I was very impressed with this DoubleTree. The room we stayed in had 2 queen beds, a desk, and a bathroom. Additionally, there was a mini fridge, a TV, and a Keurig for coffee or tea. The room was spacious and more than comfortable enough for the 3 of us. The grounds were also very nice and there was a lovely outdoor area with a pool that I would've enjoyed had I been staying here longer than one night. I especially appreciated the fact that parking was not an additional charge and the complimentary cookies were absolutely delicious! Overall, I would definitely consider coming here again if I needed to stay in the area.

Staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Buena Park is all about convenience done right. The location is literally adjacent to the 91 freeway exit, which feels like winning a small travel lottery, and it's super close to Knott's Berry Farm with Disneyland and other Southern California attractions just a short drive away. The hotel is well kept and clearly feels recently renovated, so everything looks fresh, modern, and comfortable. Every team member I interacted with was genuinely pleasant and helpful, which always sets the tone for a good stay. And yes, the warm cookie at check in absolutely still works on me and feels like the perfect welcome. Free parking this close to theme parks is a huge bonus and honestly sealed the deal for me.

Ahhh, another night, another hotel... and why not the DoubleTree where you get a warm cookie just for checking in?!? The price was right which was nice given I made the reservation on the same day. Hitting up the Hilton app, I did see there were some great deal that day... but most of them had these crazy parking fees. So, it was nice that this location doesn't have all that extra up charging... I was a little disappointed that upon check in that I had to wait a little bit for my room. I guess I'm spoiled from having crazy early notices go through the app saying my room is ready... but I was pretty tired and just wanted to check in. I didn't have to wait long though! My room was on the second floor in the main building. The second floor is nice because you can take stairs in the lobby or the elevator. Get those steps in! My room overlooked the pool area which looked nice, with a large hot tub. As I was traveling for work and it was also pretty cold/rainy... I just peeped out at the braver or arguably more fun people who were enjoying the pool area at different times. But just a brief little looksie... nothing weird ... I swear.... Wasn't like I was telling myself that I could TOTALLY hold my breath longer under water than everyone or anything... The room itself was clean and a nice little set up. Wish it had a microwave but there was a refrigerator. Lots of counter space and a little sitting area. Not dark and everything was welcoming. The bed was comfortable and I was snoring my way through yet another night in no time! The area has a lot of places to eat around it. So you won't be disappointed. Lots of Korean food! I ended up doing an Uber Eats order because of the rain. In all this was a surprisingly good choice for under $150 a night with taxes!

An update for my prior trip I had a great experience utilizing the shuttle to Disneyland. The times are about every two hours which for the price is somewhat expected but if you're not an early bird like me, you may have to take the later shuttle towards 11 I did come for an event night at Disney so I did have to Uber back to the hotel but the shuttle there was super smooth and I did a three day trip at this hotel and each time I had a different driver and all of the drivers were so sweet and had great advice for what to try in the area. The stuff here were super kind and I was so glad to get my complementary cookie. There is a bit of noise if you're on the second floor, but that is expected in the hallways, you can kind of hear what's going on in folks's room whether TVs are on or not there's no microwaves in the hotel room, so expect to go to the first floor in the lobby to find the microwave by the ice Machine. I do wish there was microwaves in the room as it would make it so much easier to just have some hot and ready food when I want overall I think this is a great hotel if you're going to Knotts Berry farm or Disneyland on a budget still having that shuttle take you to the park is such a lifesaver at the end of the night when you don't wanna walk a whole mile to a different hotel I definitely will be returning as the rates at this hotel are great!

Yelp Review: DoubleTree by Hilton - 3 Stars. The hotel deserves 2 stars while the staff deserves five stars. Let me explain. I had high hopes for this DoubleTree, especially after hearing so much about their famous cookies. Check-in was smooth, and we were assigned Room 232. However, the experience quickly went downhill when we noticed ants--lots of them--crawling around the room. It was past 12:30 AM, and I called the front desk four times with no answer. Frustrated, I went to the lobby and met a friendly security guard, Mr. Rodriguez, who was also unsure where the front desk staff was. After a few minutes, Humberto, the front desk employee, appeared, explaining he'd been handling another issue. Understandable, but still inconvenient. I told him about the ants, and he promptly moved us to Room 251. I was hoping for an upgrade to make up for the hassle, but it was the same standard room. Humberto did offer us complimentary breakfast, which was a nice gesture. Dragging our bags to the new room after 1:30 AM was exhausting, especially with tired kids in tow. To our dismay, Room 251 also had ants! I called Humberto again, and to his credit, he quickly arranged another room, 261. He personally checked it for ants, which took some time, but we appreciated the effort. Unfortunately, it was another standard room--no upgrade. Room 261 was decent but had its own issues: no body soap in the dispenser and a clogged sink (hair and not from us) that required a maintenance call. How can housekeeping clean a room and not refill the dispensers? As for the famous DoubleTree cookie, it was a letdown. The cookies were hard, maybe because it was so late. The next day I gave the cookies another crack and wowzers they were good this time. I am a believer. The complimentary breakfast at Ventana was a highlight. The food was solid, and the restaurant staff were warm and attentive, with no complaints there. Overall, the staff was kind and tried to help, especially Humberto and Rodriguez. But the multiple room issues, ants, and maintenance problems were too much for one stay. Would I return? Probably not. Too many hiccups unless management convinces me to come back without hiccups.

