A really nice setting, a varied menu, generally good food, was spoiled by the terrible service. Our reservation was at 7:30. It was 8:30 before the starters arrived. It took another half hour before the mains were served but even then, only three of the four of us received our meals. After several requests and being told it would only be a "couple more minutes", a final message to the waitress of our displeasure managed to bring forth a pizza, leaving our friend to eat alone as the rest of us had long finished our meal. This was our second visit, the first being marred by inexperienced wait staff mixing up our orders and bringing food to our table that belonged elsewhere and vice versa. We chalked it up to newbie jitters and were willing to give it another try but this last experience will suffice. It is evident that the kitchen operation, as confirmed by our waitperson, is too small to accommodate the huge number of tables that comprise in effect 3 restaurants i.e., a large interior, a front outdoor terrace and a large rear terrace with a retractable roof. Either the owners put in place a kitchen operation large enough to be able to handle the volume in a timely way, hire more staff, or limit the number of seatings.
