He is such a kind hearted soul. Greg is very knowledgable and he answered to all my questions of what parts he needs, how much time it will take, as well as the price which was very very reasonable! He was so fast and results were absolutely perfect! He will be my go-to plumber in VB!! I also appreciated Greg's attention to costumer service! I said no shoes in the house and I gave him my slips and he took his boots off and came in without any hesitation! Later, his work was phenomenal, (no leaks, no problems!) he made sure to clean up the work area, leaving it in a better condition than he found it. Overall, I highly recommend Gregsher Plumbing for any plumbing needs. Greg is an outstanding plumber!!

I had a hot water heater crap out on me over the summer, and I was scrambling to find someone who…read morecould help me fix it. I ran across Greg's info online and after several recommendations from folks, I gave him a call. He responded right away (unlike other companies I tried who took a day or two to respond), came over to assess the problem, and was able to give me a reasonable quote quickly. There was a delay in shipping my unit, but the minute it arrived Greg and his team were out there getting it installed -- and I'm talking above and beyond. They started in the afternoon and there were several complications give the age of my house and the newer technology available -- but they stayed at it until almost midnight until it worked properly. It's been installed for about six months now and I've had NO problems whatsoever. I also had an issue with my toilet a couple months ago - I texted Greg and he came over the same day to fix it. Critical when you live in a house with only one bathroom!! I would highly recommend Greg and his team to anyone looking for a local plumber.

Needless to say, I needed more than a single bathroom down a dark hallway in this very old house. Don came through fast! I told him, "I do not care about the bathroom right now, just give me access to a toilet pronto, please." The finished bathroom is a week or two from being complete. Don created exactly what I needed. His team cleaned up the site while installing the plumbing daily (you could walk around here barefoot if need be). They also make sure to lay out the bathroom with you so you get exactly what you are looking for. Very happy with Don and his nephew's work! I only post on the best there is in the Tidewater area. Turns out the toilets he installed were Mansfield "Alto" toilets which were rated dead last in Consumer Reports in 2019. Needless to say, I had to hire a reputable plumber to fix all his mistakes. As a personal aside, he could not have been ruder to me and my husband. -Kate in Chesapeake

She said she could get me in the next day- Friday. I told her I had to go into work, but I could try to leave early and did they have afternoon availability. She said how about 3 or after 3, I said that's perfect. The plumber calls me Friday at 9:40am and said he is on the way to my house, I told him I was at work and my appointment was at 3pm. He said he understood and he would reach back out to me around 3pm. I told him if I was able to leave earlier I would give him a call. I took off work early so that I could be home before 3pm, I called him at 3pm to let him know I was there. He said ok, he would call me when he was on the way...I called him back at 4:45 and I asked him if he had an idea of the time he would be coming. He said he was snaking a pipe in Portsmouth and he would call me after to head my way. It's now 10:15pm...I took time off of work for nothing, he never called and he never showed up and my faucet has a constant drip. The office was respectful and kind, the plumber was kind on the phone...but it is so rude and disrespectful to just not show up or call back and let them know you are unable to be there. This was my second time "using their Services", they had just repaired a leak in my crawl space a couple weeks prior and those guys Were quick, kind, and efficient. I am beyond disappointed with This go round, I will not be calling them or using their services again. I will take my business and my money elsewhere.

If there's any review to read.. here ya go…read more I've been a home owner for a long time. And sometimes stuff happens. Upon moving into my (new to me) older home, we learned about some of the bad things that people do with their flushing standards. This bit us in the rear when the entire system got clogged. This clogging created a backflow of stuff you don't want to see, to come back up.. into the showers, bathtubs, yeah... it was messy.. and ugly. I called around to find a plumber that would be willing to help me and at first I just left a message to call me back. Shortly after, Newman's quickly responded by returning my call. The lady was very friendly and responsive to my needs. She mentioned that they had availability sooner than other places AND they had an option for emergency service. The emergency service (after hours) was obviously going to cost more but honestly, I had literal fecal matter in all our tubs, etc. it was totally worth it to have someone come asap. The gentleman who came over definitely knew his stuff. Dave had been doing it for a long time. He was very quick to isolate the issue and get everything resolved. He was very concise with what he was doing and the path to get things clear. I'm very pleased with the service I got as I had a no BS - let's get you straight service and was able to get it when I wanted it (which was immediate). As much as I hope I never have to call, if I do... I know I'll call Newman's. Food Taste: n/a Overall Service: 5 Value of food to cost: 4 Facility: n/a Repeat customer: yes Dog Friendly: n/a

Service needs improvement!!!!!!!!…read more I used Wright-Way Plumbing recently and was disappointed with the experience. While the plumber eventually completed the work, the appointment ran late, and communication was poor. I wasn't kept informed about delays, which was frustrating. The pricing felt higher than expected considering the service, and the overall experience didn't feel very professional. The work itself was acceptable, but nothing stood out as reliable or efficient. Overall, I think there's room for improvement in communication and customer service. I would likely consider other options next time!