I'm going to rate their catering food, not so much the hotel as I didn't stay there. I attended a party there and the food was amazingly good. I was surprised. The chicken and the salmon. Wow! I'm not a big salmon guy, but it was fresh, nit dried, and the flavor was so good. And the beef. Let's just say I came back for seconds and thirds. It was that good! Their salad was pretty good as well. Overall, the food was excellent. Don't let hotel food fool you. The chef here deserves a lot of credit! I hope my friend will host more parties here. For Thinsulin fans, there's many green light options here.

My family and I have stayed here a couple times when we visit Disneyland. There is no charge for parking and they also have a complimentary shuttle to Disneyland which is a plus. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. We did have a problem on one visit when the shower stopped working after my daughter used it. Luckily they were able to move us to another room.

We enjoyed our stay at Hilton Buena Park. It's walking distance to The Source which is a nice mall with tons of food options. It also has a restaurant and coffee shop of its own so you don't have to go far. There is a shuttle to Disney, Buena Park Mall, and Knotts. It's a great central location to other destinations. We felt safe and had friendly service. My only complaint is that there was a bug in the shower, ew! But other than that, a comfortable stay for a great price.

Going to Disney or Knott's Berry Farm? Want free parking, yes please! Free shuttle to Disneyland, double yes DoubleTree! All the reasons why I booked this hotel. I mean they greet you with a warm chocolate chip cookie! It's good & definitely got devoured. Who knew DoubleTree does this? Apparently I didn't & Ofc I got suckered in for that haha. Warning, it has nuts in it. DoubleTree Hilton in Buena Park was a good place for my son & I to relax & spend the night. I wanted us to get up early & start the day, without having to worry about LA & SD traffic getting to Disneyland. & not having to worry about parking at DLand too... I would of reserved for another night at DoubleTree after DLand, Bec for sure we were super tired. But, we both agreed that we needed to get back to our homes since we work the next afternoon. Cons: The bathroom in our room had a little stench, but it was bearable. I didn't have time to let them know. Not walking distance to the park. It's about a 15-20 min shuttle ride to DLand. We didn't utilize the pool or jacuzzi Bec there was a big group hanging out at the time. FYI's: Book thru Hilton to get your rewards. I booked thru a 3rd party (Capital One Travel) prepaid & got a discount. But, didn't get the Hilton rewards. Breakfast is not included, unless you booked w/ the breakfast option. When you check in, don't forget to get a parking pass, for each vehicle, for overnight parking... Big Parking Lot, but parking ended up being full by evening. Make a Reservation at reservation counter for DLand. There's also a phone number to text & make reservations. You have to choose pick up times for both Hotel Pick Up & Park Pick Up. Plenty of food options nearby & walking distance. There's also an outdoor mall across the street. Overall, had a good experience staying here. Great service from Kayla at the front desk. And, I can't forget to thank Dave & Ray who were our Shuttle Drivers! TYSM!!

Fantastic place! Every part of the entire hotel was clean and fresh. The free breakfast every morning was awesome! You order from the menu in the hotel restaurant. The location is 1 mile from knits berry farm and has many food choices within walking distance. Room was so clean and spacious. The pool and surrounding areas were so nice and comfortable. Highly recommend this gem!

The two-queen room I got had a balcony facing the courtyard / pool area, so that was nice, but the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, even with the air running (I mentioned it to the front desk so I wouldn't get hit with a smoking charge on my account). I did appreciate the empty fridge to store leftovers and drinks and the ability to stream from YouTube on the TV, so I could have what I wanted to watch and listen to for background noise while in the room. On the other hand, there were some perks of staying here. The most convenient thing is that Porto's is across the street. Trust me when I say, do not drive over to Porto's. Take advantage that you're at the hotel across the street and walk over to save time! There's also lots of uncovered parking on both sides of the property, so you can pick where to park to be closer to get to your room, though it's an open lot, so anyone can come in and out and there's no shelter from the rain. The lobby area has been renovated and is really nice if you need the space and quietness to do some work, wait for your room to be ready, or just to hang out. Staff was pretty awesome too. We had to blow up some balloons and they allowed us the use of an empty meeting room so that we do not disturb anyone in the lobby.

