They use certain tactics to drag you into paying for something you verbally told them you wouldn't pay for. They use the complications of insurance to confuse you and make you pay for a service regardless of your insurance covering it or not. For me I specifically told them, if the service I was looking to get done was not covered, I will not be doing it with them. They lied to me and said it would be covered and when I came back the following week for the follow up, they said "we apologize but we were wrong about your coverage and it will not infact be covered". This was after the fact of me saying "if it's not covered, do not do the service/procedure". I hope any others attending this business will see this review and stay away from them. Blatantly lied just to steal a couple hundred from a young college student.

They take the needs of every patient to heart and ensure the needs are met and the patient is satisfied and comfortable. I have never been a fan of the dentist but Dr. Dave has always put my mind at ease when having any dental work done. He is very thorough and will explain everything upfront and as he is doing the work. I no longer stress over having to have any dental work done. Everyone in the office is super friendly and welcoming. Keep in mind they are not really in any insurance companies networks, so you typically end up paying a little more but for someone who may not be the biggest fan of the dentist, it is worth every penny. They do file my insurance for me, then I just pay what my insurance does not cover. I highly recommend Dr. Dave and his team. Oh, it is also worth noting I still used Dr. Dave when I lived in Jacksonville, FL and still make the drive now from Davenport.

Instead of removing or repairing her tooth they did extensive procedures and had her keep returning several times in the course of six weeks (meanwhile she was in terrible pain). They never removed the bad tooth but wanted to do costly surgery which would be several thousands of dollars!! Realizing this reputable dentist seemed like a scammer we located another, which was Coast Dental in Ormond Beach. They were incredible! They fully understood that removing the painful terrible tooth was the main priority and they got right on it. They didn't even attempt to do all the other procedures which might be important at a later date but were not important at the moment. And the dentist was so incredible that he removed the tooth without causing my wife any pain or discomfort at all... and that is rare since she normally despises dental visits because of her sensitive mouth which feels every little 'poke or jab' with high discomfort.
