The employees were friendly... and the hotel was clean... lobby has been updated... nice weight room... but spectrum was down and we were not informed of this at check-in... we found out when we returned from dinner... the towels need updating.... very thin & rough to the touch.... Could use towel rack so towels don't end up on the floor... It's also near the freeway (traffic) and you can hear the train... Plenty of parking.. breakfast was decent...

I really like this SpringHill location. The parking lot is large and there are plenty of spots. The team is always friendly and quick at the check-in. The rooms are modern and clean. The highway borders one side of the property and the railroad tracks are on the other side, but the rooms are well insulated and the outside noise didn't affect me at all. The AC let me get the room nice and cool, so I got some great nights of sleep. I had to leave before breakfast every day, but there were always snacks to grab at the front desk to grab on my way out. This was a great hotel and I have stayed here 3 times. Every visit was great!

We stayed here for a trip to Disneyland. It is not too far from the parks. It is close to the freeway and have nearby shops and restaurants. Ample parking lot. Receptionists were friendly and quick. The room we received was big and pretty updated, room 511. View was nothing nice. Even though the room is located next to the freeway, it is actually not too loud. Here and there, we could hear the train go by. The water pressure from the shower was too low. With the low pressure, took me longer to shower than normally. Bed was pretty comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Options were plenty from cereals, oatmeal, eggs, sausages, waffles, bagels, etc. It is serve from 6:30-9:30. Parking is $5/night. We had a good stay overall.

Clean and neat hotel. Weird location but has a lot of parking and EV charging as well. Free breakfast so that's always a bonus

This SpringHill Suites, part of Marriot, is a lovely stay near Disneyland. It's close by to freeways, and a short distance drive to nearby restaurants. The suite I stayed in was very nice. A large bathroom, 2 queen beds, a desk and couch - it was spacious and clean. There's also a gym where water bottles can be refilled. The free breakfast was fantastic. They had eggs, chicken nuggets, oatmeal and cereal with good quality toppings, waffles, pastries, yogurt, juice, fruits, coffee, water and more. The service here is very friendly - the front desk allowed us a late check-out and handled an accidental fire evacuation calmly and in an accommodating manner. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and would come back.

A location further away from the noise which is fine by me. My and my companion checked in and were good with the room size and bathroom and cleanliness. Mostly all good throughout our 1 night stay except something was in the air that had her allergies flare up throughout the night. Free Breakfast was cool and employees are super friendly. We could not pinpoint the reason for the allergy flare up other than when she left the room everything settled down for her. Perhaps the dry air? Who knows! 4 stars overall!

The WORST service ive ever experienced in my life NEVER stay here! We had a service animal and arrived late to the hotel- we forgot to register the animal and instead of hearing us out this lady charged my account $250 for a "cleaning fee" and kicked us out of the hotel mid day charging us not the one night that we actually stayed at the hotel but 2. She talked to us and treated us like absolute trash. I am in shock and dumbfounded... it also says in the lobby and on their website that they allow service animals. The level she went to in handling this was completely unnecessary. We were respectful and kind - the room was in perfect condition our dog did absolutely NO harm whatsoever. But the level this lady went to and how she spoke to us was completely unnecessary and downright disrespectful to treat any human or animal that way.

Conveniently located near the 57 freeway between Orangethorpe and Chapman. Thankfully, we could not hear the freeway (we were on the freeway side of the hotel.) It's also near the train tracks... again, thankful that the train was not a nuisance. Of course, if you are a very light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs. I usually am a light sleeper, but didn't hear the train at night, so it was non-issue for me. Love that the ice machine is on the "other" side of the elevators rather than in the hallway with the rooms so that we didn't have that noise all night long. The ceilings are thin? In the morning and in the evenings, it sounded like someone was jumping and stomping around the room the whole time. It was annoying, but livable as they seemed to settle down by 10pm every night. I don't know if all the rooms are like this or if it's just that we had heavy-footed folks above us. The 2-Queen room we had was very spacious with a desk that was set apart from the beds along with a little sitting area with couch and "coffee" table. Huge TV with apps that you could use your own log-in/account to access shows/movies if you didn't want to watch what was on 'regular' TV. WiFi worked great... or at least good enough for me to do my video conference calls and emails, etc. I didn't have any latency issues. There was also a small fridge and microwave in the room as well. The bathroom and countertop were wide, so you didn't feel cramped at all while getting ready. In fact, mom and I had all our stuff spread out on the counter and didn't interfere with one another. Note, there was only 1 sink, and the shower, sink and toilet are all in one "room". The morning breakfast is pretty standard fare... nothing exceptional. If you are looking for a "made to order" omelet, you should stay at Embassy Suites instead. There is a bar in the lobby that opens in the evenings should you like to un-wind with a glass of something. They also have (next to the check in desk) a small mini-market with all kinds of stuff from snacks to drinks to desserts. Folks working were very nice and took care of all our requests. (For instance, the conditioner and shower gel in our bathroom were out of stock so they had them re-filled immediately.) The parking lot is a bit tight, and can become very full to the point where I was concerned, we would not have a place to park, so I made sure we got back by 8pm. There is a patio and pool area that feels like it's in the parking lot (IMO). They do a pretty good job of making it NOT feel like it's in the parking lot, but still. There is also a nice work out / gym area with free weights and cardio equipment. Would I stay here again? Probably. It's hard to say since there are so many options in the area, and I tend not to be brand loyal... I'm more price sensitive.

