Way too much for RO water . I can pay less at another RO place . Won't go back . Also wasn't prewarned about the .75 cent charge on apple pay , on top of it the idiot kid acted like it's my responsibility to read all the crap they have posted as if i knew it was going to say anything about a charge .... good customer service responsibility would be to tell me about the charge ahead of time out of respect . on top of it a customer had three five gallon jugs of water and was pushing it out to his car and before he got outside the door the wheel broke on the cart and all the water flooded the ground and soaking my shoes and the stupid kid tried fixing the wheel first before trying to push out the water on the floor !! i mean it was a huge ass floods !!! what a dummy ! clean up the water first and help the customer . instead of helping the customer he was trying to fix the stupid cart . He had the nerve and say all places charge .75 cents to use apple pay ! he act like i'm stupid !! never going back there ! I've never been charged a ,75 cent charge using apple pay no matter the amount i paid. i have been charged a smaller fee from time to time from other places but not that much ... read more

Good location and competitive pricing. However, they could definitely increase their business and have higher customer satisfaction if they kept the place spotless. It makes you question if they are replacing all the filters and keeping everything spotless behind the scenes when it's not kept very clean where the customers and supplies are in the front of the store. read more

Great tasting water and my Family loves the taste. Been going here for a few years now. I have 8 3 gal water bottles and fill them in just a few minutes and I'm on my way. I buy in advance and Jason lets me know each time how many gallon's I have left. it's less expensive per gallon and I don't have to stop and pay each time. I'm really spoiled in that I only live a mile away. I don't know what I'd do if he ever moved! We have got all our bottled water from them for probably 10 years. All their staff has been helpful and friendly over the years. Sometimes parking's bit cramped at that shopping center but if so they will help you with your purchases. The 50 - 100 - 200 gallon plans work for us; just go in, give them your name (they'll learn it pretty quickly), fill up and go. Yes! This is the place. SD tap water=ugh. read more

As a family we are making a conscience effort to reduce our use of disposable items such as water bottles. Jason's water store is a HUGE help in our effort. The water is better than anything else you can get on the market, especially the delivery truck ones and we can use at our own pace. The system is easy to use, the couple that owns this business is friendly, helpful and fun to talk to. I am new to this water store business and did a lot of price checking on Yelp! I was spoiled and always bought the millions of water bottles (I recycled though!) and then started to drink Brita water. Brita seemed like a joke to me with these filters that I really don't think did anything so I just said the hell with it and drank the tap here in San Diego. While the tap here tastes fine, I think it may have caused my skin to break out. I have been told that too much fluoride causes acne and I broke out like I did when I was 13! That's just the only theory I could come up with since I didn't change how I ate or any products that I used. Anyway on to the review :) I was looking into different water stores by me as well as by work. A place in Clairmont seems to have water for $0.35 a gallon which is the cheapest I have seen in San Diego while not prepaying). I decided to give this place a try since reading the Yelp reviews and because I frequent the Albertson's and Fresh and Easy nearby. Great prices, I picked up the refrigerator size BPA free 3 gallon bottle for $13.50 which Water Lady wants $16.00 for. I also got 10 gallons free with purchase of the bottle (most places do that it seems). Buy prepaying you get 50 gallons for $17.50, but for me it is actually 60 due to the free gallons. Actually 61 because you get the first water free. Comes out to being $0.29 a gallon for me. Their non pre pay price is $0.40 still $0.10 cheaper than Water Lady's pay as you go option. I hate pre paying out of fear that businesses close (has happened to me before), but I figure it will last me the summer knock on wood. The taste tastes like water. I really cannot tell the difference between water (and I think most people are bullshitting when they claim they can). I just wanted something with less chemicals in it and got it at a great price. Service was good and there is plenty of parking since it is in a big strip mall. So far no cons. Oh yeah another pro. They have those by the month coupon saver things there for places I eat at once in awhile =D I noticed that the bottle seemed to be leaking slowly in my fridge. Within a few days my fridge was soaking wet! Went back to the place and asked for an exchange. They looked at it and just retweeked it saying if still leaked to bring it back and then they would give me a new one. There seems to be a little bit of water in my fridge, but no idea if this time it is from a leak or just something else. I did think it was a bit strange to not take my word for it to just allow me to exchange the damn thing so I wouldn't have to make a special trip, but whatever. Cheap ice. Ten pounds (I think?) for $2.00 or some gallons of your card. Update: I am stupid and realized that outside of the Big Lots near me there is a $0.20 water station. Shouldn't have prepaid this soon, but what can I do! read more

