I was worried about not being able to find the class on the beach and was relieved to see a big sign and wagon upon arriving. There are yoga mats available but chose to use my own. She also had water bottles, sunscreen and bug spray available. The class itself was so relaxing. It was very easy to follow while also being challenging in a good way. I loved the dialogue along with the stretches. Some instructors talk too much and it can take away from the relaxation. I will definitely be back next weekend.

There was a small group of women in the class for this Sunday night candlelight hot yoga session. The instructor spoke with us very calmly and encouraged everyone in their practice. Coming here to this studio was a wonderful choice for getting back into yoga because they are so friendly and helpful. The session was calming, and an amazing way to begin your work week. Something positive and relaxing on a Sunday night. Super excited to have found this studio, and can't wait to visit more frequently.

She was totally organized about planning everything in advance and was creative about helping plan a class that worked for our diverse group (non yogis, yogis, and two pregnant mommas). Kim is the coolest, was on time, and everyone in our group LOVED and RAVED about how much we loved it for the remainder of the weekend. Can't recommend enough- loved every bit of working with Kim and Ocean Vayu Yoga!

Rhonda was a great instructor and understood that none of us really have done yoga before. She explained as she went through the motions and showed us difference moves so we really could get a feel for yoga. Having 7 of us in the class was really nice because Rhonda could walk around and fix our poses if we were doing them incorrectly. Rhonda also provided mats and water bottles which made the 7:30am much more relaxing not having to get that stuff together. I visit Fenwick Island often and am excited to try their Boot Camp and other beach sessions. Thanks hipAHA; we had a blast.

Lora meets her students inside the Gateway Grand and then walks them either to the beach or in a small room when the weather is not cooperating. Unfortunately the day I attended it was raining but I was happy to hear that I could still practice inside the Gateway Grand, especially because I am not a resident of the condo community. Each class is $10 cash and it is collected at the beginning of class. There is a side street available for parking but be prepared with coins because the side street is metered. Class is on Fridays at 8:30am to approximately 9:30am. You also need a yoga mat or beach towel (I prefer a towel if I am practicing on the sand), water and sunscreen. I only had the opportunity to attend one class but it was very beginner friendly. I did not really break a sweat, but I was able to stretch, relax and meditate. During the final savasana Lora asks if you would like some essential oils sprayed on your wrists and/or an eye mask to help you relax. I choose a chamomile-lavender spray but declined the eye mask. On the website, it seems that she is expanding and offering SUP yoga. I wish I could try it out myself.

The owners appear to be conservative news viewers and have setup the TVs to cast only Fox and Newsmax for news programs. As a paying customer, I requested that another news station be setup (they did have MSNOW but turned it to MSNBC then changed it to Fox). It is difficult to avoid seeing the programs during a half hour workout. The staff said they were unable to change it and when I asked a second time, the woman just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I asked in FB messenger and got no response. I do not think it is fair to impose political opinions on customers. I will not renew membership.

The "employees" for the most part are retirees who were coincidentally members of the gym prior to their employment there. It's a welcoming, fun, friendly atmosphere to get fit in. The ladies that posted these hurtful, negative reviews apparently have expectations from somewhere else. Kimberly, the staffed hours are on the door. Do you regularly go to a business that has their posted hours 8am-7pm at 9pm or 6am? Energy Gym is accessible for use by members 24/7/365. I suppose you expect them to pay someone to staff it at 3am in the hope someone wants to join a gym at that ungodly hour. Margaret, really, you went during posted staffed hours and no one was working. I call BS. You both sound quite like entitled whiners that should just stay where you came from. I went in to Energy Gym for my usual 7:30am workout. Saw many of the usuals but the number of people working out was double because of the number of visitors there! So Kimberly, you drove 30-45 minutes to either West OC or Millsboro. And Margaret, honestly what local gym, if any, did you join that has the classes, equipment, terrific staff and friendly members Energy Gym has? Your loss ladies.
