My shower was absolutely beautiful at this location
Irene L.

This place is excellent for events! Baby showers, bridal showers weddings you name it! My bridal was thrown here and was absolutely beautiful!! The staff and services were exceptional as always. I haven't had the pleasure of staying the night there but I'm hoping to in the near future.

They appear to be out of business. Their website is not operational and the phone just rings.

The location was very convenient to my destination and I appreciated how there were so many restaurants within a short driving distance. Staff were very friendly, the lobby, eating area, and rooms were clean, and overall the aesthetic and vibe of this space was great! An honorable mention goes out to the breakfast that is included! There was quite the variety of offerings, including cereals, milk, coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, a salsa bar, breakfast proteins (aka sausage), fruits, yogurt, granola, and a variety of baked goods. WOWZA, did they have a whole lot! I also appreciated the hot sauce, salt, and pepper packets that they had which are a MUST for me anytime I have eggs. I highly recommend this hotel for folks looking to have a comfortable stay, that want breakfast included, and to be at a convenient location for all the things that Orange has to offer!

This last bit was very important to me as I know that some of the hotels right near the parks can get a little gross. This was not the case here. It's clear that someone's taken a lot of care to really rehab this place and make it something special. The decor is so charming and it really feels like a little oasis on Harbor Ave. It is expensive don't get me wrong but you pay for convenience here. From the hotel to the security entrance, it's about a 10 minute walk. That on top of the free breakfast and aforementioned free parking make this place a no-brainer. I should also mention that there is a shuttle to the park, if you prefer that, it runs around every hour. Unfortunately, we came to Anaheim during one of the worst heat waves we've ever experienced, but the Candy Cane Inn came through with the stellar AC. This was a great retreat during hot days to cool off and catch up on sleep before heading back to the park after sunset. My only beef is they need to add a path between here and Avengers Campus since we're right next door! It would be so convenient.

Plus a free buffet breakfast for me and my family that had pancakes that weren't frozen, just made eggs, hot links, and sausages. filled and grateful bellies all around. this was a great place to have lunch and dinner as well, as the restaurants dining room was well lit and had smart and decorative but not over the top types of furniture incompatible with comfort. Well stocked bar as well that just looked to be a warm and fun place to hang. Great space for evenings and after work events as well. This hotel is a perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend and/or pit stop from the parks or the office. On the service side, I asked some of the housekeepers for towels and they stopped what they were doing and dropped what they had in their hand, honestly I was kind of embarrassed, and ran over, and grabbed it for me. Also the front staff filled up my water container when my wife and daughter were thirsty when the gym had been past closing time on two separate occasions by two separate staff, so it must be how they are treated, because the staff treat their guests with respect and generosity. Please don't quote me. They're about a 10 min drive to the Parks. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy buuuuut the bathroom's kind of tight. For this stay, we did not bring the dogs but figured we'd just stay at ALO. We stayed in room 621 and yeah, the bathroom was small. If you're a pretty tall person, you'd definitely be head butting the shower head. They offer free breakfast. Eggs, bacon, cereal, toast, you know, the basic hotel free breakfast. There is a swimming pool. Staff's nice and accommodating when needed.

Guess what, no tickets in sight, not a one! Had to back out of there and pray to god that they didn't have those backward spikes to shred your tires. They had a some spots for checking in but alas they were taken up by the maintenance crews! I had to park in a handicap spot and call the front desk to open the gate and let me in. Ridiculous! Once I got that taken care of I headed up to the room where I found the mini refrigerator was on to the maximum cold level and it was warm and to boot it buzzed. I tried to make the best of it and decided to make some coffee. The water leaked out all over the counter. I took a quick shower before heading out to meet up with my friends and it literally took 10 minutes before it got warm enough to use. Then the faucet dripped non stop. I called to see if i could change rooms and was told that if I did that the entire reservation would change as well including the price and since I paid more than what the hotel is worth I declined. I have two more days in this dump and then I am gone! I was better off with a motel 6. Customer service was rude! This hotel is not accommodating one bit.