I had a one night stay at the SpringHill for a wedding and the room was enormous and impressive but listen I am here to leave this review for one thing, and one thing only- the absolute FIRE selection of hot sauces that are set out during complimentary breakfast. I am a spice head and frequently travel with my own sauce (others are not to be trusted) so imagine my surprise to wake up and find this! So many brands/styles/colors/spice levels! I genuinely cannot remember a single thing else other than how happy I was with this selection. I kid you not, if ever in the area I need of a hotel I would stay here in a heartbeat just because of this experience.

I stayed in a king suite for leisure for one night. I've never stayed here before and I really enjoyed my stay. The parking is easy, plenty of it. The lady at check in was very friendly and it was probably the easiest and quickest check-in process I've ever done. The room was clean. The property seems to be new. Everything in the room was in good working condition and very clean. The king suite was pretty spacious with a sitting area and a desk to work or eat. A mini fridge and microwave was provided. The bed was super comfy. Bathroom was spacious and had a decent amount of counter space. Water pressure in the shower was good. The AC unit worked well and fast. One thing that I found interesting about the room was the fact that the TV was situated in a weird spot. They hung it on the wall in between the bedroom and the sitting area. If you were to want to watch TV from bed, you'd have to look to your right instead of the TV being straight ahead. This didn't bother me at all because I didn't watch the TV but others may find this annoying. I'd definitely come back here.

Nice modern rooms with decent amount of space. The restroom door is a sliding door which we didn't really mind. Parking is only $5 a night which is a plus since surrounds hotels charge $20+ a night

Had to reschedule my September Orange County/LA trip from the Labor Day weekend to another one, and my regular hotel had ridiculously high last minute rates. Ended up staying at the Springhill Suites Placentia/Fullerton. It's close to the off- and on-ramps of CA-57, and just a short trip from my OC homebase of Buena Park. This hotel had the usual SHS layout and complement of amenities, most important being complimentary parking & breakfast. They had an electrical charger for Electric Vehicles. Didn't ask if it cost anything to use it. They didn't have the usual Marriott pork patty (so tired of them after 911 days in a Marriott!), but some kind of pork Scottish banger sausage. Small but very important difference! Asked for and stayed in a room on the ground, love it when the hotel layout has them. They're usually close to an access door that you can use your room key to access, and the parking near them is usually empty. For the Springhill Suites layout, a ice machine is usually included on the ground floor too. All in all, a good stay in a decent hotel at a good price. It won't replace my primary Marriott's, but someplace to keep in mind as a plan B. Repeat and recommend!

We stayed at the Anaheim North location for 2 nights the week of Christmas. For $150 a night for a room that sleeps 6, and includes free hot breakfast every morning...this was a deal. The staff at check-in was friendly and everyone we encountered during our breakfast were also great. Our room was relatively clean, but again showed signs of age. The toilet wobbled when you sat on it. The room slept 6 but only came with 4 towels. One out of the 4 elevators was out of service during our stay. Overall, it was not that bad. The hallway on the 5th floor has tons of spiderwebs so I can only imagine the infestation doesn't just cover the room we were in. The room was dirty, looks like soda splashed on the wall, tooth paste spit in the bathroom. We left for knotts berry farm on Saturday and when we came back the bed had been made but none of the amenities had been replaced so we had no coffee our second day there. Trash didn't get taken out either and no new towels. We booked here because they had an indoor pool and we knew it was possible to rain this weekend. The pool was murky and gross but the first night we thought maybe it was just dirty from that day of traffic. The next morning at 5am we noticed the same pool floaters in there and towels still all over the floor. My husband asked when they maintained the pool and they said they'd were getting to it later. The same pool floaters were there when we checked out two days later and the pool area was never cleaned. Do not take your kids in that pool. Murky water is not normal. The finale- it rained pretty hard this morning and as we sat and ate breakfast we got a nice amount of rain water from the leaky high ceiling. This place is a dump. I originally was going to leave two stars but 1 star deserving for sure after the leaky roof incident.

