Wow! I literally can not say enough good things about this office and service we received! I was…read moreblown away by the service and care! My daughter has never met a dentist that didn't make her nervous or that didn't make her cry, until we came to Little Grins. The entire staff was so professional and Dr. Craig has a way of speaking to the kids that makes them so comfortable and at ease. My 5 year old daughter had such a pleasant experience here that she WANTS to actually go back! The entire office is so friendly and welcoming, the seats are adorable, the rooms are super colorful and the equipment is so high tech and fast. The waiting room play area and tablets for the kids are also a plus, and a great distraction! My daughter walked in there and sat right down, put on their headphones and watched a movie on the 3D tv as the dentist worked. The entire appointment was done quickly and efficiently and Dr. Craig gave good, professional opinions on treatments, whereas other offices we've been to have over diagnosed my daughter and didn't give us options. I love how he has the kids walk into the hallway to get a prize with the dental staff (after their appointment), and then talks to the parents about treatment options so the kids can't overhear/get scared about hearing the word "cavity." After taking my kids to three dental offices where they had terrible experiences at each time, I think we've found our new dentist :) This office does dentistry in such a welcoming and professional way!

And still loves going to the dentist. Never had a cavity neither. Since bringing my son here and loving the place the Dentist's son has aged along with mine and they play sports out of the same place. I can add that this man truly cares about kids. He's one of the few dads you'll see bringing his kid for some extra practice or to have fun. It's that same kind of caring and compassion you will see when you go here. His people skills as well as dental are unsurpassed. As can be expected. All his dental hygienist are stellar as well. If I ever move I'll more than likely be driving my kid to Springfield every 6 months. It would be that hard to go somewhere else after experiencing this.

The staff was fantastic, and the doctor was terrific. They spent a ton of time with our son, and really made him feel welcome. The Smile Spot did an amazing job showing great patience, and really made the process more than simply a checkup, it was a fun game. Overall, I highly recommend the Smile Spot.

He was so scared he swallowed the gunk in his mouth rather than let her get near him. She barely cleaned his teeth because she didn't know how to calm his anxiety, and left him with plaque and tartar still on his teeth. The dentist came in for five minutes and tried to sell me sealants. Then they charged me $250 for an x-ray, an incomplete cleaning, and a sales pitch. I still want to cry when I think about how much money I wasted. Fortunately, we have now switched to an absolutely amazing provider! Update: I received a letter of apology from the dental office after posting this review. It seemed quite genuine and is the reason I'm changing to 3 stars. Since I've found another provider, I won't be going back to Gardner, but I do appreciate that they apologized for the negative experience!

We have used this practice for 2 of my younger kids. The first time was great, general check up,…read morex-rays, cleaning. They both needed dental work. After excessive "are you scared" questioning by the tech and staff the kids decided the dentist must have something to be scared of. Work needed to be done so we decided to go the route of sedation and scheduled that. Fast forward a few months and my daughter ends up with an abscess, risk of procedure, we get it. We called for the entire day and never got through or a call back, had to go to her PCP for treatment. The next day this office called us to schedule a visit a week later. We go in for the visit and get xrays, the tech this day was sweet, but did end up accidentally stabbing the xray plate into my daughters gum, she cried a little because it hurt but didn't get worked up. She was great through the visit, but they did not schedule the time for the extraction and questioned who would prescribe us antibiotics. They worked us in the next day for the extraction. They started in with the excessive "are you scared" questioning again (same dentist she saw the very first time) told her dad she was "very emotional and worked up the day before", remember the ouch with the xray? Had her on nitrous for about 10 minutes without monitoring, told her dad they "would have given us options for sedation at her appt the day before" (the only option given was the nitrous) then told us they don't recommend sedation more than 1 time in a year because it isn't safe. All the while my daughter is laying there on nitrous really confused why no work is being done. She is 9, even home now she has no idea why they didn't do anything today. While I appreciate the concern for her experience, we have to worry about the tooth abscessing again. They spent more time trying to convince her to be scared than treating her. So, if you need a fun place for a cleaning this is your spot. If you need any dental procedures done find a place with a team who won't encourage fear to avoid doing it.

The dentists use their first names - are they not doctor's or do they feel by using their first names they are bringing themselves down to the patient's level. Just a lot of smoke and mirrors.

I had never had a dentist so concerned with my comfort level. Literally every few minutes he asks; are you okay? Making sure you are feeling no pain whatsoever. Upon my arrival I was truly impressed by the safe who "ALL" where extremely professional, and polite. The front, and rooms were very clean with a mellow Fung Shui feel. I received my cleaning from Lori, and later my numbing shots. And I can swear to you I never even felt a pinch! They treat you with the upmost respect no matter your dental condition. Dr. Papagayo has even taken time out of his busy schedule to talk to me on the phone, and squeeze me in when I'm worried about something.
