While staying with us at the shore she has time off from her gym in Pa. We have taken her to Art of Gymnastics & Cheer here in Rio Grande, NJ. The staff is funny, friendly and very talented. Last June we were able to attend the Art of Gymnastics recital. Whoa! What a performance! Those children are amazing! The school really stresses technique and flexibility. My niece was not very flexible when she first started, now she is one of the most flexible at her gym in Pa! The prices are so low it is crazy! We pay about HALF of what my sister pays for my niece at her gym in Pa. The school offers dance classes (which my niece has jumped into) as well as cheer classes. They have great weekly summer camps too! This summer they are offering full day camps all summer long. So, we are extended our niece's training. We highly suggest you check them out. They have a small gym (compared to others we have seen), but I guess as they say "good things come in small packages!"

Even though camera footage was not properly reviewed in full to ensure responsibility for all actions were assumed, the owner of this establishment let us know that our family are not to set foot on their property. We were also informed that we would not be reimbursed for the remainder of the month for the courses that we have been forcibly dropped from. If you would like a good gymnastics/cheer experience, I would advise you to look elsewhere from this establishment.

The majority of instructors are teenagers that couldn't care less about "instructing." While dropping my other child off at soccer, the owner called to say that she was pulling our daughter out of the middle of class because there was an issue with payment. She had been enrolled for nearly a year without hiccup and was owed multiple makeup classes. When this was politely stated, asking if she could please finish the evening's class while the error was corrected, I was told no. There was zero warning except for a single email - quite literally, a minute before the phone call. Fortunately, we were able to take care of it within ten minutes, I'm completely baffled by the lack of professionalism. What kind of place humiliates a child in this way? I highly recommend checking out Easton or Annapolis for a more professional center.

Just so filthy…read more.. This place is beyond dirty. Cobwebs everywhere, stained broken furniture in the waiting room. Green stuff growing on the water fountain. The toys in the waiting area are just gross. The bathrooms are a mess, the floors are filthy. The smell of feet and "other things" hits you in the face when you walk in the door. I was afraid my child would get a staph infection if he went back. I spoke with the owner and was told "I'm doing the best I can" and that "it was clean 15 mins ago before class started". Not likely. There are thick layers of dirt and cobwebs covering this place. I just expect better for my children and we will take our time and money elsewhere.

I'm not sure if cleaning the mats and equipment would help, but it surely wouldn't hurt either. Always wash your hands when you leave since the kids hands are in the same places as their feet when kids are doing flips. prices are the cheaper than gymstarz and the coaches are nicer than gymstarz too. so bring some airfreshner and a fan while you watch your kids flip and climb.
