I always wipe down surfaces with Clorox wipes and when the wipe comes up with lots of dirt.. I'm always a little worried about cleanliness. The wipes picked up a lot of grim/dirt to the point where the visible marks all came up. The room is very simple which is fine. Tv worked, wifi worked, and parking was convenient. Bed was also comfortable. I would recommend them getting black out curtains. The light would shine in the room in the morning, not great when trying to sleep in. Would I stay here again? Probably not. But only because I don't care to stay in motels, when I booked it. I didn't realize it was a motel.

The biggest issues were in the bathroom. First of all the toilet flushed so loud that it was like a jet taking off right next to you. After the initial scare, I was never prepared for how loud it was until I actually flushed it again. Unbelievable. The shower took a very long time to get warm and the water temperature never got hot enough for me. The towels were very small and sparse and the worst part of it was to take a shower, the tub water also flowed so as you're taking a shower you're standing in standing water. Very disappointing shower but we did get a good nights sleep so there's that.

I understand this is a pet-friendly hotel, but the carpets in my room had several noticeable stains and gave the room a slightly dirty appearance and lingering odor. I think the hotel would greatly benefit from regularly steam cleaning or replacing the carpets, as first impressions matter. The complimentary breakfast was average at best. On multiple mornings, little things were missing or not working--whether it was no milk available, the beverage machine being out of service, or simple items like honey for tea not being restocked. These may seem like small details, but they're the kinds of touches that make guests feel cared for. As the saying goes, it's often the little things that matter most. That said, if you're visiting Turlock for work, this is still one of the more convenient and better lodging options in the area. The location is good, and for a smaller city with limited hotel choices, it gets the job done. With a little more attention to cleanliness and consistency, this hotel could easily earn a higher rating

ROOM AMENITIES consisted of large flat screen tv on a swivel wall mount, fridge, coffee machine, microwave, iron+ironing board, hairdryer, liquid hand soap, liquid body soap+shampoo. The shower was exceptionally clean, (although I'd still advise everyone to use shower sandals) with reliable hot water. The sheets were clean, beds soft, with just the right amount of pillows, no signs of bed bugs. Appliances were clean and didn't stink. Laundry room had only 1 of 2 washers working, and the only laundry soap that was available were tide pods, priced at $1.75 EACH pod, outrageous. This one night stay cost me $92 cash, no deposit, but keep in mind that prices vary depending upon location, day and what time you decide to check in Unfortunately there's no pool and no exercise room at this location which is a downer but you can loan some exercise equipment for a $50 deposit. Nevertheless, I would likely stay here again and give a good recommendation to friends. For the price and quality 5/5stars

I called Motel 6 Corporate the next day and let them know I didn't feel safe w/ the non functioning smoke detectors and black mold. He proceeded to tell me I was never allowed in his fine establishment ever again and didn't refund or discount me whatsoever.

After reviewing these pictures I posted, let me ask you this. Would you allow yourself or your elderly parents, or grandparent to stay in this room? I had no choice as it was the only one available that was downstairs and set up for handicapped needs. I quickly started taking some pictures of these rooms to document my experience. They had duck tape over the sprinkler head near the bed. Lord forbid a fire starts, the sprinkler would not be of any help before the firetruck arrives! The lady that checked me in, was under so much stress to which she admitted to me and said that she's ready to leave it and find something else to do. She was pleasant but her head wasn't really in her job, which one could clearly see. Actually all of the counter people were friendly and most were helpful. I honestly cannot say anything too bad about them, except this. Why on earth isn't the cleaning personal doing there jobs correctly? Secondly why isn't management over seeing the work? All I can end with is.. I sure hope that this new outfit that's bought our Motel 6 here in Turlock, does a thorough inspection of each room and order them to be deep cleaned. Bring in some contractors and plumbers to fix those issues and any electrical work that needs it too. A good onsite manager to over see all of the work being done and not rent out a single room until they are all finished. I love my hometown, but I'm very ashamed that this is going on in it. Good Luck to PARK INN by Radisson. But I know you can make this right again.
