    The Meats pizza
    Kathy D.

Food- tasty deep dish pizza. Ordered The Meats. Was a bit greasy. Also ordered the peach Boba tea. Yummy. Service- good, efficient. Took about 20min after ordering. Ambiance- none. One table for waiting inside. This is a takeout place. Price- $30. We could share between 2 people.

I'm a pizza lover! New York-style and Neapolitan have always been my favorites. But now I'm here for Detroit-style too. Squared Pizza is the new fast-casual pizza spot in Bon Air Center in Larkspur. For anyone like me, who is not familiar with Detroit-style, it is not Chicago-style. Yes it's made in a deep pan, but their homemade dough turns into a lighter, focaccia-like crust. It's airy and chewy, but also crisp. I stopped in quickly recently and met owner, Joe, who is excited to be serving/feeding the community. I didn't have time to order a full squared pie so ordered a square slice to go - love that they offer slices. My pepperoni slice was delectable and satisfied my savory cravings. I look forward to trying more on a future visit. They offer a few arcade games inside, to play while you wait. Fun! Sit inside or outside, or take your pizza to go. As others have mentioned, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they do NOT accept cash or credit card tips - they pride themselves on paying fair wages to their staff. If you want to leave a tip, share a life tip, and ask for one in return!

$65 for undercooked pizza and Brown salad. The Pizza had good flavor, but was Doughy and under cooked. I won't be going here again.

Ordered a grip of their wings for a birthday party, it was a hit! The pepperoni pizza is legit fire, unctuous with the frico, airy crust, ooey gooey cheese, bright sauce, and crispy pepp.

Garlic Parmesan Wings. Sadly, this was a big miss.
    T C.

We came specifically for their April special, which is the mushroom and prosciutto pie. That was a winner and absolutely delicious. We also decided to try the Garlic Parmesan wings which was a big miss for us. There wasn't much garlic Parmesan flavor to begin with, and sadly the wings were not crispy at all. We had to ask to cook them a little bit longer, hoping that it would elevate the taste for us. The second go around did not make it any better. Just come for the pie.

Cute written note on my box.

That was my first time coming here. I love pizza so I wanted to try somewhere new. As you walk in, you placed your order with the cashier. Also note there's a QC code that you could scan to join their loyalty program and save five dollars. I chose a pick your own pizza with more toppings as your limit, it was $30 (you also have the option of how you like your sauces none, on the bottom on top or both.) It does take some time for the pizza to be cooked because it is Detroit style. But since the location is in a strip mall, there's plenty of other places to visit while you wait for your pizza to be done. I got my pizza, we decided to eat outside because inside the store there's only one large table and one arcade game table top. There is some seating areas outside. If you plan on eating the pizza with others, you might want to ask for a plate, napkins and get a knife and fork, this pizza is hard to hold and eat like a traditional pizza it's very hot and also kind of greasy. The pizza comes in a square shape. It's cut into fours and it could probably feed 2 to 3 people depending on how hungry you are.

Great pizza!!! I didn't know we needed a Detroit style pizza joint in Marin and I'm glad it's here! The pizza takes a little while to cook but it's well worth it. I recommend getting a Pepperoni with pesto on it. I do not recommend loading this pizza up with a ton of toppings, can be kind of messy. This is 100% a restaurant that will be in my rotation of food spots I go to almost frequently

This Sausage pizza is so delicious!

We keep going back for more. This Sausage pizza is incredibly delicious! Four big square slices are perfect for 4 people, or two very hungry people. You must try it!

Couple of thick slices wings and bobba!!
    Pablo A.

Square Pizza it's the new hot spot for deep dish in Marin County this guys definitely know what there doing! The pizza it's so thick don't be fooled by the size (9x9) it's a heavy hitter lol all the ingredients tasted so fresh and the jalapeños with honey glazed have a great kick to them, the bobbas, chicken wings are also really good ! tThe restaurant it's clean organized and the owner and staff are very welcoming lets support the small businesses and continue to bring places like Square Pizza into our community! Thank you Joe for the great hospitality and food!! I heard there's beer coming soon too stay on the look out for that!!

    Pepperoni!
    Scott S.

Had our first pizza (pepperoni) from Squared other day and it was very good. If you like your pizza on the cheesy crusty side and a little bit oily you will love this. I'm not one of those people who's only about one kind of pizza whether that's New York or Chicago or whatever. Just get the pizza you like. We spoke to who I think is the owner and he's super friendly. I'll be back in a month or so to see how things are going. I wish him luck. Some additional drink choices would be nice but they may already have that in mind and I'm pretty sure he's waiting on his liquor license for people who want wine or beer. And they have free to play arcade games while you wait!

    Suraj P.

I was really impressed with the pizza here and will definitely be coming back! Usually square slices I have had are on the smaller side, but this was not the case here. The slices were all loaded up and one pizza is definitely enough for two people. Each one has lots of toppings and the veggies were all super fresh! The staff was very friendly and brought out our pizzas to our table outside. There isn't much space inside but it was decorated nicely and they have multiple menus to help you decide what to get. If you haven't tried Squared yet you should absolutely go there!

The vegan pizza was delicious I wish the picture did it justice. I got a vegan cheese pizza with vegan meatballs, some veggies, and vegan hot honey!! Highly recommend!!

An employee tried to explain it when we arrived, but after we chose to sit inside, we were first seated in the wrong area and then moved to the back where the pizza is served. Not exactly the smoothest start. The food was good, but a bit pricey for what it was. We ordered the mushroom pierogies (which was misspelled on the menu) and a pizza. Both were tasty, but neither was memorable enough to make me feel the prices were justified. Service, on the other hand, was very good. Our server was friendly and attentive. The strangest part was the seating. We were placed next to a service area hidden behind a curtain, except the curtain did nothing to block the noise. We could hear all the conversations going on behind it, and there seemed to be a lot of unnecessary drama happening back there. It gave the whole meal an oddly uncomfortable vibe. I have an allergy and she checked with the chef to ensure what we wanted to order did not have the allergen. The food was delicious, I wish we had one in South bay. They have their own house-made chili oil which was really good, just a bit too spicy for my tastes (as someone who doesn't eat too spicy things), but my boyfriend enjoyed it. We ordered the Stella Pinsa (Mozzarella, crescenza cheese, prosciutto parma, and seasonal mushrooms), Ghiretti Panino (Prosciutto Parma, Fiordi latte mozzarella, fresh tomato ,arugula, evo), and Stracciatella Gilato. The stella pinsa was my favorite, the panini was equally as good and the tomato and arugula added freshness. Heather informed us the pinsa is their dough that is proofed for 48(?) hours, so it tastes a bit like sourdough. We were also told that their gelato flavors rotate and they make it in house too! We were there about 5:30 so they had the back and front doors open and it was beyond pleasant with the breeze and soft light coming in the restaurant. The atmosphere felt a bit impersonal at first, mostly because of the mall setting and the QR-code ordering system, but the friendly staff helped make it feel much more comfortable once we got settled.