It's no secret that the place is pricey, but you pay for the convenience that can come in clutch depending on your situation. It's a stunning hotel, andI love how it reminds me of the Ahwahnee Hotel. The place gives me a double whammy of heart-felt nostalgia feels as I grew up going to Disney and Yosemite. Overall customer service was excellent. Cast members were friendly, but the concierge goes above and beyond. I really appreciated them helping us with a scooter rental on the spot for my mom, who has a torn meniscus. During our stay, we stayed on the club level and took full advantage of The Veranda Lounge. The lounge offered food at 4 times through the day: continental breakfast, afternoon tea, "happy hour," and desserts. The snacks and unlimited beverages were worth it, and you could take them with you to the pool and to the parks. One one of the days, we spent some time at the pool around 4pm. The place seemed pack, but we quickly learned that many chairs didn't have returning occupants despite seeming to be reserved. We were able to snag 4 chairs with umbrellas. Not all chairs had umbrellas, which was unfortunate. My only complaint was that service felt very slow. Lastly, the rooms were great. Our room had 4 adults, and the space didn't feel cramped at all. The bed and pillows were comfortable to me, and I felt like I had restful nights of sleep.

I can't blame them.. The rooms and hallways are outdated and uncared for. The prices are astronomical to the point of a con job. The magic here is long gone, they play on your nostalgia to get you in and then completely rip you off. I've been to Disneyland and this hotel a few times over the years and it's gone so far downhill there's really no way I see them recovering. I will for sure not be back to this hotel or Disneyland again in its current form.

The venue was beautiful with Disney-theme backdrops on the stage. The table decorations were pretty. The food was great also. It may depend on the reception package, but we got a 3-course menu. I did wish that they provided a menu card so we had an idea of what we were getting. For the starter, we had scallops which were perfectly cooked 4.5/5. The bacon toppings were a bit salty. It would be nice if they gave us the bread together rather than closer to the middle of the dining experience. For the second course, we had gumbo which was pretty decent 4/5. For the last course, we got steak 4.5/5. The steak was tender and nicely seasoned. The accompanying vegetables were okay. At the end, they even had a churro and ice cream stations for desserts. Servers were nice overall. It looked like they also allowed third-party vendors for the event. For the celebration we attended, there was a caricature artist, a magician, and even massage therapists. After a long drive, we were exhausted, our baby was crying, and our child was tired and ready to rest. When you're paying thousands of dollars for a Disney stay, waiting an additional three hours for your room is unacceptable. What made it even more frustrating was trying to get help. I spent a long time on hold and was passed around to different people on the phone. By the time I finally reached someone, they couldn't really do anything for us other than apologize. I felt like nobody wanted to take the responsibility or actually help resolve the situation. I understand delays can happen, but when a guest is traveling with young children and paying this much for a room, there should be better communication and some effort to make things right. Other than the check-in experience, the rest of our stay was just average. Nothing else really stood out enough to make up for such a terrible start to the trip. Unfortunately, for the amount of money we paid, I expected much better service from Disney.

Homewood Suites Anaheim Resort - Convention Center has become our family's go-to hotel for…read moreDisneyland trips, and with three kids, it solves the accommodation problem better than almost any other Hilton property we've found in the area. The hotel is relatively modern and has been maintained extremely well. Rooms have consistently been very clean, and there are a surprising number of configurations designed for larger families. Depending on the room, you'll find bunk beds, separate sleeping areas, and layouts that give mom and dad at least some separation from the kids at the end of the day. That's harder to find around Disneyland than it should be, particularly within the Hilton portfolio. The lobby is large, bright, and airy, with plenty of seating, a good snack/market area, and Disney+ seemingly always playing for the kids. The complimentary breakfast is the typical Homewood Suites buffet, but the breakfast area itself is enormous. It gets very busy in the morning--as you'd expect at a Disneyland hotel--but we've generally been able to find somewhere to sit even during the rush. The pool is OK. Nothing particularly special, but perfectly adequate for letting the kids burn off whatever energy Disneyland somehow failed to extract from them. Service has consistently been friendly and helpful. The property is also surprisingly easy to get in and out of for a hotel this busy. Two elevators keep things moving reasonably well, and multiple exits provide quick access to different parts of the parking lot. Parking is gated and does carry an additional fee, which is worth factoring into the room rate. Disneyland is walkable from the hotel, although I'd put an asterisk next to "walkable." With school-age kids it's very manageable; with toddlers or younger children, the distance becomes considerably less appealing--particularly at the end of a long park day. The location also works well for travelers who aren't visiting Disneyland, as the Anaheim Convention Center is very close. For families, especially loyal Hilton members, this is an outstanding option. There are hotels closer to the parks and certainly hotels with better pools or more upscale amenities, but very few combine the room configurations, cleanliness, breakfast setup, location, and family-friendly common areas as well as this one. While we are moving out of the stage of life where this may be the case, for our previous trips with kids ranging from 2-8, it's served our family, extremely well. -AC