This place was great! It was my first time and the attendant was very friendly and helped me carry my two 5 gal jugs to the car! He walked me through the process and was a great conversationalist, sadly I left and I don't remember his name because I am terrible with names. I paid 60 cents a gallon and well worth the price for the taste and to support a small business in La Mesa. I will be refilling my jugs here every time! Jugs! read more

i love water. more than anything else in my life. this is the best water i have ever had. my family has been getting water from this store for as long as i can remember, and at the santee location as well. it's purified water. they use reverse osmosis. so it gets all the bad stuff out, as well as fluoride (i am not a fan of it). it leaves the water being crisp and clean, the type that actually satisfies thirst. when it's cold, it's even better. and when there is ice in it, it's wonderful. they sell other stuff you need, like the jugs, dispensers, water bottles, stands and what not. they have tabs, so you can lay down money and just come in with your bottles when you need to refill and say "it's on so-and-so" and they just deduct the cost of the size container you have from the account. considering i drink a lot of water, and how many bags of ice my roommate and i have taken off the account as well, $50 has lasted us about 3 months and we still have about 17 gallons worth left on the account. and if they aren't open, they have a walk up coin operated machine. read more

This is an awesome water store! I prepay and can just come in and fill up my water. The staff is so helpful too. I have a five month old baby and they always help me fill my jugs and put it in the car for me. The water is so good too! I also love all the quirky retro decorations. I go in every couple of weeks and always see something new. read more

I'm done with this place. Literally. I got my money refunded for the last 55 gallons I prepaid on my account and I am never coming back. Too many times I have come with my bottles and the store is closed due to equipment failure. This week I had to show up three times because they had no water or not enough water to allow people to rinse their bottles (and I saw others try to show up with dusty bottles that they wanted to rinse before filling). Today I washed my bottles before coming, filled up, and then got my last 55 gallons refunded (mind you, they were still not letting people rinse due to water shortages in their machines). There are other water stores to go to and I don't trust the water quality at this place with its faulty equipment. That said, the people who work here are nice. They just can't get things running well enough to provide the water service people require. read more

I swear I can taste the difference in water. I was raised on bottle water and can't stand the stuff from the tap. I've tried a few water stores in the area but it was Jason's water store that tasted best. The clerks are friendly, always offering help with carrying out my bottles since I always have a kid with me :) I also like how they offer BPA free bottles. read more

My husband is a total water snob. He used to drink only Dasani. Then I discovered Jason's Water Store and he said he's never tasted better water. He's completely addicted now. The prices are really good, and it's so easy to pay. Just tell them your last name, and they'll deduct from your account. There is almost always a parking spot open right in front of the store, and the employees will help you fill your bottles, carry them and load them into the car if you like. My husband is very picky about what water he will drink. For years we had water delivered but the increasing cost forced us to cancel. When we heard about Jason's Water Store we gave it a try. My husband was VERY pleased. I was not a fan of any kind of water but in an attempt to improve my general health started drinking 64 oz a day. I LOVE the water from this place!! I've become a water snob, drink nothing else and will not leave home with out it!! My friends laugh at me cuz I carry jugs of water around with me because I love this water so much. I won't buy ice from anywhere else, other wise my drinks taste bad. A friend brought a bag of ice from the grocery store over when they came for dinner. I pushed it to the back of the freezer and melted it in the sink when they left. And of course made everyones drinks with the "good ice". The store is convenient, the prcies are good and the product is AWESOME. I highly recommend it to any and everyone. My brother introduced me to it when I moved here and we lived in the area. I live in North Park now and still drive to Fletcher Hills for it. My brother moved to Orange County and when they come to visit they bring their empty bottles to fill up with this stores yummy goodness. Its worth it! Get some pure water in you now!! read more
