Viola helps me keep my water perfectly balanced and crystal clear. Even though they charge more for chemicals than you can get on the internet, you will actually spend less money because they will keep the water balanced better so you buy less chemicals. I recommend having your water tested weekly for best results. Mark is an expert in all things pool related. He recommends the best fix not the most profitable. He has never steered me wrong. A waiver, a photo, register my guest again, now they need the guest photo, etc. Why can't all this have been done when I joined?? My membership includes 1 guest and I pay $40/month. Now that my daughter is home from college I asked to upgrade to the membership that allows 2 guests. They tell me my membership can't be upgraded and that the only way would be to cancel my current membership and sign up for a new one for $45/month. The catch...now I would have to pay a $188 initiation fee and another annual fee which i have already paid! Someone tell me why I canj just pay the additional $5 on my membership for the 2nd guest?!? No one is willing to explain other that my membership "can't do that." Absolutely ridiculous! Plan to cancel altogether and find a new gym!

This is a residents only pool and fitness center and from what I've experienced it's top notch!…read more Well equipped fitness room has treadmills, a universal weight machine, elliptical machines, and two televisions. The changing rooms are clean and include full showers, bathrooms, and plenty of lockers. There is a nice game room with a pool table and foosball as well. The clubhouse can be rented out for parties which is great for larger groups. The pool is surprisingly big with a separate smaller pool with some water features for children. Plenty of seating too. Outside there are tennis courts, sand volleyball courts and a basketball court. So all in all--plenty of things to do! I only have a few complaints. First, the gym is not open 24 hours. They provide a key card for access after the clubhouse closes but only until 10:00 pm. Then it reopens at 5:30 am. It would also be nice if they had free weights in the fitness room. I've noticed that the soap in the showers is never filled either. And there is nowhere to put your shampoo or hang your towel which I find very inconvenient every time I shower there. But overall a nice place--and you can't really complain since it's included with your HOA fee!

Because they don't have enough houses to elect a board,because centex went belly up. My experience at Goldfish Swim School in Plainfield was extremely disappointing and racially…read moreinsensitive. After my daughter's swim class 6/26 the manager, Michael, approached me on the pool deck in front of other families & children to accuse her of being "mean" to another child and allegedly using a curse word -- based solely on another child's word, without any investigation or proper handling. My daughter was and IS the only Black child in the class, and it felt clear that she was singled out and blamed without consideration for her side. I asked my daughter on the pool deck, and in the changing room what happened. She is 6 years old and a complete sweet heart who's mean to no one. She let me know that she did not say a bad word and that she only told the girl her and her board were to close to her and to move. Fine. After that we went into Michael's office to speak to him again before leaving because I wanted a better understanding of the situation. Michael tells me the same thing again that my daughter said a bad word and it seems like it was the "A" word and the girl "didn't want to repeat it" to really let us know what that word is, mind you on the pool deck he said she said a bad word but in his office it was she said the A word. he then goes on to say that the girl said my daughter said she was to close and said to move which my daughter said she did say. Later, Michael even admitted that the kids were too close to one another and were all frustrated -- yet mine was the only child held accountable. The way this was handled was completely unprofessional, dismissive, and racially biased. There was no investigation done whatsoever just blame the only black kid in class because that makes sense to do. If your child is a minority, I strongly urge you to be cautious about sending them here. They deserve to feel safe and respected -- not unfairly targeted or humiliated in public.
