I went here for years. When the dispensary opened I noticed they were focusing on making cash . As…read moretime went on Dr Sam's was there less and less and I was often misdiagnosed migrated and generally misled by the NPs, Dr Sama eventually agreed to be my primary care and that I could ask for him as 8 often felt stigmatized or afraid and would be told that others had been wrong or find it later that taking a certain supplement for a deficiency I was misled to believe I had was won't because I ended up with high levels of iron. I read offered B12 shots when I know I always had enough b as it read in the high yet acceptable area. When I had Coco's and was given the antivirals which relief in a rebound I was given apcr test and told I never had Coco's because I had no antibodies which Dr Sam's said was not a correct diagnosis and was clearly an aisle and judgement of my character. This Dr has no control over his practices and is only available on office two days a week in different locations that are difficult to get to during crisis. Being lied to our doubted and denied treatment for Coco's when my aging father had it as well. I needed help many times I got documentation of my long COVID yet couldn't get documentation from my therapist with Dr Sam's knew of my mental health issues. Much of the time I took medicine I was provided just out of desperation in a couple situations they were ones I realized could Jill me with the meds I was on. Recently I was overdosed on a much stronger need in the same class. When I looked up the dosage or was clear that this was a very dangerous mistake no MD should make especially knowing of been out of my other meds which is never had issues with and that I was reluctant as if felt that the drug he was giving me was a pretty high dose. I trusted him and then was not myself for days and believe I have been having committed mood swings and side effects. The Dr waited days to tell his NP he was playing telephone with to go to the er because he said he's set me up with my old meds and have me a three day supply while he knew I was already having a housing and mental health crisis which he did nothing but as insult to injury. After prescribing drugs that affect me adversely and increase the despair and goldenness I went to him to. I told him if all the issues and bad referrals he and other providers that didn't work out had given me I even had one every me as a patient then start to insist o hasn't sent in paperwork and make up that I was on two meds or was like drug seeking because my MD kept giving me a med that want helping at all. This business is not practicing ethical treatment they need to be reported and maybe of I can keep it together I will. He has caused pharmacies and other prescriptions to look at my prescriptions and decide on drug seeking probably because it's never constant and I have been allowed actual treatment or the benefit of a doubt. The surgeon general's here needs to fix things. The lack of defect cars is timing my life. And my shirt to help my father or deal with his symptomatic outbreaks because mine are just wise than ever.

The receptionist said I could come in right away since they accepted walk-in patients on an ongoing basis. The waiting room was busy and noisy. I was taken aback by a rude sign next to the reception desk admonishing patients to keep track of their children. The receptionist was courteous. I couldn't believe how quickly they were turning around patients since the reviews I'd read of Dr. Kumar mentioned his thoroughness. I waited about 20 minutes to be seen, which I thought was reasonable. A nurse sped through my initial assessment without a single pleasantry. When the doctor walked in, I was very surprised because it wasn't Dr. Kumar. She introduced herself as Suni Jacob. I assumed she was an M.D. but now see she is an APRN. No one felt compelled to tell me that a nurse and not a doctor would be examining me. Had I known, I would have made an appointment elsewhere or with Dr. Kumar for a later date. Suni's eyes glazed over as I explained my symptoms. She dismissed my concerns, answered my questions tersely, and showed no trace of bedside manner. It was clear she wanted to get me out of there as soon as possible. If my experience is any indication, this practice gets away with providing substandard care because their patients have limited options. I have never received such poor medical service.

All 3 visits she referred me to the hospital ED with urgency. Her suspicions were correct and I required immediate care. I found her to be polite and listened to my symptoms . My huge complaint is the wait time, regardless if you are an established patient with an appointment. Their walk in vs. scheduled appointment system needs great improvement. It appears that having an appointment has no benefit. Had an 11:00 appointment and waited until 11:55 while walk ins prior to my 11 appointment were called. Very frustrating. However, their office hours are accommodating to the working patient.

Ended up hanging up on me when I called yesterday. Also, the office wants to charge you ahead even before billing to your insurance to see what you really need to pay for visits or services like EKG etc. Once they made me pay for an EKG and then my insurance paid them too. so, they Got paid twice for the service and never heard back from them. I had to double check and call them & they wanted me to go to the office in person in order to refund me my payment when they already had my CC information. Another issue, they don't send statements neither call if you have a balance pending. How are you supposed to know if you have a pending balance or where to send the payment payable to who? etc. I really tried to stay in the office because the DR. is good but to have a hard time every time you need something is not good at all.

Dr. Fahmi has been my physician for nearly 20 years and was also my mother's PCP until her untimely passing from Leukemia. She is compassionate, thorough, and a consummate professional. I am a licensed medical provider and have never felt uncomfortable, unheard, or in doubt about her care. I have known Lourdes, her medical assistant, equally as long as she is truly a gem of the practice. I'm seen right away and have rarely been in the waiting room with more than one other person, at most 2 or 3. Are there times when there may be a longer wait? I'm sure of it, but this happens in every facet of healthcare. Dr. Fahmi is an excellent choice if you are looking for a competent and caring medical provider.
