I ordered the fried pork and stew chicken with rice and peas and plantain. Both meals came with a side salad. The food was packaged well and arrived nice and hot. My boyfriend and I decided to try Sr Marie's per our goal of supporting more black-owned restaurants for Black History Month. We were not disappointed! The food was plentiful and delicious. I tried the mushroom rice which was a delightful surprise, making it a perfect complement to the stewed goat meat that I ordered. We also had meat patties which were so savory and delicious. The portions were generous, providing us with enough leftovers for several meals - incredible value for the price. Shoutout to the hard-working women in the kitchen, their homemade Caribbean cooking was so satisfying and filling. The place was clean and cozy, despite being primarily a takeout joint. I'm deducting one star because I would have loved to see more seating options for dine-in customers or more ambiance/decor. read more

My aim for this month is to focus on reviewing black owned businesses to support Black History Month. Sr Marie's was highly recommended by longtime Fall River residents and it was delicious. The service was fantastic. Our food came out very quickly. It is a good thing they mostly do takeout orders because you will definitely need the containers to take home your left overs. My one meal served as two dinners and a lunch there was so much food. Needless to say the amount of food for the cost means this is incredible value. The actual food was delicious! My favorites were the meat pies, which had a good kick and the fried plantains. My coconut rice went perfectly with my stewed meat. You could actually taste the coconut. This will definitely be a go to for late nights at work and weekends when I want to just live off leftovers all weekend. You can watch the ladies cooking the food. This is their passion and it gives the food a home cooked flavor that can't be beat. For a place that clearly mostly does takeout the tables were clean and the space comfortable. I was told by a friend of a friend of this spot. I was very disappointed and as an Haitian myself I thought it would be good over even more. The pastor was nice there and gave us free samples. They had traffic in the restaurant but once we got our food. Which I was really disappointed because they messed up on my whole order. Which I requested white rice and sos pwa, with goat which I received and I always got a Ju Mango. The juice was watered down and it taste like they reuse the same oil for everything which you can taste. But the service and people there was friendly I hope this helps someone read more

I have ordered for my work team twice from here and OH MY GAWD! The pork plate and chicken plate are both AMAZING! The pork my personality favorite. Similar to the pork in Portuguese dishes like pork & little necks but with a crispy exterior and a melt-in-your-mouth flavor explosion on the inside. The brown rice with beans and the black beans in sauce are so good that it is my benchmark for a rice side going forward. In my last order I placed for 13 people the proprietor made a dish special for me to try on the house... basically all the elements of the pork plate but goat meat in place of the pork. I have had goat at game dinners in the past. You eat it and its pretty good and you're like "hmm, this ain't half bad!" This goat was absolutely phenomenal! Some of the most tender, not gamey meat I've ever had. I cannot recommend Sr. MARIES enough. If you're looking for something different from pizza or Chinese one night, try some Caribbean Cuisene from Sr. Marie. I promise it will be your first of many visits there! read more

The food is good! We had the turkey, the legumes we had the white rice, and the rice and beans, we also had a grillot, each meal came with a salad. We waited a bit for the food, it was very busy.
