If you have a disability no matter who you are military or not and need a service dog. they DO NOT make you feel welcome first they charge you 200 dollars deposit for the dog which is against the Americans for disability act they also make you give them your papers so they can make a copy which also goes against the ADA. Even when the owner was talked to she had no care and no idea about the rules for the Americans with disability act. If you have a disability or know someone who does and they need a service animal this is NOT the place for you or your family. I did have to file a complaint with the Americans with disability nobody should feel this uncomfortable.

Family friendly cottages and lodge! Very well run and recently under new ownership. Family owned and operated. We have stayed here twice before but new owners have upgraded and updated rooms. Right next to beach, infact you can walk out of your room into beach. Cute coffee shop attached to lodge. Highly recommended! We'll be back for sure.

Nice little place on the less "touristy" side of Door County. The rooms were dated but very clean. Staff was very pleasant. Beautiful spot to view the sunrise over Lake Michigan. Will be returning for another visit this summer.

We snagged the last remaining cabin available for the long fourth of July weekend. I was so excited…read moreto find a reasonably priced one bedroom cabin on the water in door county that I picked up the phone to secure it right away. They have online booking, I didn't use it as I prefer to call. The staff was friendly, letting me know this was an offsite cabin and they would charge my credit card right away for 50% of the rental. They also went over the cancellation policy. What they Didn't Tell me was there wasn't any WIFI at the cabin. One star taken away. There are 3 little cabins along the side of the road in Little Harbor 6 feet from the shore that are owned by Snug Harbor. Halfway between Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. The cabin was old, very rustic and immaculately clean. Small bedroom with a queen bed, living room with loveseat, chair and working wood fireplace. They even supplied the wood! Small dining area with a kitchenette that had, cookware, dishes, silverware, towels, toaster, coffee maker with coffee, stove and refrigerator with freezer. Very nice. They even had fresh flowers on the table to greet us. The bathroom was small and nicely stocked with soaps, shampoo and conditioner. The only downside to the cabin is it's lack of light/ lighting fixtures. We had a nice deck overlooking the water, a fire pit feet off shore, outdoor grill and enough sun and shade to make it the perfect hang out spot on a long weekend.

There are grills and picnic tables outside to enjoy the waterfront and a community fire pit for gathering in the the evenings. We also rented a boat for two days and were able to use the dock right outside. Laurel at the front desk is so welcoming the staff is quick to respond and make our stay both comfortable and memorable.

We've stayed here numerous times before. It's nothing fancy but it's clean and serves its purpose…read more Rooms have all recently been remodeled and painted a blue/gray color (this color is also in the front lobby and hallways) and rooms have updated furnishings, large flat screen TVs, and beds. The desk staff mentioned that the bathroom vanities are the last item to be replaced and that's coming soon. Sadly, the color of the walls does nothing to brighten the room (or the hallways) and the two desk lamps are your primary source of lighting. Bathrooms have been repainted but are equipped with the bare minimum of hooks or towel bars. An additional hook on the back of the doors or something would be nice. Decorative items in the lobby area have all been taken down. They were nice and added a little extra something. Continental breakfast was very disappointing. French toast on Friday wasn't bad. Sausage links were consistently edible. When the sausage ran out, it was replaced with bacon. Barely cooked and borderline raw. The scrambled eggs that were out on Saturday morning were clearly leftover from the previous day. Waffle batter was already portioned out into plastic cups (I'd rather do that myself) and left out in the open. No fruit available. Bagels and breads were not restocked. We observed that in years past, there was an older woman who kept the breakfast area restocked and tended to and kept lobby tables clean. Now, the breakfast area is the responsibility of the one front desk staff member...who also does their desk work...and oversees the pool/hot tub maintenance. One person doing the work of three people is not working and the lack of care really shows. Overall, there's nothing wrong with the rooms here and the desk staff are nice and friendly and I've got no issue with them. But there are obviously some changes that have been made here and it's more focused on cosmetic appearance rather than improving the guest experience.

Our room had everything we needed: a kitchen with all included dishware, paper towels, coffee filters, etc., a nice updated shower with good water pressure, a fold out couch/sofabed (which we used, so it was definitely a necessity!), flat screen smart TVs with all the hookups for your apple TV etc if you choose to bring it (this is a must for us in the evenings since we like to watch our shows and chill out before bed) and a balcony with table & chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view. Our room was a bit humid - since we had the wall unit A/C and a fan in the main bedroom it never fully cooled down to where we would have liked it, but it was tolerable (we were out and about so much during our time in Door County, so we really weren't at the resort too much except to sleep!). I maybe heard a small amount of hall noise here and there but very rare (we were on the third floor). I never heard any of our neighboring units, so that was a big plus. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. We used the washer/dryer and ice machine, as well as took advantage of the free coffee (delicious!). We also needed to print a couple of documents and were able to do that on a computer near the front desk on the second floor. We did not use the pool facilities, but both the indoor and outdoor pool looked very clean and many people were using both daily. The housekeeping is a bit unique in that can specify if you would like someone to enter your suite to clean/empty trash, replace towels, etc. or if you would just like replacement items (if this is the case you can fill out a dry erase form and place it outside your suite).
