We chose to stay here, 25 minutes away, instead of staying Ellicottville since it was Oktoberfest weekend. It was absolutely worth it. This place was a nice get away. Very warm and welcoming and owners were very kind. We stayed in the India room that had an in-room hot tub. The room was very clean and had a lot of extra amenities, including a hair dryer and shampoo (except we didn't ever find any Robes- as promised in their information about the hotel). Either way, the room was fun and the bed was comfortable. We also really enjoyed their 'lounge' which had snacks and wine and a TV to watch the bills game on. In the morning the hosts made the most delicious "country style" breakfast- eggs, pork loin, fruit, pastries, mashed potatoes and homemade apple sauce. I ate everything but the pork loin (Im a vegetarian) but my husband said it was wonderful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

There are miles of well maintained sidewalks in this town for easy dog walking. The pet friendly separate guest rooms seem to be far enough away from the rest of the inn to buffer any barking or dog noise, but when we were concerned about going to dinner and leaving the dog - the owners offered to text us if there were any real noise issues. They took the worry out of leaving the dog alone in the room, which made our stay more enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again.

Hand sani at every turn and I didn't see a single unmasked person throughout my stay. I should also note that the hotel was only at a third capacity, so we really didn't see much of anyone other than the staff throughout our one night stay. We felt safe and at home throughout, and this hotel put cleanline at top priority even before the pandemic. Onto more fun stuff! The staff here is top notch. So friendly and helpful and a pleasure to interact with. We brought our dog, Freddy Sue, this time around, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to fellow dog owners looking to take their pup to a dog friendly town. It is a $70 charge which is steep, but was worth it to us in terms of peace of mind, especially with the off peak rate of this hotel on a Saturday to Sunday being $140. The beds are SO comfortable and I had such an awesome night's rest. Of course, the location cannot be beat. In the non-COVID times, we bopped from restaurant to restaurant drinking our way through the town and it was amazing to be able to come right back to the center of town as home base. For the price and guaranteed positive experience, I doubt we will ever stay anywhere else when we come to visit Ellicottville. Happy exploring!

Even the orange juice was little per-filled sealed cups like it came from a hospital cafeteria. They are remodeling the lobby but they should be doing something with the dated rooms. No charging stations and the couch was old and ratty. We will not be back to this place. I said that there was a time when customers were compensated for bad experiences but now it is , we got your money, sorry. About a hour later a got a reply that half my money was being refunded. So at least they are trying so I changed my rating to 2 stars for the effort.

Beyond that, I thought the breakfast buffet was above average with its many fruit offerings, as well as the standard fare. I ordered an egg white omelette both days, and it was just okay.
