So I pulled in and inquired about how much uniform patching was. It was literally 40% less. I drove back to Towaco Cleaners and asked for my uniform back and then asked if there was any dry-cleaning under my husband's and my name. When I got all my things I said to the owner, "My husband and I've both been customers here for 7 years and you just lost our business for being so rude. I simply asked you a question about price and you made a racist comment." Instead of apologizing, he waved me off and said "All Indian people are so so cheap and they talk so much." Seriously!!!! I have yet to try the delivery service because I live close enough that I feel lazy even thinking about doing so but I do not doubt that the delivery is as good if not better than the drop off/pick up I've experienced. They also have a little punch card thinger and after ten washes you get a free wash. Very good idea and is just one more reason you are my go to laundromat. ....and the price ain't too shabby. No accountability, no urgency, no resolution. To make matters worse, they lost expensive items, including a $425 hoodie. What I got back was one giant mess of wrinkled, mishandled clothing, far from the professional service they advertise. This company showed a total lack of care, accountability, and respect for their customers' belongings. I would strongly warn anyone against using Clean Clothes Depot unless you want to risk losing your clothing and wasting your money. I don't dry clean my clothes regularly; it's mostly a special occasion kind of visit. The man who runs the dry cleaning is very kind & very personable. Even if I haven't come in for months, he still remembers me & asks how I'm doing. My dry cleaning is always in excellent condition: fresh, clean, & wrinkle-free. However, the alterations "department" is really where this place shines. She does amazing work with everything from hemming a pair of jeans (I'm pretty short) to fine-tuning the bodice of bridesmaid dresses. I had a poorly-sized bridesmaid dress altered recently. It was a one-shouldered taffeta asymmetrical dress with rusching (I know -- I don't wanna talk about it!), and she took it in beautifully, in a way that you couldn't even tell it was altered. There was even a strange pull in the skirt that was only visible when I moved a certain way, & she figured out how to fix it! She had me come in once, halfway through, to make sure she was on the right track, & my dress was done in less than a week. Amazing! I pretty much trust them with any and all of my clothes -- from jackets to jeans, and especially bridesmaid dresses!
