    Chicken Sandwich
    Jack M.

This review is specifically for the chicken sandwich I ordered and not a reflection to the great water business they offer for the community. For and early dinner, I ordered the chicken sandwich which consisted of torn chicken breast, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, mustard, and mayo on toasted wheat bread served with a couple of pickle spears for just under five dollars. It was a pretty good sandwich, but unfortunately as soon as I heard the microwave pop open and its humming sound I feared for the chicken breast. Upon visualization and after my first bite, my fears were confirmed: the chicken breast was dry. It was unfortunate because the rest of the sandwich was great. Even though it was dry, the chicken did offer a good natural flavor. The cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and lettuce were all fresh and crisp. I appreciated that they toasted the wheat bread for added texture. If you do not like to much mayo, make sure you tell them easy on the may because they go a little heavy on it. The lady who took my order and made my sandwich was down to earth friendly and very helpful to customers with their water needs as I observed. I just which they would not microwave the chicken to warm it up. If they continue the practice, they should consider adding some moisture to the bowl with the chicken so that it steams a bit and helps it retain moisture. There's only one table available inside so most items are to go. They also make fruit bowls and such.

This is a water store and small little cafe inside. They have water filling stations inside during normal business hours and after hours outside is a 24 hr self service machine. It is run my the sweetest couple. The husband is always so friendly and nice and comes and cleans out your containers and fills them for you. The wife words the little kitchen where they sell; tostilocos, tortas, chips, sandwiches, ice cream, fruit salads, ice cones, smoothies and more. It's nice to have a yummy treat along with your water refill. There's tables and chairs to sit and eat inside. They also sell bagged ice. They take cash and debit and credit but there is a .50 charge. And it's in a small shopping corner right off jamacha blvd next to grand ave and the 7-11. My family and I have been coming here for years. We don't have a water service company deliver us water, instead we've bought our own containers and we bring them here every week to be refilled. Cheaper and it's near where we live. I drink a gallon of water everyday and am the the equivalent of the cat lady but with empty water containers. So I come here and always fill my personal bottles up and it's usually more than 2.00. I always look forward to seeing these people they are cheerful and always greet you with a smile and I have never had bad service here.

Great hospitality from an older couple that run the business of selling high quality reverse osmosis water and deli lunches. They make excellent sandwiches, fresh fruit salads, smoothies & shaved ice and beverages. They have many options for water dispensers, containers and accessories. They are on Jamacha Blvd & Sacramento in Spring Valley, just west of Grand Avenue and are open from 10-5pm. Closed on Sunday. Had trouble finding the place, so definitely Google it if your not familiar with the area or call for directions. Well worth the effort to find the place.

This place has the best natural shaved ice (raspados). My favorite is the strawberry/lime with an ice cap of condensed milk. Other natural flavors include Mango, Lime, Tamarind, Coco, Pineapple, and Guava. The deli has a nice selection of sandwiches. Do you crave a fruit salad, stop by and have try one. Need to fill your water jugs. You can do that too.

    $4.50!?! What a deal & equally delicious!

So I got 2 scoops and when rung up at the counter, I was told it was 13.98. Of course I paid it because I had already gotten it and didn't want to be rude. Blah. That and had to wait 20 mins to park in this establishment because they were towing a Tesla in the lot. Left such a sour taste in my mouth. Edit: You can look for my car in the parking lot circling around 10-15 minutes working around the tow truck, even waiting in the lot and then moving as other cars were trying to navigate their way around the lot. The food here is good that it was worth it in my eyes even with this inconvenience. I drive all the way from East county to come here because there aren't other spots like this. Regarding the incident, I can easily provide Life360 map pictures to show my drive, route and duration if you would like actual proof. I was told that the 2 scoops would be 9.99 by the woman. The single scoops are 6.99. I'm aware of this. I asked that the 2 scoops be in 2 separate cups so that my friend and I can share - not that I got 2 separate single servings. Then I got rung up at 13.98 in the front by the cashier. But you know what.. Good to know that this is how you respond to people as a business owner; it's actually so sad that you responded the way you did because instead of looking for clarification, you decided to say that I was not being honest.

Turkey Bacon Ranch Smoked Honey Baked Turkey Breast, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion and ranch on multigrain bread. I tried two. The Tavern Club and Turkey Bacon Ranch. I chose these two because I am a fan of multigrain bread. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Including the lettuce which last year was limp and gross. It helped that we had all of the veggies (lettuce, tomato, onion) on the side to add at our personal discretion. The bacon on both of my little sandwiches was well cooked and there was a noticeable amount. The multigrain bread was good quality and held up nicely. Really the only thing I didn't like was the honey mustard. It is way more honey than it is mustard. Other than that, well done, Honey Baked.

I've come with a reservation, and I have come a week early to then freeze my ham. A week early and the freeze method is the way to go -- there is never, and I mean, never a line the week before or the week after major holidays. The team is attentive and helpful, and they will go out of their way to find you a ham if you do not have a reservation during the busy season. Parking lot is tiny, so expect to park in the neighborhood and walk over during the holidays. My recommendation is maybe they clear out the meats and give the whole department a good deep cleaning. Also consider implement clean processes to keep the smell away because it's really impacting what is being sold. It's off putting to take home meats that it has a funky smell.
