Our consultant, Diego Avila, did a fantastic job explaining the product and, more importantly, the company's commitment to quality. I expected to pay a premium, but the pricing was very competitive and the execution was nearly flawless. Our Project Manager, Bryan Szydelko, was excellent. He kept us informed at every step and provided a huge relief by showing us actual color samples on the wall before we committed. The 'secret sauce,' however, is the crew. They were incredibly experienced, explaining how they remediated repairs and suggesting where to best use specific colors for the most impact. My wife and I are thrilled with the results and highly recommend Genesis!

Dan has a LOT of fantastic ideas and experience to do a quality job! Kathryn has an eye for the details (thank goodness, 'cause I don't). Shane is super efficient with demo and remodeling. Sara can see how everything can come together to meet the client's needs and Enloe (I am probably spelling his name wrong) is knowledgeable and skilled with plumbing and electrical. Dan will pull in his resources to find answers to questions we have if he doesn't already know the answer. This is a wonderful family-run business with an exceptional team of people who enjoy working together and love what they do. If you can get this team of professionals to take on your dream remodel or build your home (big and small), you will be very happy with the service and care they provide. I will update this post with before and after pics and review when they are finished remodeling.

Some trim work, siding with Z-bar, and three short seconds of barge rafters with minimal osb (roof sheathing) in two small sections. Easy stuff if you know what you're doing. He came out and did absolutely terrible work. I told them they need to have people out here with more experience and they did slightly better. Still have chipped trim, cracked siding from screws, didn't do the barge rafters or roof sheathing because they would "lose their license" and still took them a week to finish which was originally quoted for a day. They ended up sending 3 other guys to finish the work and demanded more money than what was originally quoted. So don't hire this company. I would have done the work myself but ended up selling my tools so couldn't. Overall very disappointed in this company.

I hired John Friendly to do a challenging job: creating a narrow walkway on uneven ground with…read morevaried configurations of already-mortared second-hand and broken bricks. He kindly fit me in to get the job done before last week's rain hit--and not only did he do it in record time, he did a fantastic job, leveling the hard ground perfectly and fitting the uneven bricks together in a beautiful vintage look, creating a very nice pathway that is even, solid and secure underfoot. He went above and beyond, too: Even though I didn't think to ask, John added two very useful details (at no extra charge) that showed his extreme attention to detail and professionalism: He lined the sides of the pathway with small rocks to improve drainage (which worked like a charm in last week's rainstorm), and he curved the pathway to prevent me from conking my head on the protruding swamp cooler (which I've done too often--no more now!). And to top things off, because he got the job done so quickly, he charged me 30% less than his original (very reasonable) estimate! John Friendly not only lives up to his name, he does an fantastic job with extreme expertise AND extreme honesty. I'll definitely be calling John for any other work I need done, and feel very lucky to have found such a stellar handyman.