Overall, great experience & I would stay again because of the convenience located next to the park. When I was growing up, I would visit Knotts Berry Farm almost every single year from the time that I was five all the way to 13 or 14 years old. I am currently 38 and I haven't been to the park in over 20 years. This was a spur of the moment trip and our family lives about eight hours away from the park. We're from Northern California. So it was really convenient to do a bundle package and get all our tickets included and our hotel stay and our breakfast. Pros- hotel room size. We had two kings and a pull out couch and the room felt very large. It had a bar area, coffee pot, small fridge, a sink outside the bathroom & the bathroom with a tub/shower combo. I had to wash bottles so I really did appreciate the sink outside of the bathroom. Large families-- it's able to accommodate large families. Soooo nice!!! I looked at a lot of hotels and a lot of them would only offer two queen beds. Clean- things were clean and pretty lobby Shop- inside the hotel is a shop and you get a discount when you shop there as a hotel guest. But I also found the boysenberry tea that was sold out of the rest of the park there. Breakfast- our particular package came with breakfast. So you have to make a breakfast reservation in the morning and it included a buffet breakfast. Which was probably one of the best buffet breakfast I've ever had and I was especially surprised at how good the eggs were. Restaurant/coffee- there is a coffee shop and a restaurant on site. I tried the buffet breakfast out of the restaurant which was delicious, but I did not try any of the food but it's really nice to have that accommodation. Con -poor water pressure - difficulty figuring out how turn on the lights in the bathroom - coffee pot in a place where small children can get it - elevator door. We had a situation where our son was entering the elevator as soon as somebody exited, and the doors immediately started closing it on him and it didn't stop or reopen even though the door was actually touching his arm. I was pushing a stroller and there were people in my path as I trying to get to our son to put my arm in there or get him out. Thankfully a man who was standing right next to the door saw the danger and play both of his hands on the elevator door, trying to pry it open, and it still was trying to close. Thankfully it Finally opened! Our son was ok & I let the bellhop know about the situation. Per the bellhop the elevator doors are known to close quickly. I did let the manger know and asked her to check the cameras to review the situation. I do wish someone would let me know if the situation was looked into. I would totally stay again. I thought it was pretty comparable to what other hotels were charging plus it included our tickets and it had different hotel packages and it was on site. I do wish we had stayed an extra night. And I would definitely return.

We stayed at Knott's Hotel for a week. Overall, it was okay -- not amazing, but not terrible…read moreeither. Housekeeping came daily and kept the room tidy, which we appreciated. Bathroom cleanliness was acceptable, nothing noticeably dirty. The beds were decent, though not the most comfortable for a longer stay. One issue we ran into was the bed frame corners -- they stick out and are quite sharp. Both I and my kids ended up with multiple bruises throughout the stay, so that's something families should be aware of. Noise was moderate -- you can hear some hallway activity, but it wasn't unbearable. The fridge is very small, so don't plan on storing much food if you're staying multiple days. There also weren't many outlets, which made charging devices a bit inconvenient. On the plus side, there is a good amount of storage space for clothes. However, there's only one mirror -- with three ladies in one room, that made getting ready a bit challenging, especially with the tiny bathroom. The bathroom itself is very small with limited counter space. The pool was just okay, but the water wasn't great for our hair -- whether it's saltwater or the chemicals, it really dried out and damaged my daughter's hair. Parking is free for one car if you book directly through the Knott's website, but it's $25 per day for each additional car. The biggest advantage is the location -- it's very close to Knott's Berry Farm, which makes it convenient for families. We ended up skipping the Boysenberry Festival because the lines were too long, but it was nice being close enough to go back and forth easily. Overall, it's a convenient option if your main goal is proximity to the park, but it's more of an average stay than a comfortable or relaxing one.

