While the other guy just stood there not even greeting us. There was absolutely no Longbows, or Recurves. All bows were compound, and the feel was more centered around hunting. There was a range inside which seemed cool. But nothing for anyone other than compound shooters... No real shirts, or hat's except ones with deers on them. In fact the whole shop was littered with deer head's. I just wish this shop would realize that there are other bow user's out there other than hunter's. And that not everyone uses a compound. Not to mention to the gentleman who stood there just leering at us.. If you hate customer service, then don't get a job doing it.

I went to ask about lessons and he pretty much dismissed me to his employee. His customer service was very poor. The younger man who worked there was nice and the other customer that was standing at the desk were way more helpful than the owner. Anyway, I would never, ever give him my money for anything archery related. Because he was sorta rude and condescending. It may not have had anything to do with my gender, maybe he is rude to everyone, but I will think I will stick to Bass Pro or another range.

Management refused to send the proper bolts and arrows, assuming I just had to have the hardware because I collect nuts and bolts ! Ridiculous ! I just can't understand why a retailer wouldn't send assemble bolts and unprovided arrows? I would stay away from this place. Find one that gives the benefit of doubt to the customer and observes " the customer is always right" standard!

Hands down my favorite place to go for archery needs! This team is well educated, patient, and…read morethorough. As a beginner female in archery some places do not take me seriously, or talk over my understanding. The guys here were sure to explain things, were so patient with sighting everything in, and provided many helpful tips and tricks. We have an archery range at our house however love going in to the air conditioned range when it's so hot outside. This is my go to place and will be the only place we visit because they care about you and ensuring you are comfortable!

Friendly service and location was huge. Some area were three stories. Wide selection of almost everything you can think of from fishing, hunting, camping and much much more. There are some small restaurants and cafes inside in case you wanted to grab bite to eat. They have a fudge bar area and coffee shop (Black Rifle). They have an aquarium inside BPS, but by the time we arrived they were closed. Tickets were $46 per person. If you are in the area, I would stop by and check out the place. Glad I was about to check out the first BPS.

Went to Bass Pro (Springfield) yesterday to purchase a 22 rifle. Found what we wanted and the card…read moreon the gun said it also came with a 25 magazine, and the clerk said the same thing. After we selected the additional rail and flashlight, we completed the paperwork. We looked at everything we the gun, and my husband asked where the additional 25 mag. was. The manager said, "Oh, that's a typo on the card attached to the gun." My husband, "Well, that's your fault. Are you going to go ahead and honor your ad." Clerk, "No." My husband picked up his credit card and said, "Then we won't be buying the gun." We walked away. We were willing to pay Bass Pro's premium price on this gun, because we have bought other guns here and often shop here for other things. We like to support local businesses. But this situation comes down to principle. This clerks and manager were not willing to honor the store's advertisement. They would rather lose an $800 sale for the cost of a 25 mag. cartridge. Unbelievable. We will NEVER shop at Bass Pro again!!
