This is a very convenient location to the fields at Devens fields. Overall it's a fine place but I was disappointed with my stay as one of the rooms had a crack in the bathroom which was infested with ants. They did not have complimentary toiletries, and were out of extra pillows. The towels were raggedy and had strings hanging off of it.

We stayed for the weekend and were pleased with our room. Our room was very spacious and clean. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast which is fine. We were able to use their fitness center. They essentially had two thanks and an elliptical machine with a set of dumbbells and a bench. The gym was small but at least I was able to get a decent workout in. The room was super comfortable, it had a sofa, desk area to work at along with a mini kitchen set up. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would use it again.

Let me just start by saying I'm not really a fan of Springhill Suites hotels. I've had some bad experiences in the past and this one was one of those times. They just don't seem to care about maintaining their rooms. The water takes forever for it to get hot, the shower curtain rod is falling off the wall (notice how in the picture it leans so bad you can't even pull the shower curtain to the walls), the closet door is off the track and my favorite is the "master" switch. On my third day here, I go into my room and none of the lights will turn on. I think the power is out in my room and go down to the front desk to report it. They call the maintenance guy, he goes up to my room with me and I notice the "master" switch is down. He says, there's your problem. Like I'm supposed to know that controls all the lights. This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a hotel room. Why would you ever need to turn off all the lights with one switch? They should remove that switch, might help them avoid a bunch of calls about the power being out.

I am a Titanium Elite Marriott member which means that I don't stay anywhere else except under the Marriott brands. I have been travelling all over the world and this hotel is by far the worst hotel from my personal experiences. I have attached pictures to the room that they call "after serviced" and "cleaned" room. I actually talked to the housekeeper to do my room before I left the hotel. And this was what I got when I walked into the room at 5 pm. I got nothing except new towels!! I was supposed to stay here for five nights, but I had to leave and find a new hotel.

A nice place to stay if you have something in this area. This area is not really convenient to Boston or most attractions in Massachusetts. My husband had business in the area and I tagged along with the kids. Although this hotel is fairly new it looks and feels very old. The hotel overall was very clean though. We had a room with two queen beds and a pull out sofa. The room was adequate for five of us but could've been a bit more spacious. The toilet had hardly any pressure and got clogged on us a couple of times during our stay. There is really not much in this area besides Fort Devens. It looks like they are still adding stores around the hotel. There is a Dunkin Donuts, pizza place and grill within the same complex. On thing to note here. Fort Devens is still an active military base that does reserves training. One morning I was woken up at the crack of dawn to the sounds of reveille. If you plan on staying here follow their Facebook page for noise bulletins.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. Generally the rooms are cleanish. This time, that was not the case. The room was not cleaned and during covid the rooms are not cleaned each night. There was a dirty facecloth hanging in the shower. Kids finger prints all over the night stands and the tv. Stains on the sheets are nauseating.

    Light switch in bathroom

The staff was pleasant enough but wow was this hotel rundown. It was also the weirdest layout of a room. We had a blood stain on the carpet, mirrors being held together with scotch tape and more. If all you need is a place to sleep before moving on and require nothing more it's ok. Bed was clean but sorta slouched in the center, one tv in the room that could not be seen from second bed unless you squint. There's empty usable space on the wall across from beds but only one tv that has to be turned in either the living room area or bedroom, weird. The continental breakfast isn't worth the price and it's free so...

Dirty grout in bathroom really gross.

Beds like rocks, very old. Rugs are super dirty with stains. The place is large and has so much potential but feels like motel 6 level but for $150 a night. The front desk staff was very nice as was housekeeping. It just seriously needs a good cleaning and a bit of a facelift. See attached pictures of bathroom (torn wall paper and what is extremely disgusting dirt (not sure if mold) in bathroom but it could be cleaned it grossed me out and a couple strains of bugs were crawling along that dirty grout (only saw two bugs but if clean they most likely would be there). It was a quiet but just not comfortable for sleeping

I actually really enjoyed this little area, there was a great shopping center that was just across the way with lots of options. The rooms were nice and had a little couch seating area and a fridge and microwave which is always nice for a long stay like my fiancé had. I also loved the downstairs area. I went and worked down there on my laptop one of the days in a comfy couch that had its own little tv to watch something too. I'm also a big person about AC in hotel rooms and this one did live up to my normal expectations because I like a cold room. If you are staying in this area definitely a great spot to stay.

I was told you can only get it well done. Red flag went up. The burger was like a Bubba burger. It was disgusting. I left a review with the hotel only to be debated and challenged on the issues. I called the Marriott complaint line only to be laughed at and then the woman would not give me her name and hung up on me. I called back, got someone else named "carol" on the phone. As I'm explaining the issues to her, under her breath she utters " oh my god". I called her out on the comment and she didn't apologize, just told me to take it up with the hotel. I thought I was when I called the complaint line. I've stayed in hotels though out the country and many other countries. This was by far the worst stay ever. Never again!! Room 329 if no one believes me. Let me know what your socks look like after walking on the carpet.

There is a short trial behind this hotel that I really had hoped to be able to adventure into, but as I traveled in winter, daylight was limited. The only negatives of this hotel were the over hot heater and underhot shower temperatures. Perhaps folks don't have the same need as I do to scald my soul during showers, but alas, my California blood needs to boil to start my day. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

My only issue was the two bedrooms were supposed to have two queens and one bedroom only had a full. I drew the short straw and got that bed but since sleeping solo, it wasn't a huge issue. BUT- I do think you should get the room with the amenities in your reservation. Staff was helpful, checking in was a breeze and the whole property was pretty spotless. I'd book again.