We literally had to wait until someone walking up used their key to open the doors. I asked if those weren't the main doors (because there is another set across), and was told they are - just locked 24/7. I respect security for employees but... 2:45pm and check-in, in general, is 3:00pm. So how long until they were actually going to help us get in if that person hadn't come along?? The service with them was whatever. Basic check in and I had already completed the pre check in. Got our key and we're set for the 7th floor. The location is dirty and has stains everywhere and is outdated and not kept up on - or bare minimum kept up on. There is tagging on the metal of the elevators as well. The ice machine was working but leaking and they left this big puddle of water and just added a sign. Nothing to absorb it. We were really excited for a jacuzzi night. So we go down and have an issue with our room key not working. He had to jump the gate to get us in, to just see the jacuzzi blocked off because it's closed by the health inspector for improper pH levels and something else. So now we get our room key fixed and head up disappointed even more. The water came out brown at first for the shower and the pressure was horrible (as in lack of). I was extremely disappointed at the money spent as the last La Quinta Inn By Wyndham I had stayed at was amazing. This was just not it. We decided we were checking out the next am after their continental breakfast. The continental breakfast? Mini muffins, bagels and cereal. The self making waffle makers were not on. Just a cherry on top of lack of "continental breakfast". The only good employees we interacted with was Jose at night with our room key and Ally in the morning when checking out. The bed was satisfactory enough to sleep on and I did like that you can control your own temp in your room. I've been to older and/or historical hotels and have enjoyed their charm but they still kept up with basics. I feel they are just gonna let this place get run down and close it. I do not recommend coming here.

Let's start with the actual check-in process. When I walked in, I felt a slight attitude from the women that worked behind the counter. I felt like I was bothering them to check in and did not really feel welcomed. The room itself is quite old and small, but did the job as it was only for me and two minor boys. However, there are a few things that I noticed off hand that were just strange and not up to the Marriott standards that I'm used to. First off the TV was very small and did not work. The AC unit was tricky because you could not set an exact temperature you could only set it to cool or hot and warm your room or cool your room down and then be forced to get up and turn it back off. That is absolutely ridiculous. You should be able to be comfortable at a certain temperature in your room as if you were at home. Also, the drape over the window is just a little bit strange and could be a curtain or something a little bit nicer. The actual room came with two queen, beds, a desk, a random chair in the corner. There was no safe in the room, which I guess you can ask for one at the front desk. They also don't clean your room every day so you have to ask for clean towels. However, when I came back a second day and asked for clean towels, I was told they were washing some? That was really strange. I felt like they should always have some handy. Was it really that busy there that they ran out of towels? Also, the guy that came to fix the TV was just really sketchy and I did not understand what he was saying. And why does the TV not have at least a TV guide. In order to watch the TV you have to just constantly hit the channel button and you don't even know what you're trying to find to watch. So I barely used the TV. The bathroom was also something to be left to be desired. They did not give us a tub mat, which was interesting. Luckily my boys are old enough that they don't need one, but I thought that hotels normally give those. Also, there was no extra toilet paper and I had to ask for some at the front desk. They literally give you one makeup wipe, a tiny bar of soap, no lotion and the shampoo and conditioner and body wash are stuck on the wall, which is pretty standard down from some hotels. The hotel lobby is just basic. The breakfast is so so and it's something that's included so we took advantage. The first day we went we were able to sit down and enjoy a little bit of our food. However, the second day was extra crowded and we really just took our food to the room because there was nowhere to sit. We did not use the pool, hot tub or the fitness room so I cannot comment to any of those things. Now I have a question because if I am being charged incidentals? What is that I am being charged for because we did not use anything that we could actually charge. The TV did not have pay per view movies and when we went down to the lobby to get a couple of snacks we had to use our credit card to pay for them. What is the point of paying a deposit if there is nothing to charge to your room? Also the elevator is a little bit scary and quirky. You don't really know if you pushed the button or not and you don't really know which elevator is being called because nothing lights up. I did use the laundry area which is four dollars per wash and four dollars per dry and again had to use my credit card. Again, wondering why I had a credit card on hold for incidentals. With all the other options in the area, I don't think I will come here again. Again the location is fine because it's close to a Korean marketplace as well as a couple of eateries and again Knotts. However, there's other places you could stay that probably do the job better than this place. The owners of this hotel really need to read the reviews and update this place!

The lobby was very clean, neat, and there is a mini store, with most things a guest would need in a pinch. The restaurant had a great staff, good food, and clean establishment with TVs and a bar with booths and tables for dining. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, wifi is strong, and they have an iron, ironing board, refrigerator and microwave. Shower has shampoo, conditioner and bodywash attached to the shower wall, and water pressure is strong. There is also a business center and a café area with coffee, juice and muffins for folks on the go. The housekeeping staff and maintenance crews are attentive of guest needs and making sure guests are not inconvenienced. Overall, its a great location, with shopping close by and a large parking lot, which has ample parking in front and back and a Chick Fil A across from the hotel parking lot. Recommended!

Bed was comfy -king sized- and came with a couple different types of pillows. The AC worked well and this place is really old so the rooms are bigger than the new hotels and that was nice. Camryn at the front desk took good care of us and the check in text and follow up was appreciated. When on the area this is a decent place to stay.
