Great library - has a nice quiet reading room, a fairly huge children's room, and a decent selection of periodicals, non-fiction, and fiction. Computers are a bit old, but they work fine. Internet service is fast and free. Staff are lovely.
This library participates in several inter-library loan partnerships in Vermont and possibly elsewhere - so if they don't have it, it's likely that they can get it pretty quickly.
We went to the Geek the Library event back in May - it was great! So many folks came, and lots of interesting geeks shared their particular interests - watershed conservation, Steampunkers, mead-makers, the Stringfield Springer bluegrass group, and the pedal-powered smoothie bike were some of my favorites! Hope it becomes a yearly event. The annual booksale (usually in July) is also fabulous! read more
