And points me in right directions while still giving me similar to what I had in mind but in a way that suits me best. Jessica is also just the best vibe reader. If you want to gossip and talk? She will gossip and talk. If you want it to be quiet and just read or scroll, she will be mindful to only speak when it's important information and walking through steps of what she is doing for you to be informed. She fluctuates so well and is just a super kind and gentle person. In addition the head massages she gives are amazing. I am autistic and I have sensory issues up the wazoo that I can't have people touch me for long periods of time or even (3 seconds sometimes) like a massage, especially my scalp and you can imagine how tense I am if I never get the kinks and tension massaged out. For some reason, Jessica just does it right. I melt into her hands and she gives perfect pressure, she gets all the good spots, and keeps the water warm (if you like it warm). I also love the eucalyptus or water hot towel that's done at the end, so refreshing. I literally walk out the salon confident, sexy, and in a haze because I'm massage drunk and relaxed. Skip the spa and go see Jessica .... Or dont so I can have her all to myself

I tend to write more detailed reviews about hair salons because my hair has always been a big deal for me. I have very curly, frizzy, coarse hair that tends to puff up and look much fuller than it actually is. It is definitely not the kind of curly hair that naturally falls into pretty, defined curls. Without blow-drying or straightening, it can get very unruly and hard to manage. I have been dealing with this hair for decades, so I have had more haircuts, blowouts, straightening treatments, and salon visits than I can count. Because of that, I can usually tell when someone really understands how to work with difficult curly hair. I wore short hair when I was younger, but after a bad experience, I avoided it for decades. About six months to a year ago, I decided to try a bob again. At first, I felt like the only way I could really manage it was by getting a straightening treatment about every six months. Since I also color my hair, I did not want to keep combining coloring and chemical straightening because of the damage it can cause over time. I decided to keep coloring my hair and stop the straightening treatments. Once more of my natural curl started growing back, though, the bob became harder and harder for me to manage. I was honestly starting to think I might have to give up on short hair and grow it out again. That was around the time I found this salon. What has impressed me most is how much easier my bob has been to manage since coming here, even without going back to regular straightening treatments. I am not especially skilled at styling my own hair, but after shampooing, I can now blow-dry and straighten it at home much more easily. The cut itself makes a huge difference. It also grows out really well, which is one of the main reasons I keep coming back. -- What really stands out to me is how well Risa listens. -- At every visit, she takes the time to ask how my previous haircut worked for me, what I liked, and whether there is anything I would like to change. I really appreciate that she listens to my feedback instead of simply repeating the same cut. I loved the shape of my last bob, but the back had been cut very short with clippers. Because my hair is coarse and pretty stiff, those very short hairs felt uncomfortable against the back of my neck as they grew out. Since I had not worn my hair this short in decades, I simply did not know my hair would react that way. I mentioned it to Risa, and this time she adjusted the cut and used mainly scissors and thinning shears instead of cutting the back so closely with clippers. I really appreciated that she listened to both what I liked about the previous cut and what I wanted changed. Most importantly, I love my bob again. The shape is clean, balanced, flattering, and very easy for me to manage. I also enjoyed the shampoo service. The brief scalp massage felt really relaxing and refreshing, and the salon itself always has a calm, comfortable atmosphere. My husband had his haircut again too, and his cut came out clean and polished, just like the previous visits. After three visits, it definitely does not feel like we simply got lucky once. The results have been consistently good for both of us. For me, a haircut that grows out well and stays manageable for two or three months, sometimes close to four, is absolutely worth the investment. Being able to maintain my bob this easily without relying on regular straightening treatments makes it even more valuable. That is why I keep coming back, and why I take the time to leave reviews. After our third visit, I feel even more confident recommending Risa.