When I arrived, everything seemed normal; I paid, and I immediately received a notification confirming the charge. However, the man at the front desk told me to swipe my card again, claiming it appeared as declined. I pointed out that this was impossible, as I had just received a notification from my bank. He claimed it was merely to ensure that everything was in order--but that was a lie. He processed two separate charges that night, totaling $600. I confronted him, asking why he had charged me twice. He then spoke with his manager a woman named MISHEL who behaved in a rude and abrasive manner, stating, "That is your bank's problem; there is nothing we can do." I spent over 40 minutes at the front desk trying to check in and get them to resolve a double charge that had been applied to my credit card. I didn't want to keep arguing, so I simply asked to be given a room. Upon reaching the room, I found it was dirty and had a leak. I requested a room change, and it took them another 10 minutes to arrange it; then, in the new room they assigned me, the keys didn't work. By that point, I was thoroughly annoyed; I had spent nearly an hour and a half just trying to get checked in at that place. I really do not recommend staying there; they have very rude staff, and their manager on duty is inefficient.

Upon check-in shortly after 3 p.m., I was greeted by a gentleman (whose name I didn't catch). He was nice, and the process took no more than maybe 3 minutes. I was on the 2nd floor, and the room was very COLD, lol. I checked the thermostat, and it was set to 60° so I turned it up a bit. The room was furnished with a whole kitchenette, the bathroom was clean, and there were no bed bugs, thank God!! The room was clean, but I did drop a star for the dated furniture, and the bed clearly needs to be replaced. The mattress squeaked, and it was concave down the middle. Mmmhmmm!! I saw reviews complaining about the chairs, so I did what I had to do and used a towel to cover it since I had some work to get done on my laptop. The TV is also small and dated, but it worked. I didn't cook anything, but I was glad to have a fridge and microwave. Some reviews also mentioned that they provide pots, pans, and utensils, but I didn't see anything except for a trashcan under the sink. My door keys also took quite a few tries before it worked. They need to fix that. Overall, my stay was good. Parking is free, but be sure to place the placard on your rear view mirror. I didn't get the grab-and-go brekkie that they offer because my plans for the following day included eating, as usual, haha! They also don't have any toiletries (except bar soap in the tub and by the bathroom sink) or a hair dryer, so bring your own. This place is definitely not luxurious, but if you just need a night or two, it'll get the job done. Beware that this is a pet friendly hotel, so keep that in mind. I didn't hear any dogs barking during my stay, but I did see a few walking through the halls. I'm just glad it didn't smell like dogs. I hope they make some upgrades soon, but I'm glad there isn't any carpet in the rooms anymore. I'd stay again, but I'll look around for better options next time. So, my experience with Hilton and this property is vast. This property a few years ago did go through an upgrade to the front entrance, lobby, front desk area, and the main dining area that is beyond the lobby. The remodel or update though done a few years back is excellent. It is very inviting and exactly what you would expect from a Hilton Embassy Suites property. Devin and the front desk team are exceptional! Prompt, professional, and very customer service oriented. Beyond those two notable items in which this property shines, it falls off a steep cliff after that! The rooms are dated. They are dingy. They are marked up, beat up and rusted in various parts of the rooms (or at least the ones I have stayed in). Some of the rooms have drawers that do not close so they are open. Some of the phones do not work int he rooms. Lamp fixtures are crooked because they are old and just beat up. There are stains on sofa's, walls, counter tops, etc. In the shower, there are yellow rust stains and cracks throughout. Toilet paper simply doesn't stay on the bar so it's often rolling off and onto the floor. Housekeeping is lack luster. Trying to get a room that has the adequate towels, wash clothes, coffee, etc. is almost comical at this point. The parking garage which they now charge for is consistent with other Hilton properties, but the issue is it's old. I am not sure who owns the garage as the salon next door uses it as well. The spaces are narrow. Trash builds up in the cans. Lots of areas taped off. Some cracks and pipes that have either leaked or previously caused damage. While it is a park at your own risk, I would expect Hilton to have these issues fixed to be a better space for their guests who do need to park there. The property is in a great location for restaurants, nightlife, shopping etc. It's just gotten to the point that Hilton needs to overhaul the rooms and garage at this point. Staying at a Hampton Inn these days, trumps this property and that is just sad.

Still love this hotel! It's been a year since I've visited and the service, facilities, parking and…read morerooms are top notch. Still feels brand new! The staff are all lovely and this time I even checked out happy hour at the bar. Shoutout to Ethan my bartender and the chef who took great care of me (loved the wings with spicy peach sauce!). It's quiet and has comfortable beds. And also the breakfast is plentiful and freshly prepared. A great place for families about a 15-20 minute drive to Disney or for a local staycation. Only 1 mile to the Brea Improv and restaurants in downtown Brea!

Went on a short trip to Southern California and stayed at the Residence Inn because it was close to…read moreour destination. The hotel was very nice, with a welcoming lobby and an easy, smooth check-in process. Our room was clean, spacious, and well laid out. It had two queen-size beds and a sofa bed, plus a separate kitchen and dining area with a TV and a separate bedroom. The extra space made it very comfortable and never felt cramped. The beds and pillows were decent and allowed for a good night's rest. Breakfast was included each morning, and the options were plentiful and tasty. The breakfast area was clean and well organized. We also took advantage of the pool for a quick swim and really enjoyed the patio area, which featured fire pits and a nice seating setup. Overall, it was a great stay. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I'm in the area or visiting Disneyland.
