Day 2, the team ran on stage and the music blared loudly..."What the "f_" are these "n_'s?" Fill in the blanks. Everyone was shocked and appalled. Again no apologies from the owner. We unfortunately arrived after the visitor center closed but called before it closed to ask for the passport stamp to be on a piece of paper and left outside for us and they DID!!! Also Included was a brochure with two stickers of the local wildlife. The horseshoe crab is the official marine animal of Delaware and plays an important role in Delaware Bay ecosystem. Also a sticker of a red knot. It's one of the longest annual migrating birds on Earth traveling up to 9,300 miles and during their spring migration most of them can be found in the Delaware Bay region. It was nice to enjoy the auto tour. We did hike up to one of the observation decks for a video and view but it started to rain so we took advantage of the paved auto tour. Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge protects one of the largest remaining expanses of tidal salt marsh in the mid-Atlantic region. The refuge, located along the coast of Delaware bay, is mostly marsh, but also includes freshwater impoundment and upland habitats that are managed for migratory birds and other wildlife. Established in 1937 as a link in the chain of refuges extending from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. It is primarily a refuge and breeding ground for migrating birds and other wildlife. The value and importance of Bombay Hook for migratory bird protection and conservation has increased through the years, primarily due to the management of the refuge and the loss of high quality habitat along the Atlantic Flyway. When I saw that Brecknock Park had a wooden playground, I figured I had to check it out. The park is absolutely beautiful. There's lots of open space for throwing around a frisbee, jogging, picnicking, playing soccer - you name it! There's a small garden area to walk through that has the plants and trees labeled (always nice to get in a little outdoor education). The wooden playground was everything I'd hoped for - very well-maintained, lots of different jungle gym options, and I got in my obligatory swing set time on a nice, sturdy swing set. Whether you live in the area or are just passing through, I'd definitely recommend spending some time at this park. Wish I could have enjoyed it longer! I'll absolutely plan on stopping by again next time I'm visiting that area.

The male owner of this gym has been sexually assaulting underage employees. Who knows what could happen with the kids that go to the gym (I wouldn't be surprised if that comes out at some point). I would not send my under age kids here, or have them anywhere near this sick, sick gym owner. read more

They wanted us to buy from Vendors selling water at $5.00 for one bottle of water!!!! The tournament was Very disorganized, they didn't check rosters of ages even though every parent had to upload current pictures and Passports for check in 2 days before tournament but when questioned on field they said and ID Check was $100 dollars additionally for roster check, every category used A lot older kids in almost every single bracket in example kids for 2014 used kids from 2012/2013 categories and when questioned referee said wasn't his problem and didn't wanna hear anything from coach or manager. That's just in one category as an example!!!! It's all a money maker tournament! Their "All Stars" group that are their own collected kids that paid EXTRA to be in their own managed groups are the preference and preferred groups!!!! We wasted so much money in entrance fees, parking, vendors etc. The tournament Administrators they updated schedules at crazy hours of the day and sometimes without complete notice. When questioned rosters of opponent didn't have or said they are fine and inconsiderate. Every team that wasn't "All Stars" had complains and some of us drove 2-3 hours to go to the tournament!!!! Everyone in the complex Adult wise Men that were playing "adults were drinking alcoholic drinks in public when we told security they said they are premier teams and it was fine" bad attitude from organizers to administrators. Will never come back! Left a bad review on their Facebook page and what they did was block my account to get rid of my bad review and comments! Due better DE turf complex it's all a money hungry tournament that don't care for the safety or wellbeing of the kids only what brings them income. We had a kid dehydrate on field and since no coolers were allowed by coaches or managers by the time the parent bought a drink from the vendor the kid was worse off!!!! Awful awful tournament! The complex is beautiful but horribly run by the tournament!!!! Will never be coming back! DE turf complex shouldn't host this tournament Ever Again! Due Better DE Turf Complex I think next year No one that isn't administered by the Delaware Cup teams will never come back!!!
