I have certain physical limitations, and Kelly is very conscientious about working around those limitations. Not only does she teach Pilates, but she also offers yoga, barre and healthy cooking classes and demos. I went to one of her raw food demonstrations yesterday evening and had a great time watching Kelly prepare a protein smoothie, a Glowing Strawberry, Mango, Avocado Sprouted Salad and, best of all, her Raw Walnut Cacao Bars, which were heavenly! The salad called for cilantro, which I'm allergic to. Not a problem at all--Kelly just served me before putting the cilantro in. As a paying customer, I requested that another news station be setup (they did have MSNOW but turned it to MSNBC then changed it to Fox). It is difficult to avoid seeing the programs during a half hour workout. The staff said they were unable to change it and when I asked a second time, the woman just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I asked in FB messenger and got no response. I do not think it is fair to impose political opinions on customers. I will not renew membership.

The "employees" for the most part are retirees who were coincidentally members of the gym prior to their employment there. It's a welcoming, fun, friendly atmosphere to get fit in. The ladies that posted these hurtful, negative reviews apparently have expectations from somewhere else. Kimberly, the staffed hours are on the door. Do you regularly go to a business that has their posted hours 8am-7pm at 9pm or 6am? Energy Gym is accessible for use by members 24/7/365. I suppose you expect them to pay someone to staff it at 3am in the hope someone wants to join a gym at that ungodly hour. Margaret, really, you went during posted staffed hours and no one was working. I call BS. You both sound quite like entitled whiners that should just stay where you came from. I went in to Energy Gym for my usual 7:30am workout. Saw many of the usuals but the number of people working out was double because of the number of visitors there! So Kimberly, you drove 30-45 minutes to either West OC or Millsboro. And Margaret, honestly what local gym, if any, did you join that has the classes, equipment, terrific staff and friendly members Energy Gym has? Your loss ladies.

It is freezing in there and very uncomfortable to workout in…read more You are supposed to be able to work up a sweat in a gym...not bundle up with layers so you can't move freely. Drafty, no barrier or vinyl separation so every time the door opens, it lets 30 degree temps inside. Also, heavy duty chemical use and smell inside....I was told it was so they didn't have to smell the sweat. Are you kidding me...so we have to work out in a fumigated, febreezed zone, that sets you up for blood cancer. I won't be re-newing my membership. My husband and I are looking for a bonafide, comfortable gym to work out in...not a heavily fragranced tundra.

They bought this gym a couple of years ago and basically shoved more equipment into the tiny space…read more It just makes it feel more crowded. The took out the leg presses and added more chest equipment that are barely used, The old owners always had someone walking around and cleaning the equipment, now you get people sitting at the desk talking to each other. The physical size of this gym is small maybe you can expand it on the back side 20 feet it would make a big difference.
