There are more cheeses here than I know what to do with. Mr. Man behind the counter helped me find a couple of cheeses to bring home with me to drink with a glass of red wine. One of them is a kind of blue cheese, the other... I can't remember anymore, but it's not the gruyere. Helpful, right? Maybe Mr. Man will remember what it is. At any rate, he was great about finding out what my preferred cheese flavours were, asking me questions about how strong I like the flavour, whether I prefer cheddars, soft or hard cheeses, etc. before he brought out a couple of different kinds for me to sample. And the worker said she could not slice the loaves because their ancient slicing machine could not handle their sourdough products. There are several good sources for soutdough bread in Calgary. Prairie Mill is not one of them. When this place learns to bake properly and invests in proper equipment, I will give it another try. Until it ups its game, my advice is to stay away.
