The water is good, but the woman who owns the place is really interesting and cares. I always find myself having conversations with her or her co workers. I leave with the process being so easy and a great value. read more

I'm looking for a good water refill location in East County. I stopped into this location to refill. The nice lady who works there was very pleasant. Water was okay. I'm looking for water that will knock my socks off. And I didn't find it here. I'm on a mission to find a really good water place. Not that the water didn't taste good it was just pretty average. I'm looking for a location that offers options besides alkaline. I was also looking for glass containers vs plastic. They didn't have what I'm looking for. Water Prices are great. And the inside is clean. read more

So disappointing.....I regularly come to fill up water as I have a monthly membership. But after today's visit I have a few health concerns.... Having mold and grime all over the water dispenser area is NOT SAFE. Please do better. I loved coming to this place but after this sadly I will probably not be back ): I can only imagine what the water dispenser area looks like and how often the filters are being changed at this point....... read more

Hands down the best spot for fresh, clean water. The store is always super clean and has a welcoming vibe. Their alkaline water tastes amazing, and I love that they focus on refillable bottles and reducing plastic waste. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and quick, so getting in and out is easy. Prices are fair too, especially compared to constantly buying bottled water. read more

I used to love this place when Jennie (I believe that's her name, really nice and sweet lady) was the owner. Everything was always clean, great service, and amazing prices. Ever since a new owner came in it all just went downhill. First, had a really weird and uncalled for interaction with the woman working the front desk trying to sell me her business of debt clearing or something. Not only did she make assumptions about my and my friends and family finances, she was extremely pushy about it. I brushed it off because, again, I loved this place. Second, they started selling things you can easily get at the smoke shop that is literally right next to it. Scent sprays, lighters, and whatnot. Don't get me wrong, those can be useful -- just definitely do not belong at a water store. Third, the prices. I get that running a business is not easy and everyone needs to get their bread. But paying that for what is being offered is no longer worth it. Lastly, just saw a comment about someone seeing mold and grime. That's enough. I'm sure that there are other places around the area that are doing a better job as a water place. Bye! read more

I like this store, the water is fairly priced and it's clean. I do not like the way it smells of really strong air freshener. I think it's to mask the smell of the smoke shop but I personally think it makes the smell worse. I have a headache when I leave from the smell, can't be good for you. read more

Under new ownership prices have skyrocketed, communication is horrible and deceiving, and hours are slashed. The good news is when you buy your water you can now get your lighters and smoking materials you'd otherwise have to get from the gas station next door. The final straw was testing my alkaline water and it being hardly different than the regular. Upon canceling my membership, I received no communication and it turns out they didn't cancel it! After absolutely no communication on their end, I had to do a chargeback on my card and that seemed to get the message across. What a shame. read more

I was told about this place by a friend of mine and at first I really liked the service, ambiance and of course the water and the prices. However, under the new owner, many things haven't been very pleasant. I had so many problems with buying a three gallon jug. The spigot was leaking and despite testing out several other three gallon jugs ALL of them had the same issue of the spigot leaking water everywhere. Such a shame that this water shop that was once a wonderful place to get my water has now become a very expensive and unkempt place. read more

I love this place when it's open on time! It is rarely open on time, they open at 10am and every time I show up at opening they are NOT there! Store hours are on the window and I have seen them arrive 30 plus minutes late to open. I do like the place and the people who work there are nice but that's all out the window when I can't even get water on the time they said they would be there. Will have to find another spot instead of waisting time. read more

Owner was very attentive and informative. She was welcoming upon entering and took the time to acknowledge us. When we had questions she was honest and took the time to explain things to us. The water quality is great. Definitely better than going to a water mill and it's affordable. read more

Love getting my water from Water Haus! The service is always friendly and professional, and the pricing is great.

My husband and I love coming here for our water ! We've been coming for a few years now. Very clean and affordable.

I am relatively new to the La Mesa area and I stopped getting alkaline water because my new place had a water filter system in the fridge. of course it is not the same as alkaline water so I went back searching for a place until I landed on the water haus! I've been coming here for several months (maybe almost a year) and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I've been helped by 3 people so far all good conversations and interactions. additionally, they have a prepaid service and membership service. I personally enjoy the prepaid method. when I first started their water was $1 per gallon and I think after going for 3 months they increased it by .50 cents a gallon which was a bummer because they had the best pricing for water BUT I understand it's due to the competitive pricing and inflation going crazy here. all in all, great place for water! read more

H2O H2O!! Thank you water haus!! CLEAN place easy parking ,great staff working really like that they what I needed!

