A few of us met up today for a Slowfood Crawl through the Crossroads Farmers Market. Starsia E kindly pointed me towards Say Cheese Fromagerie. There are more cheeses here than I know what to do with. Mr. Man behind the counter helped me find a couple of cheeses to bring home with me to drink with a glass of red wine. One of them is a kind of blue cheese, the other... I can't remember anymore, but it's not the gruyere. Helpful, right? Maybe Mr. Man will remember what it is. At any rate, he was great about finding out what my preferred cheese flavours were, asking me questions about how strong I like the flavour, whether I prefer cheddars, soft or hard cheeses, etc. before he brought out a couple of different kinds for me to sample. It's a good thing this cheese is might tasty, it makes me take small nibbles of it... why is that good? Because at $16ish for the two kinds (not large slices), my bank account would surely not appreciate my cheese adventures.
