I stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton Turlock during a business trip. Overall, I'd rate my stay 3 out of 5 stars. It wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't great either. I understand this is a pet-friendly hotel, but the carpets in my room had several noticeable stains and gave the room a slightly dirty appearance and lingering odor. I think the hotel would greatly benefit from regularly steam cleaning or replacing the carpets, as first impressions matter. The complimentary breakfast was average at best. On multiple mornings, little things were missing or not working--whether it was no milk available, the beverage machine being out of service, or simple items like honey for tea not being restocked. These may seem like small details, but they're the kinds of touches that make guests feel cared for. As the saying goes, it's often the little things that matter most. That said, if you're visiting Turlock for work, this is still one of the more convenient and better lodging options in the area. The location is good, and for a smaller city with limited hotel choices, it gets the job done. With a little more attention to cleanliness and consistency, this hotel could easily earn a higher rating read more

I had an absolutely amazing stay at the Hilton Home2 Suites. Truly, I got the best rest of my life here. The entire hotel was spotless--no bugs, no trash in the hallways, and everything smelled clean and fresh. The staff across all shifts were extremely friendly, and the hospitality was consistent from the moment I checked in until the moment I left. The breakfast was great, and the kitchen cook was not only skilled but incredibly kind, which made my mornings even better. I also felt safe walking in the area at night, even when heading to the nearby grocery store. That is something I deeply appreciate as a solo traveler. A special thank you to Alonso--he checked on me daily to make sure everything was perfect. I've been traveling for work for 6 years, staying in top-tier Hilton properties, and no one has ever given me the level of care and attention Alonso did. He truly made my stay exceptional. The only disappointment was related to the Hilton points. Since I was there on company time, I was told the company representative requested that no one accrue points. I've traveled with multiple companies and have never been denied Hilton points before, so that was unexpected. Because I couldn't use my Diamond number, I also couldn't use the Digital Key or check out through the app. I had to check out over the phone--but again, the staff handled it smoothly. Despite that small issue, my stay was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area. Clean, safe, comfortable, and exceptional service. Thank you, Home2 Suites Team--especially Alonso--for making this one of my best hotel stays ever. read more

Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. I used the gym and found it well stocked with nice touches like earphones being available. The breakfast staff was friendly and kept the buffet full and she cleared the tables and wiped them down quickly to keep the clean look. For me, the parking didn't give me a sense of security given the area the hotel is located. read more

Great little hotel. It felt very clean, the staff members at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful. They had amenities like a pool and gym, nothing overly fancy, but it got the job done. It is on the freeway, and i could hear cars passing by, and also the sound does echo from the hallways. They serve a simple continental breakfast. One thing I wish is more restaurants near the hotel, but nothing the hotel can do to change that. I would stay here again, comfy beds, nice little kitchenette, and the water pressure in the shower is great! Overall I would stay here again read more

I won't be coming back here again...came here last night for a quick stay and what bugs me about this place is despite being a life time diamond customer there is no extras about this place that would have me coming back. Last night they booked me in a room right on the freeway. The noise was overwhelming all night long... Then usually get a free couple bottles of water and a snack and that also wasn't offered either. Then where my room was the were doing some sort of construction or repairs on the room next store. So now I had to deal with the traffic noise and this other noise. read more

I checked in with and the front desk agent was great. Upon checking into the room, I found d hair all over the bathroom ceiling. The next morning I was leaving to go to a wedding and I asked the front desk if my room could be cleaned and I was told no, my room is not non the list. I didn't have time to discuss it but I asked for fresh towels. They did supply the fresh towels. I had to aleepnon u fresh linen and was bitten by something that night while sleeping. The next morning at approximately 9:32 am, the morning of checkout, a housekeeper walked in on me in my underwear without even knocking. Then a second housekeeper without knocking was attempting to open the door to my room. I caught the door and when she saw me she said sorry. I informed the front desk. Whenever I asked to speak to a manager I was told the manager didn't work in the weekends. Ice stay but attention to detail is needed. Thisbis coming feom a ex food and beverage manager and ex housekeeping manager. read more

I've never tried a Home2 Suites before and was interested in seeing what the property was like. This particular location is right off the freeway which means you might hear the road traffic if you get a room on the wrong side. It's also off a popular exit which means you might encounter a bit of traffic...but not too bad. The parking lot seems to be shared with the hotel next door. The exercise room has reasonable equipment (free weights. treadmills, just one elliptical, a couple stationary bikes, etc.). The room is a decent size too. But the drawback is the washroom is also in this room. With the AC temp set at 72 and washers & dryers doing their thing, it can get a little humid...if you're pushing, you'll definitely work up a sweat. One of the bikes is a Peloton...but if you don't already have an account, you can't really use it. Breakfast is doable. But if you're there more than a few days, it basically repeats over and over. There's a frig/freezer in the room. But only a microwave oven. There's a couple grills downstairs by the pool. They also have an induction cooker the front desk can loan you. Next door (walking distance) is a grocery market. If you don't want to cook, there's a Jack in the Box, Denny's, an AmPm gas station, and taco trucks (across the street) right next to the hotel. The staff were really nice and helpful, when able. Overall, this hotel is not bad with one really annoying exception. The rooms have a motion sensor that controls some of the power outlets...like power to the big screen TV and AC. I didn't time it, but know it's definitely less than an hour. Numerous times every day, I'd be watching something when the TV would go dead. You have to get up to get the power back. You also have to turn the TV back on manually...takes a few minutes. Of course it always seems to go off at the most inopportune times. I would have rated this place 4 stars if it weren't for this...very annoying! read more

Great stay, super spacious rooms staff was super friendly as well. I would honestly stay here again.