Visited here a couple times and both times have been very quick and easy! They have great prices, provide many options depending on your needs, provide carts for transporting the water, and friendly service every time. read more

Consistently great tasting water. I have been a customer since they opened. I've moved a few cities away but I still return to this store due to the quality of their water. Only issue I have had was that they sold out on the day of the San Diego Hurricane 2023. read more

Best water in town. Lots of good products to hold your water. Self serve. Convenient location.

This is the best thing that has happened for La Mesa. I've been a resident for many years, and this small business stands out above the rest. Their dedication to the environment and safe drinking is second to none. Being a cancer survivor, the alkaline water they provide kept me and my family on the right track. Hats off to crew read more

I had to find another drinking water source and was pleasantly surprised to find one close by who produced a product that pleased my wife's demanding taste. The price also came in a little lower than from our previous provider. Gary S. read more

Best water store in town! The Water Haus store is conveniently located by the shell gas station at Baltimore and Fletcher. I get both the alkaline water and the purified water. The place is very clean. Water taste amazing (healthy) and is super affordable. I save more money refilling my alkaline water from here rather than buying in the grocery store. Plus I feel more earth friendly buying here instead of buying single use plastic bottles. Staff is very friendly and i definitely highly recommend this place. read more

Love The Water Haus!! High quality water, nice atmosphere, and great people. I buy alkaline water because it has added minerals that's important for our health. They offer many packages and membership options to save $ as well, and the shop sells reusable bottles if you're just starting out. They also have a 24-hour water vending machine out front for when the shop isn't open. Angie, the owner, is a native Californian and she's just the best. She really cares about making the world a better place and doing her part to reduce the use of single-use plastics. She's dedicated to running her business as sustainably as possible and is super low waste. Check out their IG (@the_waterhaus) for the Earth Day video about the small amount of trash they throw away each week. The parking lot is small and can be full at times but people are always coming and going. Overall, this is a great place to get your water. Support small, local businesses!! read more

Love how clean it is in this water store. Cleanliness is definitely a must upon walking into a clean water store. I wholeheartedly believe in the health of alkaline water and love that we can get it here. Their staff is friendly and helpful. read more

I gave the water Haus only 2 stars because. Pro: Clean and well kept water store, the young lady behind the counter was friendly when I came in. Con: Other than being friendly the young lady behind the counter offered no assistance want so ever. I had told her that I had never been there before and I wasn't sure what the process was. She proceeded to explain about the bottle washing station,etc.... When I paid for my water bottles, she asked if I wanted a receipt and I said yes as well as my change. She handed me my receipt but not my $10.00 in change and gave me a blank stare when I asked for my change. It was then that she realized that she hadn't even put any money in the register. Lastly when she finally got my change she handed me 10 one dollar bills instead of just 1 10$ bill or 2 5$ bills. When I questioned it that's when she ended up giving me 2 5$ bills. I only tried The Water Haus because of all the great reviews and I definitely will not be returning. Other than it being clean that's all it had going for it. read more

Convenient, efficient, and friendly - the Water Haus has solved my water supply problems for good! Say goodbye to buying wasteful, plastic bottles or trying to find a vending machine outside a grocery store that isn't broken! When you go into the Haus, you have five super fast dispensers of either purified or alkaline water to fill up any sized bottle There is even an ozonated water bottle cleaner option that you can use to clean out your bottles before you fill up. What used to take me 20-30 minutes of driving around to fill up water, hoping to find a water vending machine that wasn't out of order, now takes 5 min. There is even membership benefits (quantity discounts) to save per gallon if you plan on returning again which I obviously do. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Great work Angie!!! read more

The Water Haus - there is a shelf of water - Water Stores Near Me - La Mesa, California

I've been to many water stores and I can honestly say this one gives the best experience! Who ever though that buying water would feel like going to a friend's house?!? All of the staff are helpful and friendly, but also chill. I say "chill", because they are authentically themselves. Not customer service robots. I can assume it's the all the water flowing throughout the day that puts them in a calm state lol. Or maybe that's the vibe set by the owner, Angie. Now, she is awesome!! I actually look forward to seeing her and catching up when I go in. Every time, Angie greats me by name and asks how things are going. But not in a basic "hi, how are you" way. She actually remembers what I told her on the last visit. She's so personable, kind and thoughtful. I've been a client of The Water Haus for 2 years now and don't see myself going anywhere else! read more
