appt. for shower door estimate, was told they may be in next town same afternoon, she would check and call me back, never did. I called today and was told that 2 weeks ago they were too far away to come, and they would not be able to come here at least for next few days because too far. The woman had a very unpleasant tone on our call. Just tell a prospective client if they live too far away so they can find other resources. Very disappointed. read more

I have had the Pleasure of working with Superior Shower Doors 3 times now, and their name says it all, Superior!!!! I bought a townhome in 2013 and had it gutted and renovated. Superior shower doors did the glass shower doors in both of my bathrooms. These doors are gorgeous and surpass any quality doors i have seen in other peoples houses whom have upgrade to glass shower doors. The glass is thick and sturdy, shatter proof as well! The glass is clear as crystal, and hinges and accents you can chose from are stunning. My glass i had treated with shower guard, so its easy to wipe down and keep it spotless. My showers are literally the show pieces in my bathrooms. All that being said i am OCD with cleaning and keeping things in my home as new and beautiful as i can. I recently had 2 seals that needed replacing, mostly due to excessive wiping and cleaning, sometimes even with bleach, which you are NOT supposed to use on seals!!! I put in a call to the company all these years later and told them my 2 issues and was wondering if they could just send me replacement pieces and i could put them on myself, as i lost 1 of my 2 jobs due to covid and money is so tight for me. I wound up speaking to Lisa who is a doll, and she got me through to Mike, the owner, and he understood my issue and didn't make me feel bad about my lack of funds at all!!! Instead he said im a great customer and they would be happy to stop by when in my area doing a job and replace the seals for cost!!! What a wonderful business man and simply a kind human being!!! He sent over Steven and Sean yesterday, the seals are replaced and looking amazing!! The guys saw how clean my shower was and made sure this time i had seals that come off and can be easily put back on the glass. Now i can take them off and clean them with some light vinegar and water instead of bleach to keep my hard water stains away!!! Im very excited over this new way to clean!!! Both of the guys were amazing, clean, fast, knew their stuff big time and very respectful of my home. I like them even more bc they kept telling me how clean and pristine my shower doors were after 8 years!!! Thanks Guys!!! Steven also took the time to razor off replace some clear caulking in 2 areas where just from humidity over 8 years, wasn't looking as strong as it once was. He also razored off all my hard water stains before replacing my sweep at the bottom of the shower door. They did all this for cost as promised, and did the most perfect job!!! Moral of my story i bought from the best shower door company out there and no one but them will ever be doing any repairs in the future. Once you have the best you need to stay with the best!!! I am thankful and feel very blessed for what Mike, Lisa, Steven and Sean went out of their way to do for me during a difficult time in my life. What a wonderful company and what wonderful people!!!! read more

I unfortunately had a very bad experience with SSD. I found the whole experience frustrating and would not recommend them. I don't remember having such poor correspondence and follow up with a vendor. The prices are high, the customer service is low. I would suggest to the owner to fact check the emails before he gets on the phone with a customer. Professionals find solutions and have meaningful conversations . My last interaction with the owner was aggressive, immature and disrespectful and I would suggest looking elsewhere. read more

Put in 14 shower doors for us and each one is perfect. Great to work with would absolutely use them again. Could not recommend them more.

I had gotten an estimate from Superior Shower Doors for a glass sliding door on a tub shower. I had included them among the bidders because I had used them before at a previous home and was satisfied with their work. A week after the estimators came and did a thorough job of measuring and explaining the type of doors and assembly, I received a quote for the project. The estimate was good for 30 days. I called them two days later to accept their offer and to let them know that I would be mailing the deposit that day. About an hour after I had called, they called me back and said that the glass that they would be installing required a special handle and that the amount would be $175 more per door. I will not do business with people who will not stand up to their written offer. They are the ones who have been in the business for ages and should know what the glass requires when they submit an offer. They basically told me to take it or leave it. Very unprofessional. read more

I couldn't be happier with the work done by Superior Shower Doors. They installed a beautiful semi-frameless glass door for us when we did an addition to our house, and it's perfect.
