I normally just ask for lots of layers, curtain bangs, and gloss/toner. Although my requests are usually really simple, she always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm getting what I want and more :) At my recent appointment, she gave me a free Kerastase sample to use since I told her I was graduating soon. Love her! The vibe of this salon is so chic as well. It's extremely busy in the mornings, but it quiets down by late afternoon. I normally schedule my appointments in late afternoon and have never had a problem with the noise level. They also have TONS of great hair and skin products to sell! New to the area I happened to luck out finding Denille at Square Salon. The salon is really nice with fantastic selection of high end products. They also discount them all on the first Friday of every month (I think she said 25%!! - don't hold me to that :-). I've been getting my hair colored for years, but this color was outstanding. I came in with sad hair and left with beautiful brown, shiny hair with some amazing Carmel highlights. Denille listens and really cares about getting it exactly right for you. I was so drawn to her not only because of her amazing work, but because of the type of hair she works on. I'm Filipino and it's always been a struggle to find a hair stylist that can work with my hair (texture, color, etc). So I decided to give Edwina a try. The second you sit in her chair, you feel like you're bff's! Edwina is very kind and welcoming, and makes sure that you get exactly what you want! Prior to this visit i went to another hair stylist in las vegas at a different salon and had a not so good experience and i over pid for what i got !!! With that being said Finding a salon and hair stylist to be able to satisfy me has always been a challenge because im so picky lol The salon staff are so nice and greet you every time! So the first time i came across Shelly and Zoes work was on social media @shellygregoryhair i knew i had to book her to do my hair ;-) She was fully booked but Zoe managed to squeeze me in early and i was so excited!!!! When She did my hair the first time i was so blown away on how detailed she was and how much she cared about my hair it was like the best feeling i knew i was in good hands!!! Shelly was such a pleasant and humble person to be around while getting my hair done she also showed me the best products for my hair type and how i can use certain tools and products for my hair which i needed since im not too good with that stuff lol Besides that Zoe her assistant was super sweet and so gentle when working on my hair ;-) They did exactly what i wanted but better i was blown away it was beautiful! Let me mention again im very picky lol I love how soft my hair felt after and all the way up to the next visit it still looked amazing and that was after like 4-5 months lol im a very busy person!!! It was my fault to get my hair color last minute and was not able to find any opening so I went to somewhere bad. I'm sooo happy to find Square Salon on IG. I called and booked an appointment with Sam. I got my haircut with Sam and in love with how light and pretty it is on my hair. So I recommend to my mom and now she loved her hair as well. She said she will have to get her hair cut here every time she visiting me. I cant wait for my other hair appointment with Sam. She's really good with what she does and would give you suggestions. I've been coming to Square for a few years now and I always ALWAYS go to Ashley Hambly. She's been doing my hair for about 4-5 years now, I believe. I won't go to anyone else for color. Ashley does an amazing job making sure that your hair is not damaged during the lightening process. I've been dying my hair blonde for many years now. I've also been wanting to go lighter and lighter each time. Unfortunately my hair does not like to lift (lighten) after 15 minutes or so, making it super tough to go lighter. If you try to push my hair and leave the lightener on after it stops lifting, it will get damaged. Ashley makes sure that doesn't happen. My hair feels and looks super healthy after a coloring/lighting session with Ashley and it makes me feel so good. I've gone to another artist before to lighten my hair and my hair looked great but it felt gummy. It took a while for my hair to get it's luster back after that. OMG this review is only for the terribly unprofessional front desk girl. My hairdresser was fine except she didn't bother telling me which salon she was going to be at as this was my first time meeting her. NOTE: There are TWO salons next to each other with same name. Back to the receptionist. I check in, and she is chewing gum with her mouth open!!! First off, who does that even if you're not at a place of work? Second, I ask her if my stylist is at the salon or next-door, but between the gum chewing and checking my name in the computer, it was too much work for her to answer my question!!!. However, not every fancy salon has great hairstylists, but I can guarantee you just by the way Eduardo specifically made a color just for me and figured out a way to color correct my hair to get these results proves just how professional this salon is. Eduardo is amazing at color correcting hair, so if you're hair needs a touch up or a whole restyle, Eduardo is the one you're looking for! I have a hard time trusting hairstylists and let alone paying a big price just to get my hair done.
