Several children needed to use the bathroom and the young lady that works at the ranch had no idea where to find toilet paper. Otherwise the ranch seems to be a very fun place and you can tell that the ranch hands take pride in what they do there.

When we arrived, my husband explained we were a family of five, including our baby who is 9 months old. Instead of simply charging the admission, the man looked at my daughter and said, "Wow, she looks big for 9 months." This was not an innocent observation--it was a shady, backhanded way of suggesting we were lying about her age so he could charge us. For the record, my daughter is absolutely 9 months old--small for her age, no teeth, not walking, sitting in a stroller with a pacifier. His comment was unnecessary, insulting, and immediately set a negative tone. If the policy is that everyone pays--even infants--then state that clearly. Don't make rude remarks about a child's appearance or insinuate dishonesty. I even offered to pay the $6, but instead of being straightforward, he backtracked. For a place that depends on families visiting, this kind of treatment is unacceptable. If you choose to come here, be prepared for a rude encounter before you even get inside. We won't be returning, and I would not recommend this "zoo" to anyone who values basic respect. To the owner: your mouth is bad for your business, friend.

Even though camera footage was not properly reviewed in full to ensure responsibility for all actions were assumed, the owner of this establishment let us know that our family are not to set foot on their property. We were also informed that we would not be reimbursed for the remainder of the month for the courses that we have been forcibly dropped from. The fields are always taken, though, by leagues. It would be nice if there was a track here and an outdoor basketball court. There's a recreation center in this area that is free to residents of Dover, and $3 for non-residents. They have schedules online on when they have open gym for basketball and volleyball for youth and adult. It's never packed and the front desk receptionists won't let you deviate out of their schedule even if the gym is ghost empty. Definitely should allow for more flexibility because the schedules really suck.

The course is in good shape, with a nice layout. There are challenges plenty to tackle, although the course is relatively flat due to the local terrain. If you are not affiliated with the US Military, (active, reserve, guard, retired, or civilian employee) you probably can't get on to play unless you come along with someone who is.

The man next to me had ordered the pulled BBQ meat sandwich and I could see a huge chunk of meat that looked dried and day(s)-old however I could not confirm it was. The treed grounds in back visible from the dining area was gorgeous and wish it wasn't raining so I could walk about and snap pixs of the gorgeous trees. I believe this camps leadership is engaged with increasing their oversight however they are also aware of the sneaking out culture. If the counselors are all allowed to be away from tents at the same time, sneaking out and in our experience sneaking in to each others tents will continue to be an issue parents will want to be aware of. We aren't sending our kids back this year.

Place got packed quick so reservations would help, got that personal attention he needed he's only 11 so any help in his batting technique was appreciated. It's not insanely expensive based on the service provided and a really nice facility they obviously invested a few dollars in building a top notch sports complex. We will be returning.