We walked over to the hair wash stations and laid down. The lighting was dim and music was calm. It was thee place to chill us out! I hadn't washed my hair in 3 days and I was long overdue for a wash! The lady who took care of me was gentle and asked how the water temp and pressure was. She was cautious with the comb, too. I didn't experience any tugging or tangling. The lady lather rinsed and repeated and she would apply extra pressure around my scalp which felt nice. Afterwards, a warm towel was placed over my eyes. The lady began to massage my head and neck, moved me to the left and then over to the right. I wanted to fall asleep bc I was relaxed and at ease. When the washing and massage time was up, our hair was wrapped up and we were brought over to the drying area. We were given another massage that involved our neck, upper back and shoulders. We were given tea and a cookie and we sat under hands free hairdryer which was so cool! Like I can use both my hands to help dry my hair?! So innovative! So efficient! Like I want one for myself now! The lady asked us if we needed any hair products to dry our hair but they didn't have my root lift serum. My hair dried fast and I was able to sip my tea and destress. Yasss. Overall, it was a great "treat yo self" experience. The lady who helped me was kind and gentle, the service was great and our scalps felt clean and our hair smelled good! Reasonably priced for Vegas! I would definitely come back again and do the scalp analysis session if ever I'm in the area again.

When I returned to confirm, the quote had increased for the exact same service. After I pointed it out, she agreed to honor the original quote. However, at the very last appointment, as i was leaving, I saw in her notes that she had actually ordered 22-inch extensions instead. I was lied to, twice. At my first installation, everything seemed fine at first, but within a few days, one edge of my extensions began to lift. When I came back for a correction, I mentioned that the track created a visible bump due to my fine hair. Rather than addressing the concern professionally, Shelly called me "crazy." That comment stung, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. At my next appointment, she admitted she could see the bump and would move the tracks lower, confirming the issue I'd raised earlier. However, her attitude was consistently passive-aggressive throughout the visit. A couple days after that fresh installation, a bead fell out after washing my hair. I also noticed the bottom track wasn't aligned properly, and I had to trim about two inches myself to even it out. When I let her know about the bead, I expected a simple, professional response -- an offer to come in and have it fixed. Instead, five days later she replied that I was "always looking for something wrong" and said she felt uncomfortable working with me. She completely ignored the bead. The irony is I never mentioned the hair I cut off to even the bottom out. Shelly is passive-aggressive aggressive, deflects accountability and will directly blame you for anything. I asked her to not put my beads so tight and she blamed the pain on my hormones/period. It has been a week. I havent gotten it. Shelly even went as far as to seed doubt about my relationship with my colorist. Making an off hand remark "Ramona wants to get rid of you." I brought this to the salon owner, Jessica, and explained the situation, including the unprofessional comments. Unfortunately, Jessica defended Shelly, saying it was just a "personality clash." That kind of dismissal made it clear that accountability and client satisfaction isn't a priority there. The star is entirely for Ramona, who did my color and cut beautifully. I'm genuinely disappointed that I won't be returning because she was great, but the overall salon environment and Shelly's behavior made me too uncomfortable to continue. Update- I'd like to add that Shelly and her assistants will talk shit about coworkers right in front of you. The entire atmosphere is highly unprofessional.

Hands down, the best hair cut/color I have ever had in my life!…read more I got a partial highlight with a 3 inch cut with Dawna and I am BLOWN. AWAY. The blonde is exactly what I wanted. Some pieces are brighter blondes than the others making it stand out even more but still a good mix for depth. I have super thick hair and Dawna did a great job with thinning it down to decrease my drying time and make it look super healthy. We had so much fun talking that we forgot to take before/after photos. I'll do it next time!! Don't hesitate for a second with Dawna.. but don't take my future appointment spots! Hahaha

The receptionist was very sweet and said she would check to see if she could take me. She comes back and sit in lobby with fresh water - compliment of receptionist. Mikea walks out and stands in front of me. Aggressively looking at me and says can I help you? I was thrown off because of her demeanor and aggressively approaching me. I look at receptionist confused thinking there was a mix up since said she would get me in. Again" can I help you?" Scowling at mex I decided at that point to walk out which obviously was what she wanted. All she had to do was say sorry not available today. Considering she was sloppily dressed in sweats and flip flops and dusty t shirt I think or hope she wasn't working any ways, I walked out to my car baffled and shaking as I hate confrontation and that is exactly how she came at me. Like she wanted to fight?! Wt hell lady? I walked back in to get her name to write this. Stay away! Mean, sloppy and apparently other reviews say her station is a mess as well. She did me a favor I guess. Highly recommend staying away.