This beautiful wooded oasis is just up the hill from Fitchburg State University. The home is lovely, with three upstairs rooms available for guests. With our family along, we spent time in two of the rooms. The Harvard is spacious and has a great shower with streams from two sides. What a luxurious experience! The Hudson is also roomy with a serene view of the pool and the back woods (and chicken coop!). It has a jetted tub, so very relaxing, and a shower too. The beds are huge and comfortable, with what must be a pillow-top on the tall firm mattress. These might be the most comfortable rooms we've ever stayed in at a B&B! Breakfast is freshly made with several delicious options from a menu where you make you selections the night before. The eggs are fresh from their own chickens! The hosts Sarah and Ryan served us in a well-lit "Florida Room" with a view of the flower-garden. And we saw a hummingbird flitting among pink and lavender flowers! On the first floor, in addition to the breakfast room, there's a kitchenette with complimentary beer and soft drinks and snack bars, single-serve coffees, and tea bags with a hot and cold water dispenser, (and both milk and cream, thx!). There is a large comfortable sitting room, where we spent part of a pleasant evening with the friendly owners, swapping travel stories. And from there is an enclosed brick pathway to a rec room with a nice billiard table. To the left is the clean outdoor pool, or ahead is the open covered lighted porch with a ceiling fan, which has a step down to the pool. We took a few laps, then walked down and around to the patio with a fire-pit and a large jacuzzi. On an overcast September day, the pool was cool but not chilly, and the jacuzzi was warm with easy-to-adjust powerful jets. The chicken coop is hidden downhill a bit further, and there's no resident rooster so you might hear some cheerful clucking but no raucous crowing. It's just 1.5h by MBTA train from North Station in Boston to this tranquil hideaway. The hosts are charming and hard-working, always making improvements, always ready with friendly conversation. The price is of course a bit more than some local hotels, but not at all expensive, and our envious hotel-staying relatives all came by for a relaxing evening of wine on the porch.

As others mentioned there were no other options close by in the Harvard area to stay, so we decided to stay on site (even though I tried to find alternative arrangements). We arrived on Friday and found our room, which had only twin beds (the same for almost all rooms) but were yet to receive our linens (sheets/towels/pillow cases). We did get those later and as another reviewer mentioned they were very worn. You could also not bring in your own pillows or linens (as I had brought) and the party would be fined if they saw you doing so. The bathroom/showers which I saw were pretty outdated and dingy (except the ones near the front door which appear to be newer). They weren't unclean, but were just in desperate need of some TLC. We were also informed of a strict 5 minute shower policy which there are signs posted for in the bathroom. As most have said, it is very much a DIY venue, even so far as to washing your own dishes throughout the weekend. We did help out with a lot throughout the weekend which was fun helping our friends set up their wedding and be a part of it, but many times we would need to ask Mary or Keith (the owners of the property) for assistance or direction with a given task. Most of the time they were very friendly and helpful, but not all the time. I certainly understand they have a job to do, and tasks the Bride/Groom set up for them, and that helping me wasn't on their priority list, but at least be a little bit pleasant because we are paying you to be there. I would have to agree that the food they provided was excellent, and they were able to meet the needs of many dietary issues in our group. If I was reviewing only their food it would be 5 stars, no question. They used fresh ingredients and were very passionate about what came out of the kitchen. The other issue was the firewood. We were lectured that it was to be a "camp fire" and not a "bonfire". We were only provided with about 6 tiny pieces of wood to keep the fire going for our allotted 2 hours...and NO wood was to be put on after 11pm as the fire had to be completely out by midnight... It was nice to be able to just walk back to my room after the wedding/reception. The ceremony was beautiful set back under the trees on the lawn. If you are looking for a DIY wedding where you have to do just about everything for set up and break down then this is probably your place.

This venue has truly become a home for our event, thanks to its friendly and helpful staff, convenient location with ample parking, and a layout that works extremely well for a gathering of our size. We took over the entire conference center and all the sleeping rooms, setting up on Wednesday and staying through Sunday evening. It was a pleasure to collaborate with Elaine (Director of Sales), Habib (Food & Beverage Director), Ryan (Head Chef), Kristen (Front Desk), and Eric (General Manager) during our planning and throughout the event. Their professionalism, creativity, and willingness to accommodate our needs--including last-minute requests--made the process smooth and stress-free. This year, our festival welcomed over 600 attendees (fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, cello, and singing) and included more than 400 sessions. We had 20 traditional music concerts, 40 jam sessions, and 350+ workshops. The event managers and their teams were friendly, professional, and quick to respond to requests. Their attention to detail ensured great set-ups, and they worked behind the scenes to make the festival a success. The hotel's front desk staff deserve praise for their warm and helpful attitude, making our attendees feel welcome. The 14 function rooms, along with 5 suites and the Pub, were ideal for our needs. The hotel provided two recently tuned grand pianos. The 1,000 chairs we requested were comfortable, and water stations were restocked consistently throughout the event--a thoughtful touch. To streamline meal times, the hotel offered quick, delicious buffet dinners on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. They also set up a convenient food station near our registration area with tasty sandwiches, snacks, coffee, and fruit at fair prices. We didn't spend much time sleeping since the music jam sessions went late every night, but our rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall, this year's festival was a real success. The Westford Regency provided excellent value for both function and sleeping rooms. Its location, right off Route 495 between Routes 2 and 3, was easily accessible for attendees traveling from across the Northeast, and the 900 parking spaces were quite convenient. We've already reserved our dates for November 2025, and I highly recommend the Westford Regency to anyone seeking a comfortable, friendly, and affordable venue for a large event. This place truly goes above and beyond to make the experience memorable.