I say here a few times and every time is always nice people at the front desk and the rooms are comfortable like you at you own house I give them 5* read more

Just wanted to give a good review we had a great stay here. The front desk lady I believe her name is Nicole she was very nice . She was able to help with a early check in. And whatever else we needed help with. Great place to stay at. read more

Booked 2 rooms for the weekend for my family a few days prior to check in. Called to confirm reservation a few times. Each time was told that our rooms will be ready by check in. Even called 1 hr. before. Checked in and once we got to the rooms, noticed right away they were not the rooms we reserved. Called front desk and they blamed Expedia. Called Expedia and they confirmed that the hotel made the mistake and gave us the wrong room. That they will be filling a complaint against the hotel too. If it wasn't for all the hotels being sold out we would of demanded for this be fixed immediately and provide us the correct room but again they were completely sold out. That doesn't mean they didn't get an earful from us and bad review. What kind of hotel just gives away your reservation and then doesn't have the courtesy to inform you that the room is not available? Even when we checked in, the front desk (Corina) didn't mention once that our reserved room was not available. When I complained, she actually tried to tell me that she couldn't find our reservation for that room and tried to make it seem as if it was my fault , that maybe I booked the wrong room and Expedia's fault. Really poor customer service when you lie and blame the customer for your mistake. Not staying here again! I actually thought this hotel was much better than the Hampton Inn for it's more modern appeal, but honestly they have much better quality customer service and really go above and beyond to accommodate your stay. Don't recommend staying here unless you make sure that what you are reserving is exactly what you are getting and you are willing to spend 2 hours trying to remedy the problem that they made. Just ridiculous!!! read more

We spoke to a lady on the phone and said that there was rooms available and we don't like giving our information through the phone so we get here and Jose says that there is no rooms available. When there was rooms available when we spoke on the phone. It's 1 am in the morning and we are tired. Jose was very rude and his attitude towards us was not nice. I don't recommend coming here. I get that it is late and he might be tired but he does not have the right to speak to us that way. We left because we didn't it like is attitude and decided not to stay here because of him. read more

My experience here was amazing! I was originally checked into Hampton Inn (Turlock) and the young man, Matthew, went out if his way and tried his best to accommodate our needs. After 7 hours I was exhausted and my room at Hampton Inn did not have some of the amenities that corporate promised. Matthew called Home2Home suites next door. Nicole was the manager and she went above and beyond to get us checked in and made sure that our room had everything we needed. The room at Home2Home was perfect and the amenities at the hotel far exceeded my expectations. This hotel has superb customer service with clean and spacious rooms. If you find yourself in Turlock I highly recommend Home2Home! read more

I always stay at Hilton properties and love their services. I have to tell you at this location the entire staff was on point and extremely friendly especially the night man Paul S. He deserves a raise. read more

Intrusive and unhelpful front desk. The room has a strange odor. I would not stay in another Home2Suites and do not recommend!

Got there and thought I was going to have good service . Unfortunately we got there there early because we called if we can get a room early they said yes. We got there like at 12 and they said it wasn't ready so we went to the store came back at 3 and said they still not ready.Horrible experience never coming back read more

Very disappointed with the lack of support from the front desk and management regarding the new Peloton in the fitness center. I was very excited to use this bike when traveling here. I have one at home and have used them at about 10 different hotels around the country lately. This is the only hotel that can not get the bike registered correctly. I stayed here 2 months ago and asked the front desk 4 times to get it activated and even offered to walk them threw it. I kept getting the "we'll let the manager know" response and one girl even said "I like don't even know what that is". Now 2 months later the bike is still de-activated, meaning each time I want to use it, I have to spend an extra 10 mins activating it into my account and deleting my home bike from my account and then also setting up the Wi-Fi to my room number. I should be able just quickly log into my own account and be using the bike within a couple minutes like every other hotel. Maybe not a big deal to many, but very frustrating to someone who wants to use this amenity. read more

So I call corporate office to follow up on complaint I filed about being stalked and harassed by front desk worker josue Partida. They said they would not reimburse me after we were evicted from our room that night after all this horrible treatment from this scary guy and his manager who was backing him up. I instead am being told by corporate that they won't reimburse me because we had complaints and police called on us and that they warned us 3 time. A complete and utter lie!!!! I was the one who called police to file a harassment charge, the officers told me there were no complaints filed and even agreed with me on all I said. They have cameras in the hallway and i said please look at them! This guy followed us to our room when we returned from dinner, told us to shut up as we laughed and giggled going to elevator and proceeded to follow us to our room and listen at our door. Then knocked and said we were too loud. So we quieted down and my friend went back down to get her boyfriend, and was then locked out of the hotel by josue until I came down and requested to let her back in which is when he told us we had to leave the hotel . I went back up and called downstairs thinking I'd get the manager so I can complain and he answers and when I say why are we being evicted, no answer. When asked for his managers boss, he hung up on me. I called the police shortly after and filed a report. It is infuriating to see this staff blatantly lied and I have a police report to show that! Hilton you should be ashamed of yourselves for supporting these types of people. read more
